    Morning awesome team ... No walk this morning for me ... I am completely exhausted so I slept in ...still tired but my plan for today is to do yoga and clean my house ..I hope everyone has an awesome day :)

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 Great plan - our bodies need recovery days once in a while - and you have been knocking it out of the park with your workouts lately!

    It saddens me that our wonderful team is so quiet... I am hoping that we can be more chatty in May ...If anyone has any suggestions on how we can become more talkative please do not be shy and share your thoughts ...Thanks :)

    Good evening all.
    Check in for 4/27:
    Steps - 6539
    Calories - about 1850. Forgot the number.
    Exercise - slow short walk. Decided to cut it short and head to the store instead.

    @lindamtuck2018 I think I will like my initial range to be 230-220. I don't know how much swelling I will have or how much they are removing. I will modify it when everything settles.

    My pre-op was freaky. The nurse took my vitals and my surgery was put in jeopardy. My pulse had dropped to 44 bpm. They switched machines and still low. Took an ekg and it read 48 bpm. They decided to let me continue, thankfully. I got the OK to take my iron pills but not the multivitamin. So, as of tonight, I am a go for the 6th.
    I am going to take it very easy this next week. I don't want to get hurt. Tomorrow I want to hit the gym but will drop weight on my lifts.

    Hey Downsizers - here's some info from MFP:

    ***MFP DOWNTIME SCHEDULED FOR 6AM PST 4/28***

    We have been experiencing some extended issues that have resulted in us needing to do a brief window of downtime where MyFitnessPal will be unavailable. This downtime is scheduled for 6am PST / 8am CST on the morning of Thursday, 4/28/22 and is expected to last 2 hours. PLEASE SEE https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/5716717249933 dedicated to the aforementioned extended issues for detailed information on what is going on, and what to expect during this downtime. We will also be updating that featured post with any updates that take place during this downtime window.

    Wow, that is a low pulse. I am glad they are going ahead with your surgery. Resting until surgery is probably a good idea. Can you do me a favour? When the May team chat opens can you do a post about your journey. It’s so inspiring and we can all use some inspiration at the beginning of a challenge.

    @roz0810
    Fantastic loss! What are some of your favourites that you have been cooking?

    @peng123
    That’s impressive! You are so focused.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    It is super quiet.

    Steps: 15,388
    Exercise: 72 minutes of laps, arms, abs and water exercises

    Well I am proud of myself for doing more than an hour of exercise yesterday. I am up early this morning so I can get to the pool as soon as it opens as I have an appointment at the hospital just before lunch. I am terrified of my weigh in tomorrow. I had a few days of stress eating as we are dealing with a family situation. I really wanted to have 4 weeks in the green this month. Right now I am up 2 pounds so I am praying for a whoosh tomorrow.

    Happy Thursday!

    Sounds like a nice Mom/daughter time. If you are like me, if I stress about it I will eat more. When I go to Atlantic City in May, I am not logging food for 4 days.

    Hi all,
    I have been mia for the last two weeks. I moved in for a week with the man I started dating. We have been so happy together that we have decided to make it permanent. I will weigh in tomorrow morning. Please move my weigh in days to Fridays.

    The May habit tracker is up and ready for anyone who wants to put in their commitments for next month. Give it a try if you want one more way to stay on track :smiley:

    I can't believe it is already time for a new month in a couple of days!

    @peng123 first up are the large fat pockets on my upper thighs. Then the rest of the thighs, rear, belly and then finally arms and chest. At least 5 surgeries unless I stop sooner. About 5-6 months between for healing.

    Steps: 15,716
    Exercise: 68 minutes of laps and water aerobics

    PW 203.8
    CW 204.4

    I am disappointed with the gain. I did finish the month with a loss bigger than my goal for the month so that’s good.

    Have a super Friday!
