Hi Ladies
Thank you for your thoughts. My sister passed away Friday 8/12. 💔😔 Still processing everything- still in disbelief. I hope to be back on this journey soon. But again that you for all your thoughts and well wishes.

@jugar I need to do my weight tomorrow. I got up and forgot to weigh in before coming down and eating. Had to have snug time with my Juliet before she left for DC.
PS They still haven’t left three hours later. My kid does not move as fast as her parents.
No problem! Have they left yet?1 -
@ashleycarole86 and @bowens1973 I have been imagining you floating in the blue sky - after so many delays it must be even more wonderful than it would have been without them! And of course, you left behind the 212 pounds that you two have lost together. That is, apparently, the weight of an adult male leopard, so good thing you didn't have him along with you for sure!
Such a gorgeous day today, even though I did not get a long walk in, it was lovely out in the gardens. I about tangled myself in the bird netting from the blueberry patch, though. I took it down now that those lovely berries are just about finished. Folding that stuff and putting it away is hilarious evolving into frustrating and then finally just makes you crazy and the messy, poorly folded, and just squished blobs get put away anyhow. Done for the year. Then I just went back to fluting - way easier to deal with, even if the notes get tangled up from time to time.
I'll be back for the nagfest later!3 -

Today we planned to go to the lake since it was pretty hot. I had a feeling that once I got to the lake I would be happy in my floatie. I worked out before heading to the lake and I was glad I did. I also stuck to my food plan and hit my macros for the day.4

So sorry for your loss. Will be thinking of you.. my sincere condolences.0 -
I didn't get the chance to check in yesterday as I wanted to give a full balloon ride update and I was absolutely exhausted. The experience was so memorable. For those that didn't know, my husband giften me a sunrise hot air balloon ride on our wedding day, but due to COVID and also many weather cancellations, yesterday (almost 3 years later!!) was the day the ride actually happened!
I will also say that one of my "goal activites" with weight loss was this balloon ride, because when I was gifted it both my husband and I weighed over 250 pounds, and you had to call the office if you weighed more than that.. not that I think you weren't allowed on, but how many can go in the basket is dependent on weight so I'm not sure if you were going to have to pay a premium or what.. no idea but I didn't even want to go down that path so when I made it to that milestone last year I was so excited as one of my weight loss motivations was to get to a weight where I was no longer restricted in the activities I do by the number on the scale.
ANYHOO... we had to meet in the parking lot to drive to the launch location at 5:45 which meant a 4 a.m. wake up call. We picked up our friend who was joining us and off we went. There were 10 passengers including our group of 3, our pilot (an Aussie named Mitch), and a ground crew of 3. The staff were outstanding. They made the whole experience feel so great. We launched from a beautiful park in our city near the Glenmore Resevoir. It was so peaceful up there. I actually am glad we did it in our own city because a lot of the fun was identifying things we knew from up in the sky. The feeling was completely different from being in a plane too.. the height was such that you still felt close to the ground so you could see people in their yards, but it looked like a miniature world.
Our landing was smooth but it was a bit windier as it was time to land so it took him a few tries... but the actual placement of the basket on the ground was amazing... no bounce at all. Completely worth the wait.
And yes @kellie_erin that absolutely would have been us as we were the only balloon going up in Calgary that morning... SO cool you saw us!!7 -

I'm pleased with this loss! I'm slowly trying to change things and trying to make healthier choices. I'm also trying to take care of my injuries a bit better and am off to see a sport's med person next Saturday.
@ashleycarole86 that's so cool that I saw your balloon! And those pictures are great!6 -
@jugar can I please be excused this week? A bit too much on the go at the moment and I keep forgetting the scale. Eating hasn't been very organized either. I hope to rein it back in by next week.1
