Morning Ladies! Been in back to school mode this weekend with Bella. Got a huge load of new clothes at Old Navy yesterday....quite a sale. Great plus sized section.
I'm cautious optimistic....they haven't been back full time in school since their mental healthy treatment in the beginning of the year. They have been making a lot of progress. ..still more to go. I have them at therapy this morning. Took advantage of the cool weather and walked a hilly mile and 1/2.
Lots of prep work to do today...will spend the afternoon doing it all...but will be good to get it done.
Have a great day!

Pat walked with me early this morning for the first time in over two years. Man, time flies! He did pretty good. I hope he'll walk with me next Sat & Sun. We'll see.
When he first started walking with me after his hip surgery over 10 years ago, we would walk short distances really slow and then I would leave him at the front door and continue. I didn't do that today. Maybe I will next weekend. Again, we'll see. I hope he walks with me because it makes the walk go so much faster. And he's fun.
We did 3.47 miles in 76 mins.

Chris,
I didn't realize it'd been that long since you and Pat had walked together! Didn't you used to regale us with the trouble the two of you got into while exploring empty building sites and such not? At least, that's what my mind remembers. You sound like a very fun influences on each other.

Paula, yeah, we walked everywhere. Fun stuff but I won't go to a lot of those places by myself, and because I have direction dysfunction, I can't remember how to get to a lot of them and then get home. Some of them are too scary to go to by myself. Hoping that we get back to exploring on the weekends.
I'm going to see my trainer for an hour this afternoon.
Have a great week everyone.

Chris - The amount of walking you do is inspiring. When my husband joins our weekend warrior challenges you literally get him off the couch and he starts to walk around the block to beat you it's pretty hilarious lol!
Has a hectic start a
Of the week here. I went to yoga tonight which was exactly what I needed. Feel so much better now

Karen, that's pretty funny!! At least I got your husband off the couch sooner than I got mine!

So glad to catch up with you all. I read everything. Was inspired by some. Laughed at others. And went down memory lane several times.
Paula I volunteered at a kitchen in a state mental institution in WA. I can tell you that peeling a hundred pounds of potatoes was a chore!
Will post those pictures later. Joey has been doing poorly for awhile. He had great days then would get lost. Night and days mixed up. Peeing on himself and other problems. Broke my heart. Doctor Angie came to our home and helped us say good bye. I could not be there for him. Just couldn't. But Rocky held him through it all. I needed to remember him as he was. We will bury him on the mountain.

Oh Shelley,
So sorry... Wish I could be there to cry with you. He was a lucky pup to have such a wonderful life with people who loved him as much as you did. Doesn't make it any easier though.
so so sorry,
Paula
