I am going to take that after that vacation with all the good eating we did. I was mindful of choices at times but did ensure I enjoyed when it was time to do so. Guessing all the walking we did helped a bit too! This trip was over 30 months in the making as we postponed last year so it made it that much sweeter. And just saying.. I rocked ziplining!! It was so much fun. 😀
@sandkp Welcome back! I'd take that too after a week vacation! 👍 Sounds like it was a great time. I'm way to chicken to try ziplining. 😳😳0 -
Getting my brother ready for school. Thank you for inviting me but I’m going to stay away. I feel like I am going to throw up constantly and just have too much going on. I need to not. I said some things last night that would really upset Mom & I’m embarrassed. i could hear her old voice lecturing me. I don’t know how you delete crap on here! I could change it to a period but not delete. Thank you all. 💗Jordan0
-
Ignore what i said last night if you saw it please. 😭 Mom would be very sad and angry. Bye 💗Jordan0

Mom is not mom 🙏I hope she comes back. It’s like she died anyway0

I don’t know how to do this! If it wasn’t for my Mom’s old boss who is also her good friend telling me what to do each step i don’t know where we would be. She’s kinda an aunt except not really.
She’s always putting herself in bad situations to help others. I love and hate that. I’m mad at her and that makes me feel bad. We wouldn’t be here if she could just say no but maybe she will next time.0 -

@JbeanR0212 Oh Jordan, do not worry about anything you said here, only we can see it and we're here to support you and your mom. I believe the moderator can delete posts so if you would like me to contact her I will. Just let me know. I'm glad that you have your mom's friend there to help you with this. I'm way over on the East coast in Maryland, but am there with you in spirit. Let me know how I can help. Tell your mom that I said hello and that I miss her posts.1 -
Jordan sends her apologies everyone. She is carrying a lot and we have had many more bad moments than good. Behavioral therapy this morning was slightly helpful. Jennifer and the kids are working in ‘naming their feelings’.
We are testing out different dictation softwares so Jennifer can talk to you herself. We have not found one to transcribe correctly yet. We did try to read all the pages here but if was difficult to follow. We will see if it is easier going forward.
This is what we received moments ago: Hi boo 0000 ha it type I say cuckoo ha Que I don’t help thank you no more a half *kitten* talk soon OK done no done
It should read “Hi (laugh) it types what I say (laugh) I don’t know what to say, okay help me. Thank you. No more this is hard. Uh talk soon. Okay done. I’m done.”
Jennifer has been having a very hard time and it has made her temperamental. I think she has been overstimulated. We’ll get there.
Q: Does she need to weigh every day?
She is at 148.7
Thank you for bearing with us and your well wishes.

I don’t know how *kitten* popped in but the transcription did think she was saying the ‘a’ word. I guess that is a filter in here.1 -
@JbeanR0212 Hi Lisa! Tell Jordan no apologies are necessary and to not give it another thought.
MFP censors our language and replaces anything objectionable with *kitten* so yes, if she said the "A" word it would delete that. In her shoes I'd be throwing F-bombs left and right and my post would end up being *kitten* *kitten* *kitten* *kitten* this *kitten* !!! She can relax, we are happy to hear from her no matter how garbled or how many *kitten*s it may contain.
Jenn's official weigh-in day is Thursday so that's the only day she needs to weigh in for TBBT purposes. I'm the team captain so I will record her weight in the official log. I know you are no longer focusing on weight loss but for her and your reference she has lost 3.4 lbs since her last weigh-in on 31 Aug.
I imagine it's very difficult for her. She wants to talk, and write long posts and get out on the water and she can't. I'd be very temperamental too. We wish for her to relax and let her body heal. We'll be here any time she (you) want to post.
Tell her we're all dancing our *kittens* off!!!0 -
Thank you Daffygirl. I’m glad Jennifer has not used the bomb or *kitten* yet. We have had enough colorful conversation without those in her vernacular! It is expected in her condition. She has a strong personality. I am glad she can’t throw anything. Thank you for the laugh.

@JbeanR0212 That's what I'm here for. I have been known to make people spit their coffee out onto their monitor.

A bit of stress eating this week 😬 glad it wasn't worse. On a positive note I got a new Fitbit and it's a significant upgrade from the one I had. Looking forward to figuring out how it works. 🙃
Happy Friday y'all! I hope everyone has a wonderful day. 💕1 -

Jennifer’s smile remains strained but she is working hard to master it. I attempted to take a picture but that did not go over well.
In addition to boycotting meals she has been kicking but fortunately for us her depth perception is off. There are things she would like right now that we cannot assist with. As she reminds us “I am an adult”. She has been avoiding eye contact and is giving the silent treatment in protest. Behaviors like these are to be expected but we are not letting her give up! Her children don’t have school today and we hope to share everyone’s dances with her while having our own little party.
She was happy to see the announcement and wanted to tell her teammates “great job kicking big butts”.
Thank you for the continued support,
Lisa W.

*I know some of you are her friends but not all. I apologize if this is too redundant.2 -

@brandi_84 Officially I am 80 % telework and 20% in the office, which works out to one day a week. The lead for team that I'm on left, Wednesday was his last day. Since I was his right hand I have spent the last 3 weeks in turnover meetings with either leadership or the incoming team lead so have been in the office almost every day. For example, Monday I had 7 meetings in 3 different buildings. That left little time to eat or pee, let alone go for my lunchtime walk.
Which brings me to - I got the Charge 5. Mostly because a friend got one recently and has been expounding its virtues ever since. That, coupled with the aforementioned work schedule, I had no time to shop around. Amazon 1 day shipping. Badda bing, badda boom.2 -

Sorry your work life ate you alive in recent weeks. Hopefully it will settle down? 🤞🏼
Congrats on the 5! I have a 4 and I’m pretty pleased with it. I had terrible luck with all of the previous models and was about to give up but I took a chance on the 4 and so far, so good.

Friday 23 September
Track: yes
Under: yes
Exercise: some, but not as much as I had planned. When I was in the basement on the elliptical I looked over and saw a puddle of water on the floor. 🤔 Realized it was right under the laundry room and I had recently done a load of laundry. Went upstairs to find a bigger puddle in the laundry room behind the brand new W&D that Best Buy installed two weeks ago. 😟 Sadly that ate up the rest of my morning and threw my whole day off. Hopefully today will be better. 🤞1 -

@therealbluenote I feel ya sister!
And thanks for the well wishes on my work schedule. I'm trying to remind myself that I am only one person, can only do so much, and many things are out of my control, but sometimes at 2:30 am I forget that and start tossing and turning and punching my pillow. 😟
I was hoping the transition would be easier. I worked for the new guy before on a different team and we worked very well together. Three weeks in he's still asking stupid questions. 🤦♀️ He's not a stupid man! He's got master's degrees in engineering and project management! I want to ask him what happened to his brain cells in the last four years?!🤷♀️ Maybe I had unrealistic expectations. I'm hoping that somehow over the weekend things will come together in his brain 🧠 and next week will go smoother. One can hope right?😊1 -
Yesterday was a nice change of pace. She is getting some overdue quality rest. Our spirits were boosted and we hope to keep the momentum. We are taking Jennifer for a drive in the mountains to see the colors. Yellow is her favorite color, fall is her favorite season and this is one of her “very favorite” traditions. We will find a solid path if for only 5 minutes of walking.
Lyrics have always been a factor in Jennifer’s music choices. She likes all genres but blues & jazz are her favorites. This song from her playlist really had her going yesterday.
Heaven Help Us All by Ray Charles & Gladys Knight from the Genuis Loves Company album.
Her son has a cute story about this one. She likes to blare it and sing in the car. He claims that she would always tell him that “someday these embarrassing memories will be your favorites”. He sees now ‘how right she is’. Never take a moment for granted. When people would give them funny looks at stoplights she would encourage them to roll down their windows and sing with her. A nice guy followed her to the store and gave her a rose once. Her youngest is anxious to ‘see Mom grab weird outfits and dance crazy in the store aisles again’.
Keep them coming,
Lisa W.

If she has personally shared her relationship status with anyone please send us a message. There is conflicting information. We thought she could not remember a bad breakup but it is complicated. Jennifer may remember just fine. Her texts with this individual have us confused. We have an overnight guest who concerns her daughter but it’s good to see Jennifer getting great rest. There looks to be undeniable love between the two. She is at peace.2 -
@JbeanR0212 I hope you get to go for a ride today. When we lived in Maine I loved driving around in the fall seeing the beautiful trees. 🍂🍁 And of course the very best thing about fall is... PUMPKIN SPICE!!!! 😁🥰
I posted on the news feed but will add it here as well. For Ray Charles I have to go with Mess Around. 😊😊
Have a great day! 💕0
