Sending your family good thoughts and love, Kathy.
I did 5.74 miles in 116 mins to the post office and back this morning before it got to 115 degrees this afternoon!! I took my umbrella which was very good idea and there was a bit of a breeze going one way. Just walking out to say "Good Bye" to Ronan and Pete at 2:30ish was long enough that I had sweat running down my back!!! Crazy hot here!

Kathy I really suck at these types of things. All I want to do is hug you all and bake. Loves you my sis.

I completely understand my sister prayers and virtual hugs help. I feel all of your arms around me daily. I know you ladies are sending positive thoughts my way. We’re taking it one day at a time. Just trying to keep my mom from getting too down.

My sister is coming over tomorrow and staying with our parents all day. I’m going to go to the Falcons opening game tomorrow. I really need to get out. Ron and my sister talked me into going. It will be good to get out of the house for a few hours.

    Take care ladies!

    Kathy,

Thank you for the update. I think about you a lot. It's wonderful to see your love for your family and hear everything you do for them.

And thank you for caring for yourself too - it's so important. Hope you have a wonderful football game tomorrow. Go Falcons!

Pat and I did 4.13 miles in 104 mins this morning. It was so much fun! We went to what we called the Rocky Road which is now a bunch of big houses and we walked all around. We were pretty slow but had a ball! We are going to go out again tomorrow. I hope this starts to be our weekend adventures.

We did 4.12 miles in 99 mins this morning. It was cloudy and breezy, just the kind of weather Patrick loves. It was a good walk.

    Chris,

So happy for you to have your PatWalks again. <3

I've been nibbling all day for the last week and was absolutely shocked to have lost 2 pounds. It's still awful @ 204; but less awfuller than it coulda been.

    Take care,

Paula I think it is great that you want your home to look especially nice for friends. Even under the worst of situations you are thinking of others.

Chris my workouts have been helping with the cabin build. I will post photos later. I even took off the last two days to help Rocky

I did take my mom to a dollar store Tuesday night. She has wanted to take her scooter down there for a couple years. There are 2 busy four lane streets to cross. Normally it would be about a 12 minute walk. Took almost 20. I had to adjust my normal route to someone on a scooter. The city should take a look at how handicap accessible the sidewalks are. They are not! But we still had fun. And Rocky even came and offered us a ride. We declined, saying we would risk the rain and incoming darkness. We made it with about 2 minutes to spare.

Kathy - I've been a little spotty posting this past week as I've been traveling in Canada. But I've kept you and your family and my thoughts and prayers. Such tough stuff. I also would be dropping off food at your house if we lived closer :) hugs to you my friend!

I've really been struggling at work so wasn't thrilled to come to this trip to Canada but I put on my happy face :). Been struggling for quite a while and not seeing any options ahead to stay with this company which is devastating after 23 years. But I may have to put my big girl pants on and take a leap. Just not ready yet. Working on it with my therapist.

This past year has been all about Bella and her mental health and getting her strong. She's doing so much better in school and is having a good year so far. It's early days though.

I've been OK with eating here....not exercising much...but looking forward to flying out today;) hoping I don't have issued getting home.

    Have a great day ladies!

Paula, hope you enjoy your friends coming this weekend.
Shelley...need pictures! Sidewalks are not even safe for walkers. I have tripped so many times on uneven concrete panels. Man! I want to paint all of them RED!!!
Karen, hope your return is swift and easy. Glad Bella is doing better. As far as your job goes...ya gotta do what is best for you. You are the important one...not those guys.
It was 60 degrees when we got up at 5:20 this morning!!! It should stay in the 60's thru my walk according to my phone! It's going to be nice!

No workout today. My trainer has one of those nasty headaches...I can't even say the word, ya know. So I ordered groceries for dinner tomorrow night with the kids. I'm going to finish my book now. :D

Karen I feel for you. That is a long time to be with a company. I think your family would love having you home more.

Today was nuts. Put in another hard day helping with the cabin. Rocky noticed that someone else ad the piece of equipment we needed to put the main beam in place. They agreed to come lift it into place for $500. Which was a steal. It would of cost that just to have one delivered. Then rent on top of it. Lucky. I know pictures. Tomorrow maybe.

    Very tired

Chris did Pat walk with you? Or did the rain keep you indoors? Hope you played in the rain some. How is DDD??

Today was a long day. I never get a day off. Looking forward to snow and a break.

The rain was a treat, wasn't it, Chris! It fluctuated between a heavy downfall and clear skies which was perfect. Lot's of wet stuff, but time to sink in and dry off at the same time. Been a long time since we've had more than sprinkles.

My friends are gone after staying with me for the memorial this weekend. It was a real treat to see them, but two days of non-stop go was exhausting. I came home and slept for 3 hours in the middle of the day.

Gonna get back in the swing when I wake up in a couple days.

Sounds like us folks are having some good days mixed with some challenges.

    Best wishes girlfriends,
    Paula

Paula - glad you had a fun (but exhausting) visit with your friends.

I had lunch with my 2 girlfriends yesterday which was really nice;)

Tired on a Monday morning.....need to call the car dealership first thing. Got s flat tire...hit a curb ;( Hoping they can squeeze me in.

Planning on reeling it in big time today. I've been a bit off kilter with everything.....20 days till our cruise to Bermuda/Bahamas....so important to go in a reasonable place...a little concerned about the post cruise weight!

Morning ladies. Hope all is well. Miss you ladies but trying to give all my attention to Mom and Dad. Mom is hanging in and Dad is getting weaker as he’s still not eating or drinking much at all. The nurse and the aide are wonderful.

Trying to stay positive but this is so hard. Don’t sleep much at night because Dad gets out of bed so we’re constantly checking on him. The nurse is going to bring an alarm which will either help or scare the crap out of me. 🤭

Keep up the good work ladies. I’m doing what I can but I know it’s not enough. Will try to do more but very tired.
