I’m feeling much better. Still sniffly but much much better. My sciatica pain is also better thanks to a few rounds of ibuprofen.
Today I got my karate done and the Sensei was excited to see that I finally found a KarateGi. We have a presentation to do on December 10th that I’m so nervous about. I must practice at home as much as I can.

Good evening. I hope you are all warm and dry. That snow looks horrid.

Steps - 2985. Stayed home most of the day. Trying to get my back better.
Calories - 2795. Ugh.
Exercise - none. Sea world tomorrow to see the holiday stuff and taste the holiday food.1 -

Yesterday was a busy day for us. Luka and I had our Karate class in the morning followed by a quick lunch at one of the bakery’s here then the whole family had haircuts. After that Sam had a birthday party to go to and mike and I did some shopping while he was there. We finished our day quite late so this morning I was feeling too tired to go to the gym. Instead I will be practicing my karate this afternoon. Our presentation is December 10 and I know it will be fast approaching so I need all the practice I can get.
I’ll try to make the gym on Tuesday and maybe thrown in an extra session one evening this week. Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday.

After 3 vaccinations and 2 boosters, COVID finally caught up with me this week (looks like I picked it up in Columbus, OH last week after visiting the kids), and then Susan, 2 days later, and then our youngest son (16) the day after that. After living/sleeping in the (finished) basement for 2 days, I can't say I wasn't glad to rejoin the family again in the rest of the house but wish it was under different circumstances. I started getting my strength back 2 days ago but still have the congestion, etc. but loss of appetite is probably the reason for the weight loss as I certainly haven't been doing any exercise this week.2 -

Instead of piling my plate up .... Take small amounts of everything and drink lots of water (to keep you full)1
