@Dianedoessmiles1 already watched the introduction to and read the chapters. I sometimes listen to it for annunciation of names, after all it's our Savior's geneology we are reading!! So it is important !! Hope you enjoyed your chicken, I have to go make that food but tomorrow no room in the fridge from all the other food I made, gotta eat that first. Good thing my fridge is good and cold - a lil too cold near the back so we are careful not to put anything back near the wall that can cause freezing - like EGGS - Gene pickes up the eggs, he can decide what he will pay, I do the egg whites and that has gone up in price but Costco has the best price so far. That could change.
I went and got my glasses arms around the ear adjusted as they kept slipping, so far they are staying in place - I also has 11 letters to mail too.

Good Evening Everyone!
Today was a day of sleep and work. I hate sleeping till noon. Nothing gets done but needed the sleep. Maybe tomorrow will be more active as I can go to bed earlier than the last couple of nights. Work went well for the most part. By the time I got home Hubby was in a normal mood. Talk about a 180.0 -
@DNjoys ,, Dee really nice to see you here. Today I paid $6.19 for 12 dozen of eggs I was floored. We are being told they will be $10 soon. I did exactly what you just did so I'm kind of giggling over here I did Google how to bake without eggs and it does very very greatly on what it is you are making. But it's also doable I'm probably going to go that route soon. There are time that I eat egg but not that many so I really won't miss them. I'm sure other items will also start to go up ridiculously high then we'll have to make our choices. I can afford the egg but I don't want to I just don't want to.
@Kurtize,, The road has many twists and turns, some dips and bumps. Some places we wish we never went, but some very gorgeous places we've seen that just depend on what we choose to dwell on.
@Lindiemaep,,, pictures really pretty look at that deep blue sky and a cross the Ravens. Very nicely done. I did watch the introduction and I'm now going to the reading slowly and doing some research on part of it but not all of it cuz it's just way too much. My chicken was awesome It was so good! I will absolutely make it again. I hope your glasses work for you and that you adjustment. Is done. I still have to go like every 6 months to have mine done because I'm better for him. But they're so cute I don't mind. It does help that I can drive there I get there and come right back home If I had to take a bus it would be two busted and take me at least 3 hours. No thank you. This way I'm home in an hour. Those bears are so adorable look at the fun they have That's what we should each find something that we enjoy everyday no matter how big or small.

I hope you are all doing well. Today is going to be a good day. I work both jobs. One from 8 to 5 and the other from 530 to 10. We will see how things go. I hope I like it. It is my new second job and I am nervous. I think I will be fine. I mean after all it is only fast food. It cannot be that hard. Just be nice to the customer and that is all. I will probably be doing a lot of videos today too.
@LindieMaeP - Thank you for that video. I need it. My underarm flab is horrible. That is true. If I don't like the job I can just quit. I probably won't. I need the job and I will probably work until the wedding and then quit
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Yes it is easier than the office politics. I am glad too. Hopefully this job will be good. Who knows.

@Tabatha_Cain,,, IT'll be a longggg day that's for sure!! Likely tonight you'll sleep amazing!! LOL Office politics is always interesting especially if someone throws a monkey into the wrench!! OH MY!! Seems MOST offices (Larger ones) ALWAYS have that "ONE" person. I am sure the fast food will go fine, it may be a little confusing at first if you've not done that type of work. But, you'll be fine, you are a smart cookie. HAVE FUN at both jobs. Looking forward to hearing your experience. I've worked retail and at that ONLY for the grocery store chain I had worked at (I saw HR the other day and was informed "if you feel better we'll take you back without an interview!" Awww Awwww Awwww!), I've not done fast food. Customers 99% are very good, it's that small 1% and at that it's always my goal to take them from a 10 down to a 1, to get them to say "THANK YOU" but the drunk ones? Well yeah most of them I can get to giggling even when not serving them booze. That was a simple "You seem like such a nice person, I see you bought spaghetti. What type of sauce are you using? " As I'd tuck their booze under the counter. Of course they'd notice "HEY!! MY BEER!" "Oh yes though beer can easily go with spaghetti, we care to much about you so tonight I'll not sell this to you, but you come back in tomorrow, we'll very likely happily serve you." and continue to ask another question. LOL This works very often.3

good afternoon everyone! it is a mostly cloudy day here today, with some rain later this afternoon. my daughter says hi to all. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i went for a short run earlier this morning and i really enjoyed it. i went for a walk a while ago and i feel great! i will be doing some dancing later on. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.1

Good afternoon everyone, it's a dreary wet world out there today but I am in side nice and toasty and warm - maybe a little too warm and my window in my room is wide open and I feel the breeeze LOL The oven has been fixed so I am back in business - I was going to put a foil cover for the bottom of the oven, but it's too big and I do not want to cut foil, it could hurt someone. The repair man said I could use it as long as it does not raise the coil to high or touch the coil - well - I tried folding it down but the corners... raise it up ... I'll figure out something at some point, I might just say forget it .. Now I am relaxing for a bit.
@Dianedoessmiles1 our eggs were not that expensive, Gene got a flat from Walmart and then we separate and date them. I just boiled 10 for him as he likes to have a boiled egg or two with his dinner. So they are cooling off and will go into the fridge. I wound up making the poorman's stirfry last night and Gene took some to work. So that leaves me 3 for meals - but I have lots made. This weekend I want to make some Alfredo with the thin noodle and chicken and maybe a small amount of broccoli but not as much as I did with the other. I used to work in Woolworths way back when and I remember once this drunk came in to buy listerine to drink, I told him I was not selling him that and he whipped the bottle at my head, I ducked and presssed the buzzer for assistance and he left the store. Glad I do not work there anymore ... I've also worked at KF turned out the manager was stealing from the company and it got closed down. Once someone dropped a tray of chicken and he made the employee pick it up and put it for sale - once also someone returned their chicken saying it was not cooked and he put it back for sale too. Ahh glad I no longer work there, OR buy there, lots of things that go on in fast food places AND once my girls were at an expensive restaurant, and the B cake came out with a cockroach on it !!! Fancy that eh !! LOL wasn't my cake was not there. So glad to be retired !!!
@Tabatha_Cain I am sure you will do well, and you will make your mark there long enough for your purpose. Your welcome, I need to do that video too !! I am doing resistance training every other day for about 1/2 hour - I have one lbs weights I am using too. Sometimes I walk around with them in my hands too.

I have no comments about eggs, so I can't egg you all on. Hearing about the prices is eggasperating. As you read this, you'll probably be saying, "She is too tired tonight." And, I am. Took down Christmas decorations at the house today. Then made spaghetti for everyone for dinner. Was a good evening together but I am through for the day.

Good Evening Everyone!
Today was another off day. The weather just is not encouraging me to get up and move before it's time to go to work. 3 more shifts. There was a lot of tension in the dining room tonight between residents. I don't know what's going on with them tonight. My friend showed up around 5:30 and helped us so we were out by 6pm. Hung at her house for a bit. She was kind enough to do some laundry for me as I was running out of uniforms and haven't gotten them done. There was no leftovers from work for dinner as we had a full house. So we ordered Wendy's on Hubbies request.1 -

@Lindiemaep ,,, ENJOY the eggs!! They say it was the bird flu, but if that was REALLY it ,, this would of happened a bit ago, when it was at it's worse. Eggs do not keep. Any excuse to squeeze people more. LOL I saw on the News something about a candy store "having to raise it's prices" my thought was "Candy is a luxury, many just won't buy it." then I SMILED because years ago those words NEVER would come out my lips!! OH MANY it's best NOT to know what goes on behind MANY places that deal with the consumer!! Fast food, retail, manufactures, and SO ON!! Ewww!
@Cseguin2 ,, Hopefully the sun will be soon for you. I have 2 friends who live in Northern CA,,, today they saw the sun for the first time in one of them said 20 days. Tomorrow another storm coming in. I hope the residents are okay on Friday and it's the normal or better when you are there. Most look forward to food a lot. Hope it goes well over the next 3 weeks.

@Dianedoessmiles1 any excuse these days to raise prices, it's all greed - I remember when you could buy a rotissieri chicken - whole one for 4.99 at Safway then the bird flue hit and that was about 10 years ago so this is not new with the chicken industry - no doubt over crowding etc, which is why I try to buy organic free range when I can - look at @KatieCondy1's chickens when they lay I bet they are marvelous eggs!! Cause they got a bit of freedom and not caged. Anyway I read Isaiah30 - then did some research along the way, very interesting indeed. GEne will be home soon so I gotta go get the dishes done AGAIN...well at least the stove is fixed and I can cook if I want. The flooding in CA is sad indeed, but we have had that in our area too and expect it again. That one picture i posted of mountains around the first week of Januay, I was actually standing on a dike!!
@Cseguin2 I would think the weather might be affecting the residents as well and maybe a little more. Oh how I do not miss those grey skies and cold and nasty weather, course then I moved to BC and did nothing but rain the first few years I was here, lol I thought, I can't win !! But eventually I got used to it. Hope you enjoyed your Wendy's - I like their chili !3 -

I hope you are doing well this morning. Today is Friday. One more day working both jobs. Saturday we are staying home and not really doing anything. Joe works Saturday and I am going to my Mom's to work on the men's flowers. We have to figure something out. I am excited. I really am. I want to get it all done. I am excited to get married. I am super tired from last night. I was on my feet the whole night and I am tired. I am hoping that doesn't keep happening.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - It was pretty good last night. I am definitely tired. I drink lots of water at work so all night long I was getting up to go to the bathroom. Fast food is not all bad. I am learning quick.
@LindieMaeP - I need to do something. I have bad underarm flab.
@NovemberGail - Way to go on getting the Christmas Decorations down.
@CSEGUIN2 - Sounds like you have a lot going on. I hope you have a good last couple of days

@Tabatha_Cain ,,,Oh I knew they'd LOVE YOU RIGHT OFF!! You are a very hard worker, and an easy going person. Those are the qualities I looked for when hiring for the grocery store (I did HR for a little bit when our regular HR was out on maternity leave). I LOVED hiring people! It was so much fun!!

bwahahahahahahahaha you have all the snow you want, I am happy it's no where near me but on the mountains. We have rain now, don't gotta shovel it but sure might need a boat in some parts that may have flood and there is an avelanch warning as well in the mountain areas.
Well it has been a good day and weight in tomorrow - what it says it will say and I will go from there. Looking forward to the water challenge too 8 glasses should not be hard to do as long as I don't do them in the EVENING but spaced OUT lol too funny eh
@Tabatha_Cain you might want to invest in some good nurses shoes if you are going to be on your feet all night, or more then you anticipated. Enjoy your day at your mom's doing your flowers. When my neice got married, she made her own bouquet and it was very nice. They gave all the guests a bottle of white and red wine and they had a picture of the bride on one and a picture of the groom on the other. He rode his dirtbike up to the side of the makeshift alter where they were married - in their back yard. - they have lake front property so it was very nice. I know you will have a good time with all your arrangements!

Good Evening Everyone!
Flurries on and off. Today was another sleep most of the morning kind of day. Probably because I chose to read in bed instead of getting up and doing something. Did get a few dishes washed and some laundry done before I had to get ready for work. Work went well. Residents were all well behaved. Glad I am able to wing things and be flexible. Planned dinner for the residents was a little short in the protein department. Ended up having to have 3 different things: veal, hamburger patties and fish burgers. They also had pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, beef gravy, cream of mushroom soup, scalloped potatoes, green beans, fruit cocktail and pineapple upside down cake. They ate well tonight.2 -

@Dianedoessmiles1: I can't believe how greedy you are and how selfish some people can be. Shocking!!! You want everyone's share of the snow and no one is giving you any. Terrible!!! I wish I could be generous and send you the cold and snow but right now we only have cold.
It was a good day and got quite a bit accomplished. Went a little overboard on the calories tonight. I've finally learned how to make really good pancakes with lots of cinnamon and a dash of vanilla. And I've yet to figure out how to just make a wee batch.
Tomorrow's word is responsibility.

@NovemberGail ,,, LOLOL GOOD THING GF I was not drinking water when I read your post!! I'd of SPIT IT CLEAR ACROSS the floor, OVAH Izzy's head, and who knows where else!! LOLOLOL TY TY TY TY!! BUT SURELY someone WANTS to give me some snow??? Huh??? ANYONE tired of it? Oh my oh my. Today we did hit 50 of course since it was raining!! Even the weatherman called it a "Wash" tonight. LOL When they give up on our getting snow ,, well I did laugh.

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today I think my Mom wants me to come over in the afternoon to work on the flowers for the wedding. I really want to but I also want to spend time with my fiance. I have not seen him much in the last couple of days. Although I am going to have all week to spend time with him.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I just love helping people. I am a service worker at heart. I like physical work too. Anything to get my heart going.
@LindieMaeP - I love working on my flower arrangements. I still have more to get done but we will get there.
@CSEGUIN2 - I sometimes want to laze in bed some mornings. I don't though. All that food sounds good.
@NovemberGail - Thank you. I am super excited to get this wedding paid for. I love the idea of doing it all. I think some things need to be paid for before any other. We do have to start paying down the venue.

Good morning had a good weigh in this morning and am drinking my first 16 ounces of water ! It's almost gone lol and then onto the next 16 ounces ! I hope you all are having a good weekend and relaxing or doing something you have been planning to do.
@Dianedoessmiles1 one must be careful to say it and not spray it eh !! good thing you held in that water !! Meeting this morning so I'll be off soon getting ready just have to go record my breakie !
@Tabatha_Cain hard to find time for folks when you have so much to do, but your an organized person, so you will be able to organzie your time to your advantage. Enjoy your flower creations with your mom. You might want to plan a "date night" with Joe once a week, I know other couples do this.

Some men hate doing that stuff, others do not mind it at all and once they see the progress started they find themselves AMAZED how much they enjoyed it. Hope you had a great day! I too, love working hard, with my hands, and feet!! BURN THOSE CALORIES OFF OFF OFF!! Oh I MISS WORKING at the store!
@Patti241,, I feel coldish today. I've already turned the heat up (but yesterday I had it mostly OFF since it hit 50!). We had icy roads earlier on. It's currently 33. STILL NO SNOW!!
@Coermierannie,, Do you enjoy a warm bath? I'd say HOT bath, but mine now need to be cooler ones. Grrr it makes my heart race so hard if it's hot, but I still enjoy them. That's how I am going to relax in a bit! Once I hit a few chats
@Lindiemaep ,,, TY TY TY for the pics of Vancouver!! Hey on Monday (WELL I HOPE we land on Monday!) will we see those flowers all around the place outside in parks etc? Giggle giggle, I know it's cold there also. I did run late this AM and joined the group online (NO ONE Did D2D! It was to icy! Now it's stopped so more are out and about) at 10:45 and stayed til 12:10 though didn't count that all. We got to giggling something nicely!! LOLOL We grabbed a different breakout room so we'd not distract others.3 -

Want to change your food tracker categories? Here's how: I am now tracking calories(This is the only one it insists on), carbs, fat, protein, sodium, and sugar. You can pick from many choices. When on your food diary click on "SETTINGS" on darker blue bar Next you'll see Food and Exercise Diary Settings under those you'll see a list of what you have now, these have arrows, click on those and an ENTIRE LIST will come up. You can do this for 5 of the options you may prefer YW!

Good afternoon everyone, it's a beauitiful day here in BC coming to a close - the sun came out and dried up all the rain and it was so warm it was like spring out there when I was out. I was sweating bullets !!! I could have worn shorts and been ok !! But now the sun is setting a nice orange, one thing I like about my apartment I can see the sunset from my room. Rain is back tomorrow - 40% but if it holds off I'll take a trip to Queen Elizabeth park after service tomorrow and see what's blooming !
@Dianedoessmiles1 we have winter flowers that bloom so we always have flowers, but this week is rain, it's needed to fill the water sheds so we have water - over a million people depend on it! Had a beautiful public discourse this morning entitled Bible Principles Can They Help Us Cope With Today's Problems. I wrote down all the scripture including Col 2:8 which I am going to review and look up in the study bible. The WatchTower study afterwards oh was so good ! I hope you enjoy your meeting tomorrow. We only have a few on Zoom on WEDs and FRI the rest is D2D or other. We have a good time and get a lot accomplished. Thanks for posting about how to change the nutritional values you want to track. Some might not know how MFP works for that.
I got my 4 glasses of 16 oz of water, I am pretty sure that is enough for today and still had 2 coffees and 1 mocha as well. Plus tea later, I like a nice relaxing tea at night - could be why I do potty runs in the middle of the night LOL Now I have to go figure out dinner, I really would like chinese but doubt I will have that. Another time I guess.3
