Well, I guess the medicine and my work with a coach is definitely working.

I've lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks after I've been stuck at the same weight for quite some time.

I haven't felt hungry once in the past three weeks, even though I've eaten a whole lot less than I did before, especially my desire for snacking has gone down considerably.

I'm really liking my coach and how we focus on small changes every two weeks. The first two weeks we focused on my eating breakfast around the same time every day, which I tend to forget to do when I'm at work 😊
The last two weeks, though, I've been able to do so, by making a small change in what I eat.

I love eating, but I hate making food, so the next two weeks we are going to focus on making better choices when it comes to preparing my lunch, while still keeping it simple.

    To be continued 😊

Fantastic loss! Do you mind me asking what medication you are taking? Your progress with the medication and coach is inspiring. I asked my doctor about taking ozempic for weight loss. She is on board but two of my specialist have to give the go ahead.

I'm taking ozempic. I'm taking the smallest dose at the moment. I should move up to the next level next week, but because things are going so well, we decided to stay on the smallest dose for another two weeks.

In Denmark you have to have a BMI over 30 before they will approve ozempic for weight loss, but that was not a problem in my case.

I hope you get the go ahead from the two specialists.

I heard that one is ok yesterday. My rheumatologist is cautious so she may be the biggest hurdle.

    Nice loss!

Well today is the day that I find out if I need a 2nd foot surgery .... My 1st foot surgery was on 10/19 and my foot is still very painful .... I really think I will be having another one ...will find out this afternoon

2nd ankle/foot surgery is needed ... It is scheduled for 12/15 at 8am ...I swear it is never ending with me

Good luck with your surgery. It amazes me how short the wait is in the States for surgery and medical testing.

    Sleep 6.5 hours minimum
    Exercise 3 to 4 days

    Introduction
I am from Tulsa, OK and have moved temporarily to Colorado to help my son's girlfriend with her chemo for a rare type of ovarian cancer, small cell. Ony 500 people in the world are known to have this. Emotions have been a roller coaster but we are now in 2nd round of chemo and getting into a rythym. We drive an hour each was and for the next 20 days will be going to the hospital every day. My eating patterns are really off and I'm working to get back to more healthy choices.
On a positive note, I love CO and we are having our second weekend of a Christmas market with fresh breads, brats, desserts, etc literally within one block of me!! There is a beautiful lake a mile from here and I'm starting to walk around it on a regular basis - good for the soul and the body! I'm in a quaint little town that is just darling and this weekend I'm meeting someone to start volunteering at the local animal shelter.
My challenge is binge eating - trying to remind my self to only have healthy items in the house because binging on apples doesn't do the damage of sweets.

I have one dog who is here with me and she is having a lot of fun in the new surroundings.
I've learned I do best when I track daily because it brings awareness of what I eat.
Thanks everyone for sharing about yourselves, I'm enjoying reading everything and welcome to the new people!

Today I spoke with an Ayurvedic practioner and she is going to send me a packet of supplements which I'm hoping will help with cravings, motivation and lead to weight loss. She is going to address my hormone issues, too. I'm hopeful.

Hi, I used to have a really bad binge eating problem. This book changed the way I thought, helped me get things under control and lose 90lb. It's not for everyone but this approach really helped me .... never binge again by Glenn Livingston .. its free! Hope it helps
