Have any of you taken measurements to chart your progress?
@buniphuphu - I first measured myself last February, about 5 weeks after I made my lifestyle change. At first I measured myself about every 2 weeks but now I measure about once per month.
Since I started measuring I have lost a total of 36" combined. I only measure bust, waist, hips, thighs, and upper arms. The area where I have "shrunk" the most is my hips, where I've lost 10 inches. It's funny because I seem to lose inches in only one or two of these areas at a time.3 -
I hadn't been able to get ahold of my dad all day yesterday. So I went over there after work. He was fine. After some time searching thru his flip phone I found that his shaky fingers had somehow blocked me. We laughed. His new dog is settling in to her new home. In pure Dad form, he says "lets order pizza". He wasn't hungry but he didn't want me to be either. The new and improved cyndie said "I had a granola bar on the way here so I'm not really hungry."
Woe Wait What??? No to pizza? The new Cyndie is showing!!7 -
Yay to no pizza 👏😁1

Yes, and I will take inches over pounds any day. I know the scale did not move for me last week, but my pants feel a little looser. Just keep doing what you are doing and continue on your weight loss journey.3 -

Neck: -.25"
Waist: -4.5"
Hips: -2.25"
Bust: -1.5"
Thighs: -4" (2"x 2 legs)
Arms: -3" (1.5" x 2 arms)

I use the MeThreeSixy app which compares for you. I love it!2 -

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose dad still uses a flip phone.1 -
@cyndiesstuff so glad your Dad is okay. Just the phone is a good thing.1

I have been eating away stress and that shows. I even had some candy today which I had been able to avoid for a while. There is a reason. Last week I had a mammogram, followed but ultrasound and yes, they found something. I have biopsy tomorrow. Given that my mom died of breast cancer and she was first diagnosed at the age I am about right now - I am petrified. Trying to keep things as usual - kids don't know and I do not plan to tell them until I know for sure what's going on. They say - results by the end of the week.
When the crown decided to part with my tooth last Saturday, I couldn't help but laugh - seems like I'm falling apart! The dental problem got fixed yesterday so at least I can eat. I am not sure if that's such a blessing...
Anyway, I took my daughter for a hike on Sunday. I was good time. Steps for that day will be reported next week. Actually, I just realized that I went for a hike on Monday last week as well - MLK Day - I took my daughter and her friend on that day.

@MotylekOkruchy warmest wishes to you while you're waiting for the results 💗2

@MotylekOkruchy I will say a prayer for you
I had a good day yesterday. Below calorie goal, drank my water and got my steps in. Work was very busy. I like it when it is busy. Makes the day fly by. Yesterday I also left bites behind at breakfast and lunch. I find that when I start thinking that I may be full I usually am.
Today, I will take a walk after dinner. Doesn't have to be long. Just some movement after dinner.
What is one thing you will do today to further you to your goal?

It's not too cold here just now but I've finished work early, been shopping and am close to my step goal but don't want to go out again. I'll put on a walkxercise video to get more steps and do some stretch and tone exercises at the same time. I only had fruit and nuts at lunchtime because I wasn't hungry and I'd bought some Greek food for tonight's dinner, which will be high in calories.4

WOOT! We broke 2.5 Million Steps even with one less stepper than last week. I have no doubt 3 Million Steps by the end of the month! How exciting!
Sorry it is so late--I'm having a fight with my computer. I wish I could say I won...but I'm afraid I didn't. But I got this done!4 -
Good Morning Team Weight No More. Yesterday I was hungry more then usual. I consumed 1647 calories. My goal is 1350 calories. Average calories burnt by my body every day is 1800. So still less but not at goal. I am excited to see the number tomorrow. I hope it reflects my consistency. It snowed here yesterday. We probably got 10 inches of the white stuff. Was a tough ride home from work with near white out conditions. I did take my walk after dinner yesterday. Just 10 minutes but it was 10 minutes that I was not sitting on the couch.6

I ended up only doing enough exercise to get my step goal yesterday. I'd caught a sneezy cold and, although it's not bad, I just felt chilled down so I rested instead of pushing myself. I also went way over my calories. My husband bought After Eights and shortbread and we scoffed them. That rocketed my calories to 2222!
I decided to work from home today and hope I'll still get my step goal. The numbers haven't been as good for me this week.4 -

Can I get put on the maintenance team please? I just havnt had the oomph to lose weight but I don’t want to gain weight, either. I need a time out. My labs r so good right now I’m okay being at this weight for awhile. We have 7 birthdays coming up plus Valentine’s Day and I will consider it a win if I maintain for now plus I’m mentally not into losing weight right now but I certainly don’t want to gain. Thank you😊4
