@DrewsAnna Adulting sucks doesn't it?! I'm curious how you like the salmon bowls, I've had her Sweet and Spicy Salmon and Parmesan salmon and both were amazing.

@FtoFit Oh no, I'm hoping you're feeling better soon!

@trooworld OMG that recipe looks incredible! I've never even heard of that wine, I hope the recipe comes out well. I don't know enough about beef and Chinese food to know how to switch it up without losing flavor but I'm sure you do with all the great recipes you make. I love the progress meme, there's so many times people think they're doing something wrong when it's really just the way it goes. At one point I'd gained 5lbs eating 1200 calories working out every day and it didn't budge for a month, yeah do that math which makes no sense!! This group thankfully kept me sane through that as if I'd been on my own I would've given up.

@JenAWhite Haha love your new emoji skill! That stinks, I'm sorry to hear of the changes.

@Tamevv Way to go, good planning!

Hey there team, hope you all had a great Friday! I tried to squeeze in my workout before the FBF greenhouse and got a text about skipping the greenhouse today so I had more than enough time to get everything done. Mostly did stuff for the charity today like last night's minutes, submitting a request on the project we want to do for the town's Big Day of Service where we all volunteer for community projects, then called the pain clinic to yell at them about my MRI approval going on 4 months of waiting for approval. I actually thought it started in December but it was November, the woman I talked to felt bad I'd fallen through the cracks (should be my middle name) and said she'd do it next. It's hard to plan anyhing as obviously anything that could mean less pain comes first in my life so without things moving I can't commit to lead projects from May on until I get the spinal cord stimulator trial over with and see if I'm getting one permanently. I was supposedly called by the border police saying they had a package of cocaine with ID cards of me and a bunch of money and gave me a bunch of fake ID numbers and case codes then when he wanted me to talk with his supervisor I decided I didn't buy it and hung up. If I don't come back on here Monday I'm in jail! Seriously there is a scam like this going around so be careful. Tomorrow's my Days of our Lives Day Players concert so I'm going to the farm for a bit then will be on my way. Sunday I'll be at my parent's so I'll see you all on Monday, have a great weekend!

    No Zeros
Ate under calories and healthy food
    great water
chair cardio, strength training, abs, and stretching

@Katmary71 regarding the yoga, it was a beginner video on GymRa-something on our Apple TV or Roku. Basically YouTube fitness.
I’ve gotten sick now, so not eating as much as usual or moving as much. Still take the dog out every night. He’d make me go no matter what or I don’t hear the end of it from him. I guess he’s a good motivator. Hopefully after a good sleep, I’ll feel better.
Enjoy your weekend. We get a long weekend here!!

@JenAWhite I just downloaded Stridekick and sent you a friends request. My username is: LibraryGoddess! Always good to know how to do that emoji! LOL :)

@Tamevv Congrats on the loss. That was good planning ahead, skipping breakfast in order to enjoy lunch. I may do that today!

@Katmary71 Yeah that wine is very common in Asian cooking but not so common in grocery stores. I have to get it at an Asian market. You can use dry sherry in place of it, which is what we had to do last night since we were out of the Chinese wine. It was soooooo good! Yes about the meme. No, that math makes no sense lol. I'm glad you didn't give up! That's ridiculous that you still haven't gotten your MRI approval. That sounds like a bunch of BS, that call. I'm glad you hung up. Have a great weekend, great no zeros!!!

@sleepygirl79 I hope you feel better.

@tammymccrady6278 Busy work weeks are always challenging, especially to get water in. I hope you have a relaxing weekend!

@Cornanda Ooh I hate when that happens. No, scale math sometimes doesn't make sense. You just have to stay committed to the game. Hugs.

Hi all. I joined Stridekick app as well. My username is LibraryGoddess if anyone wants to be friends on there. I have a very busy day today. I am getting groceries, dropping off our dog to go under anesthesia at the vets for teeth cleaning and x-rays, going for a walk with a friend, and then going for Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup with the same friend. I can't wait to see her, she moved to Nebraska in November/December and just moved back here. I've missed her dearly. My husband and I may do some artwork tonight.

MY NO-ZERO DAY WIN FROM YESTERDAY: I tracked 90% of what I ate yesterday, I had a healthy breakfast, and I had a smaller-than-normal portion of dinner.

    Good Morning!

So, I finally read the last 2 weeks of posts. I will hopefully figure out how to manage my time better in the mornings to get on here. There is so much interaction between every one.

I have been somewhat slacking with my weight loss. This past week I did not log anything. I was doing so good with all of it until about the middle of the 2nd week. I started slacking with the logging of water and food. Then I started the let's eat out thing. Boy was that a mistake. I have felt so bloated and can only pray the scale will be nice to me tomorrow.

Today it the last day of our 3 day cold snap. So, tomorrow Diesel and I are going to get back into walking.
I have sent out some friends request for MFP and would love to have any of you that are looking for friends to add me. I also down loaded Stridekick and need friends my username is Txcritter.

@FushiaKat - Those are my favorite nuts!!! So good! When I was doing Keto, Sahale would be my splurge 😂

@Cornanda - Gus and his stuffed toy sound adorable. That’s exactly how my progress is, try so hard and lose nothing, slip up and still lose 😂 think I can do that again the next week and gain triple! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@sleepygirl79 - I’ve been throwing around the idea of starting yoga for a long time now. I know I will like it once I get moving and stretched out lol trying to talk my daughter into a Bungee HIIT class.

@JenAWhite - I’m going to look into that Stridekick, I need more motivational friends for exercise!

Life is still bonkers but I have ramped up my workouts. Logging is still a struggle. My daughter is bowing out of working out with me at the gym so I’ve gone back to my Beachbody favorites. Trying to run more in between lifting. I ran 3 miles on Valentine’s Day and my time was pretty great! Thursday I sprinted up the hill in my moms pasture and walked down, 4 times…I needed to do more but it was so cold that day so I’ve been going to the gym late at night for peace and quiet lol!

The urge to go out, hang with friends/make new friends is getting unbearable. Hopefully starting work will help. I wish I lived closer to any of you…..

Opened the Stridekick app and already added @JenAWhite and @trooworld
Because all I need is another group to try to keep up with 😂😂😂 if my Watch is involved I’ll do much better! 😉 Y’all add me so I keep my motivation going!!!!

@shaunarlr83 - I saw you on Stridekick! I added a few others from here! I laughed when I read your comment about you of course needing another app to help!! That is me exactly! So many apps, but it helps!! @Cornanda - these apps have fun step, mile or minute challenges that last a few days to a few weeks. I have been competing with a group of ladies from an old employer for about three years. Every week and weekend, I get an invite to compete in a highest step challenge. My favorite is BINGO from FitBit Premium, as it factors in minutes, miles, steps and a little luck! I hope to see you on Stridekick @Cornanda!
@txcritter69 and @19shmoo69 and @trooworld thanks for the Stridekick add. Now I'll try to send a challenge. I also kind of liked that they have large group challenges also - kind of like Strava (Yes, @shaunarlr1983 another app I'm using to motivate myself. LOL)

@tammymccrady6278 - glad your challenging hard week is over. Nice job on your step goal, logging, and self quotes during it all. Your Canadian "Family Day" Holiday on Monday sounds fantastic. I'm jealous. Enjoy!!

I sent out a Stridekick challenge to the four other Mission Slimpossibles and chose the Tokyo theme in honor of @19shmoo69 time as a child in Japan! Let me know if anyone who wants to participate can't see it.

@sleepygirl79 I hope you feel better fast!

@tammymccrady6278 Sounds like you've been doing everything right but amount of water which is a successful week to me, way to go!

@Cornanda That's so frustrating when you're thinking you did well and didn't do as good as you thought. LOL no it doesn't make sense, some people say if you're stuck to have a cheat day which doesn't make a lot of sense according to the data but seems to have worked for you and has for me before too .

@trooworld I absolutely adore your Stridekick name! I'm so glad your friend moved back, have a wonderful time with her!

@txcritter69 You're always welcome to drop in and say hi in here even if you don't have much time, we're always happy to hear from you. Eating out definitely complicates things with logging and eating healthy! I hope you and Diesel have a wonderful walk tomorrow.

@shaunarlr83 You have some tough and challenging workouts, you're doing amazing! I hope work helps too, I'd love for us all to live near each other! Have you checked out Meetup and local groups on Facebook? You may find some fun things to do through those. I was looking for some way to volunteer and found places through local Facebook groups for my area and have made some new friends that way.

Hi team! I got back earlier than I thought I would from the Days of Our Lives Day Players, lots of funny soap opera talk which I was able to keep up with despite having stopped watching a few years ago. Ate/drank too much but I expected it so it's ok. We're starting to get more groups coming to the farm now that things are more organized and online which is great, I weeded the garlic then came home and got ready to go so I wasn't there for too long. Tomorrow my brother's family and I are going to my parents for dinner so it will be another challenging day. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

    No Zero Days
    great water
chose ice tea before the show instead of french fries
lifted weights, did ab challenge, some chair cardio, and about 70 minutes at the farm

Broke the 2 week plateau 🎉 and the mid week gain.

What I changed…I started cycling and a bit of pilates. I try to do it early in the day to get it done.

@Katmary71, so glad you enjoyed your night out. I have a question about sweet potatoes. We found some in the ground that were probably from 2 years ago and they were tiny. We had a good laugh. We can’t get them to grow to more than a small dill pickle size. Enjoy dinner at your parents 🥰

@txcritter69 I sent you a request, I also would love more friends here. I hope your week goes great. Back on track and some great walks.

@JenAWhite Is it too late to join the group challenge on stridekick? I need to join. I need anything that makes it fun to keep going.

@shaunarlr83 wouldn’t it be great to live nearby. I have a great group of friends but everyone is busy with their kids, grandkids and work. So we don’t get together like the old days. It would be fun to have you all to gather with and stay on track. Most of all my local gatherings are centered around food.

    No zeros

    Weeded out some storage boxes
Working on the steps with purpose
Started cycling, which is hard but worth it
Working on making some sweets that are more “plan friendly”.

    Tips: (I’m working on still)

Weighing my food helps learn portion sizes.
Walking circles in my kitchen while i cook.
Creating and pre-logging (if I remember) daily menu to know my calories and stick to it.
Sticking to the same breakfast and snacks, so I don’t have to think too much. (For a week give or take)

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 to those who had a loss at weigh-in yesterday and those who are sticking with it.

@AmbersWay - I haven't really figured all of Stridetrick out, but I just accepted you as a friend and invited you to challenge. I think I put this first challenge for 4 or 5 days. 25 miles. I think miles is slower feeling than steps. We should try out steps maybe next time. There is a chat. I'll try to put the link. I'll watch for you.https://link.stridekick.com/join?groupCode=KXYZZZ

@txcritter69 I know it is a lot to keep up with, feel free to skip some of the conversations if you find it overwhelming! It's easy to slack off on tracking and then have a hard time getting back at it. I'm in that position since getting back from my work trip. I sent you a request on Stridekick! :D

@shaunarlr83 I'm glad you didn't give up when your daughter stopped going to the gym. Yay, you! You are doing great. That would be awesome to live close to each other. I get the urge to hang out. Hopefully, you are right and working will help. LOL about the Stridekick app!

    @digger61 @gemwolf110 @txcritter69 Congrats on the losses!

@Katmary71 Thank you! I would have added "619" (my area code) but it didn't allow me to have such a long username lol. Thank you, it was nice to see her! Your Days of Our Lives Day Players event sounded fun. I used to watch Young and the Restless with my mom. I wish you luck at the family dinner today. Great job resisting those fries!!!

@AmbersWay Woo hoo congrats on breaking the plateau and gain! You are doing awesome!!! If you find some sweets recipes that are good, please share!

@megnolia82 Congrats on the loss, I'm sorry you are in a relapse. I hope the visit to the clinic can help.

Ugh I need to drink more water! I only drank what I drank at the restaurant. The rest was COFFEE (does that make you happy, @19shmoo69?). I drank so much coffee lol. I did have fun with my friend up to the point that I got a call from the vet that was doing the work on Daisy. She has a lot of fluid in her lungs and they aren't sure why. We will do everything to find the cause and correct it. I'm so thankful I got pet insurance for her! If anyone wants a slightly naughty but really easy dinner, I made this last night and made it super easy by using pre-seasoned chicken: https://www.thecookierookie.com/baked-spicy-chicken-tacos/ Both my husband and I really enjoyed it. Just be sure to get as much liquid out of the chicken as possible and follow directions so your tacos aren't soggy.

MY NO-ZERO DAY WIN FROM YESTERDAY: I skipped breakfast in lieu of a nice lunch, I had a smaller-than-normal portion of dinner, and when I didn't track yesterday I went back and tracked it all today.

My phrase for the year: "Every choice is another chance to change my health for the better."
