Thursday-0. Although the weather will be picture perfect...75 and not a cloud in the sky, this kind of weather usually calls for some kind of freshing beverage. BUT if I have a drink I won't get my newest delicious dessert addicition....honey graham crackers with chunky peanut butter, YUM!!!!! We shall see how it goes

Holy hell. I officially suck at working when I'm this hungover. Note to self: Don't ever do this again. I went to the sick room for 15 minutes to try and nap (unsuccessfully) and am not ruling out the possibility of doing it agian.

I love that they have a sick room....as opposed to going home if your sick...LOL

No fondue tonight because I couldn't skate out of work early...I'll count a zero although I don't have to work tomorrow and I could easily be swayed.

Vodka. lots. I will say it is because I am stressing about Brie and her being ready to pop. I know she will be fine, but what kind of mother would I be if I didn't worry about my baby having a baby. I wish I was closer to her and there to support her. Oh well, she has lots of others around her. Especially Olivia whose little world is about to be really shaken up. So since no baby yet I will probably stress drink again tonight.

good job on all the zeros.

The only thing that happens in the sick room is breast pumping and strangely enough one of the IT guys and also one of the engineers take naps on the reg. (Not together). I totally went and laid down for 12 more minutes. I feel much better.

    2.....more.......hours.......

Had a zero last night but then had a restless night of sleep. Up at 4:30 am.

Nothing worse than hungover and at work. Except the one time I had a norovirus at work and spent the night puking... and praying for no calls. Was too sick to go home until morning.

I'm still reeling from the 8 hour drive home with that stomach virus I had...ever try to get through the central California valley when you're sick as a rabid dog? Nothing but farm lands for HOURS. It's hell even when you're feeling good. :noway:

I'm debating on some red wine with the pasta and homemade sauce that's been simmering on my stove all day. I don't usually do red wine in the summer...but it's cooled down here to the low 70's :drinker:

    p.s. I am clearly self-absorbed

Rebel, did you write the email? Hope the cocktails helped!!

Robin, you're so funny...you're babies will be fine...your right about Olivia

Kate, I must have missed the BEERFEST and knee story. I didn't realize it happened there. Have one for me, I love beer.

Kangaroo - pink bubbly sounds de-lish :drinker: :drinker:

Gary - hubs is going alcohol-free this week and was up yesterday about the same time. The benefit is, he made a nice breakfast for the boys and I.

Hmmmmm, ended getting out of work at 5:30 and make it to the "Girls Night Out" - Painted a wine glass and bought some Fanel (Fake Channel), ate fondue and pasta.

Why is it that I think I can go out and only drink 2 glasses of wine? Thursday - 5

This sounds like someone I know...... I've been to the hospital on 3 drunken related injuries: stitches in butt (tripped and landed on cedar log...ouch), fractured skull (one week before my first wedding at a work golf scramble - fell off cart), and staples in head (slipped and fell off porch onto driveway). Luckily it's been years since my hospital trips. I think I've actually toned it down quite a bit if you can believe it. My friends always joke and tell me to put my helmet on when I get too drunk.

I remember that, kate. I can't believe it's been a year either. You've been such a trooper with that knee!

I had 2 glasses of red wine with my awesome pasta. I slept so, so. You know you've been away from alcohol too long when you sleep better without it!

Probably some more of the red i opened last night, tonight. :drinker: everybody!

I can relate with drunken injuries, I'm currently recovering from one myself!! Both knees busted & hurt big toe! So thankful I didn't break anything. LOL. Back to working out on Monday!! Glad others can relate to drunk injuries.

I've had all 0's this week & had a tiny bit of the flu yesterday....still not decided whether or not I really want to drink anything tonight. BUT, I probably will!!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday!!

OMG, you guys are funny with your injury stories...

I just signed up for the 5K Ugly Sweater Run on November 30th...I am sure it will be cold given the summer we've had...I don't really have an ugly sweater but I am sure to find one at the good will
