I've been very stressed out. The local fire starters and people staying transiently next door are mad I called the fire department and they've been watching me, it's been tense. Going to change up my routine. Install more security. Anyone with a dog I can borrow? :-P.
Today though I'm going to leave town and hang out with my kids! I gotten lighten up, wish I was sleeping better. I have focal epilepsy and this stress is not helping...and I started drinking coffee again. DOH! I get so mad at myself for not keeping better habits.
Oh' I took a few photos for y'all yesterday!
Ship wreck, I think this dates to 1904 or 1906, it's the Peter Iredale. I took my walk out there yesterday and it was really pleasant out.
Afternoon bike ride. Next time I'll photograph the Roosevelt Elk. Some ol' girls got in our way and we ended up backtracking instead of trying to shoo them. They were on either side of the trail and making a pinch point, and we couldn't tell how many were there if it was the entire herd or a few stragglers.

I got back home late last night and managed to only gain 1/2 pound over my trips over the last 10 days. However, I have to go back to Houston on Wednesday. My mom is getting a knee replacement on Thursday and my parents will need some help. Hoping to only be there a few days. I'm homesick. I had a wonderful trip though! Saw monkeys on my morning runs! I'll post pictures when I get some time.6 -

So excited!! I dropped my calories this week to follow fitness pals recommendation. Previously I gave myself a 300 more because it was such a big jump from what I was eating I felt I needed to do it in increments. Lots of walking this week too!7 -
It's Texas Tech centennial year. Last night there was an event/concert in downtown Dallas. We had a great time.
@Sbus12 - Congrats on your loss this week. Sometimes it helps to mix things up.
@KHill875 - hope your knee gets to feeling better soon.
@Itadakimasu7 - Hope your stress levels are better.

My weigh-in is weird. I stepped on the scale yesterday out of curiosity and it was 222 lbs around 8 am. Today, I step on the scale to get my MFP number and was surprised to see it went up from yesterday. This past week I did indulge in junk food and did not exercise as planned. I work from home 3 days a week. The days I went into the office, they had the junk food - cupcakes, donuts, chips and dips. I'm working on the stress eating, self-control with temptation.7 -
This week I'm going to ween off of caffeine again, and do a lot better on my diet. I've made my plan. I really want to start posting weight loss.7
-
I'm feeling pooped after a couple hours in the sun on a bike trail. A friend of mine and I biked almost 8 miles today. I haven't been on the trails in I don't know how long - so happy to be pedaling on a new-to-me path!6

Saturday I went to the farmers market in Ilwaco (WA) with my kids. A lot of great artists and crafters over there. I was waiting for my kids on a bench and took this photo:
I have to retool how I'm approaching weight loss because I'm really floundering.

I am thrilled! I was seeing my weight creep upward during the week, and then we had a nice quick trip to Laughlin for bowling sweeps, so lots of time on the road, about 6 hrs each way. Not too many great food choices to choose from, but I navigated through, (also indulged some). Also helped that we brought some fruit, nuts and other good snacks with us. It was also very hot and humid, so I drank a ton of water. I truly appreciate the steps challenge, definitely encouraged me to get some extra steps in!8
