Hope everyone's week is starting out nicely. I finished my 46-mile intentional walking goal for May this morning. Very proud of that! The last two weeks have really escalated my walking routine and I'm SO enjoying it.
If anyone is struggling with nutrition, pop over to the group challenge and sign a nutrition contract, then just report in how it's going each day...questions are provided, so all you do is report in! Hope it helps!
Busy week at work...looking forward to next weekend's 3-day weekend!

One year ago, I couldn’t walk without a cane and was looking at wheelchairs (because the Statin I was taking was ripping up my muscles). Now, a year later, I’m closer to my goal weight and training to become a Jazzercise instructor!

Sorry to ask this again, but can you please double check your numbers? We had 233.8 as your previous weight. Did you really lose 10 pounds or is there a typo?2 -
So I wasn't planning to do more garden work, but I have a lot of flower seed mixes and the pond isn't going to happen this year. I also really dislike how messy the last bit of the backyard is, so I decided to go for a kind of flower meadow. There is still enough time to prepare the soil. The plan is to remove the top layer of grass and roots by the first of June. Then I will let it sit for 2 weeks so I can see if the weeds and stuff are all gone and put in the seeds around the 14th.
I started yesterday with trying to remove the stone edges. I don't know why the previous renters thought making a border out of concrete covered bricks was a good idea, but it is heavy as frick and a pain to remove. I will keep you all posted on how it goes. Some pictures under the spoiler. The area I marked in orange is what I plan to turn into a flower field. The last picture is the bit I dug up today.5 -

I took a few photos for everyone yesterday! We have Roosevelt Elk where I live in Oregon. These girls don't look their best because they're shedding their winter coats still, but they'll spiffy up soon.

Hi all! I just got back from a fun trip to NYC. I saw some fantastic Broadway shows (Wicked and NYNY..so good!) and walked around a bunch. It was really nice to get away.

Went into the office yesterday. First time since mid-February, what an ego boost having people comment on my new shape. Craig and I will be taking off to the lake on Thursday. It will just be the two of us as my son has to work. We are planning on shredding the roads at the ranch and maybe doing some dirt work, but it still should be fun.

Disappointed in myself, but must move on. We were away this weekend at the beach and possiblu had too much salt and no water. Need to get back on track this week and more cardio.

@Pupowl , the pw is correct and it water weight has finally come off and so has some of the swelling due to the weather changes Here. It affects me horrible5

I've been experiencing pain and other symptoms in my right foot. I decided to take my feet issues to a podiatrist; made an appt for next week. I dropped my car off at the mechanic and then planned on doing a walk/jog with my pup on the way home. We did a little jogging. It's frustrating because I need and want to increase my physical activity. Difficult to do that when I'm in pain and don't want to 'add insult to injury.'6 -

Okay, thanks for clarifying! That sounds awful, I hope the weather stays nice so the swelling won't come back. Must feel a lot better as well to get rid of all that water.3 -

Might be slow, but I have went down in my weight 3 weigh ins in a row now finally. I feel like I'm finally back in a good groove Eating a lot better, not working out like I used to but trying to at least 2 or 3 times a week. I am working 2 overnights a week now (3 the past couple weeks to cover open shifts) so that makes it hard for me to work out, also something is wrong with my foot. I'm nearly positive I have a stress fracture. I went to the doctor and the xray didn't show a fracture but 2/3s of stress fractures are missed in x-rays so it still could be there. What we did find was a mild taylors bunion (bunion on my little tow) but where my foot hurts does not fit with where bunions are suppose to hurt. I bought all the things they sell that are suppose to help, but nothing has, and by the end of my work week, I can hardly walk. I have a very high pain tolerance but this thing hurts pretty bad. So I'll have to go back and I guess see a specialist, in the mean time, my treadmill workout is very limited so I've been utilizing my spin bike for cardio.8 -
@pupowl, yes very much. And that is 1 of my favorite verses out of the Bible.3
