We made the trip to west texas with our little boat. We were able to launch it, pushing it in from the shore. Our dock is out of the water, so no tying it up there.
We went to our land again today to water the trees we planted. It is so dry down here, we really need the rain. And when we left, the truck said it was 104. We pick up Jason tomorrow afternoon. He took his last final today. He's excited about the boat, but not sure how it will work since he is still in a boot and on crutches.

@Cyncia85 - Beautiful pictures from your hike.
@frankbrown - love the meme you shared.
@SavageMrsMoose, @Sbus12, and @looneycatblue - Congrats for last weeks loss!!!

Seeing everyone's great results from the week has been very motivating. I renewed my gym membership today since cancelling at the start of the pandemic. Highlight of my day was slicing open a nice papaya. I'm terrible at picking good fruit but lucked out. Have a great week everyone.5

I had around 4,000 steps going into dinner and then that accountability to the partner step challenge and my own daily challenge surged in me and I went for a walk. 👏👏 seeing everyone’s steps is a great reminder to get out there and walk!

I have a gym membership that I need to use more often. Does anyone else struggle with paying for a gym membership and going or using it?
Is there a challenge we can do for going to the gym?3 -

We have a step challenge every month, so the one for May started on the 30th of April. If you would like to be added, please give us steps from the 30th of April until now and let us know what your daily step goal is, thank you!4 -
Good morning Shape Shifters. I went for a walk in the national park yesterday morning. It was very nice and I saw some fun things. I managed to get some nice pictures of a bird for the first time (common redstart). I have seen them before, but always very far away so I am glad I got them now. There was also a deer munching on a tree. It took a while before he noticed me and ran off. Pictures under the spoiler. Happy Tuesday everyone

Good morning!
Made it back from Florida on Sunday. We took I75 back this time. It was interesting to watch the changes in plants and soil over the drive.
Yesterday and today have been a little rough as I transition back to a low sugar diet. I made good choices for lunch but did indulge at supper.
I’ve put a few of our vacation photos in the spoiler.4 -
I took a few photos of our provincial flower the trillium this morning while out with my dog. I’ve shared them under the spoiler.10

I was doing so good all week. I was very busy Saturday cleaning the house. Sunday I sat on my Butt and read my book ALL day!
I also had wobbly pops with friends Friday night, so that did not help my weight loss this week at all.
I'm happy with my water and over all steps last week, I just need to watch my Calories more I guess
My goal this week is to report steps, and participate in this group daily, instead of twice a week. Have a great Tuesday everyone!6 -

I think having a plan of attack helps. I'm currently looking for a good functional fitness/strength program and looking at some reviews online. Reco's welcome. Looks like my gym has a new app with videos and workout plans so I'm not so lost, plus it tells me how busy the gym is.
A gym buddy is always good too.
I know there's a habit tracker worksheet you could use to track your gym.5 -

If not too late, can you fix this to show my weigh-ins as:
Sun, Apr 30: 178.0
Sun, May 7: 176.4
(if not, no worries, it will are work out at the end)

In the spirit of making time for myself and getting steps in, I decided to walk to my son’s track meet instead of driving. I normally would never walk bc busy busy busy but I figured…why not? I did a decent pace and had plenty of time to relax mentally.7

@looneycatblue We've already published it for the week. I can report it to the MODS and see if they want to update after the fact. I'll let you know.

I’m way behind catching up on the posts. It’s been crazy ever since I came back to Houston and I’m leaving tomorrow for my daughters graduation on Friday. I’m traveling with my parents because my mom is having walking issues… long story…

I’ve been using FitBod for a year and a half or so. You set your preferences and available equipment and it generates a workout for you based on muscle recovery and goals. My husband has started using it to. It’s not free but good. https://fitbod.app.link/0ctiBPIrsyb
