@jessicakrall8
Forgot earlier - my I be excused for the 5/13 weigh in? I’ll be attending my daughters graduation. Thanks!
@Jlswensen If you'd like to weigh in before you leave, just post it early and I'll update. Otherwise, it's been marked as EXC. Congrats on her graduation and enjoy the milestone day!

Thanks @nancyinmo and I'll put you in the spreadsheet. Thanks! I'm hoping for an active week for sure! Hope you popped into the chat thread in the group chat room and read the rules...we both have to post our steps daily or it doesn't count, so remember to pop in before you go to bed and do so each night. I'll make sure to do the same! Good luck!

Life seems to be evening out now, as much as it can I guess. I switched my schedule at work so I am home more, 2 of my kids switched their schooling methods so hoping that helps my stress. And now I'm back to counting calories hoping to workout a few times a week, but won't stress it if I end up working alone. Work is extremely short right now so I have been picking up a lot of shifts, and also staying late because there isn't anyone to work the evening shift, ugh. So I am going to do what I can when I can, and stick to my calories because even my fat clothes are too small right now but I guess the amount of stress I've been under, I'm thankful to only have gained a couple more pounds.8

@Jlswensen So cute! Looks like those deer were pretty close. Seeing any wildlife in the Netherlands is pretty rare, and deer are very skittish.3

Good morning Shape Shifters. Painters were all done here on Friday morning. I am glad that it only took them 1,5 days overall, so I had very little disruption. About an hour after they finished here, it started raining the rest of the day and then it was weekend of course so they don't work. My neighbours have a whole metal walkway stuck in front of their house for like 4 days now, so I am glad that's not me.
I went for a walk yesterday morning without looking at the weather. It looked nice so I decided to just go, but the other side of the sky was very dark. When I was back in front of my house it started raining, so I timed that well I guess! I am not really bothered by rain, but I had my expensive camera with me and no bag. My legs weren't sore at all this time from the barefoot shoes which was nice.
My new bee hotels have been filling up like crazy. A lot of tunnels have been closed already, I will put a picture of one of them in the spoiler. Happy Sunday everyone4 -

I started working in my old job in an office again after a 6 month break and realize it gives me a lot of (mostly emotional) stress. It was soooo hard to get at least a bit of weight off in the first place and now the weight is slowly creeping up again 🙁
I also find it extremely hard to find motivation to work out. I try to eat healthy, but it’s not easy and I think I still just eat too much.
But after every down comes an up again, right?
Being in this group certainly makes getting up and trying again easier than it was in the past.7 -
@Bumbinella Stress is horrible for your body too, so it might not even be your food. In any case, I would try to focus on one thing instead of struggling with two. Working out isn't needed to lose weight, so personally I would make food and tracking the priority! Also this is easy for me to say, but maybe look for a different job because this one doesn't sound very fun. Or maybe you can find a way to reduce the stress. Hang in there, you can do it.5

I did well during the week with calories and then I struggled on Friday when we went out and at a family party yesterday. On Friday, it was hard because we went to a Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo and I wanted the chips and the guac, etc. Yesterday, at the fam party they had a salad options and tons of fruits and veggies and I still went for pasta and had some cake. It’s all about making better choices. I recognize I could of made better choices and still been just as satisfied.
Today is a new day—every day is a fresh start. That’s the beauty of it, there’s no point to hold onto yesterdays choices. Enjoy your Sunday!6 -

@Sbus12 and @Zaxa2021 Our group challenge this week is a partner step challenge...one of Shape Shifter is waiting for a partner in the Group Challenge thread...I think the link is back on pg 9 if you're interested...both of you are walkers, so it might be a fun one for you. Come join us! Of course, I'll probably kick your booties, so there is that! LOL!

@angmarie28 You're going through a lot now with family stuff, work stuff and school stuff...show yourself some grace and do what you can. Every little thing helps, so one day at a time and one baby step at a time! Thinking of you...

@pupowl love your pics as always...I'm still your biggest fan! Tinus looks snug in his little house with the cat shaped doorway...love that. Where did you get the curled-up cat wooden statue on the top of his house? It's lovely.

@jessicakrall8
Thank you! It is a very tiny house, he has several bigger ones, but he likes squishing himself in that one sometimes. The wooden cat is maybe a bit morbid, but it is a urn. I figure that is something better too have to early so I bought it a while back when I had money. I also really like it, since it works as decoration too. I got it from amazon (this is the link).2 -
Weigh in day: Sunday May 7th
PW: 228.0
CW: 226.4
Finished my Spring II semester last night (Saturday)! Now the anticipation for final grades to be posted.
I'm off to mow the lawn and get some steps.5 -
@Pupowl -- oooh photos so pretty. I'm stealing the idea for a cat cubby and I always wondered if bees would actually use a bee house. With my luck in Oregon, bald face hornets would move in ;-P
I'm trying alternate day fasting starting today. I had reasonable results in November / December but fell off around my Birthday and gained it all back making up for lost time on my home made cookies.
My husband and I love to go out and get treat or stay in, watch 'red dot tv' (trashy shows I really get into like a cat and a red dot, think 90 Day Fiance, Skinwalker ranch, stuff I don't like to admit I watch, lol) and we'll snack. Laughing and having fun with a treat is a pretty good way to reinforce bad eating I guess. It might be the key to a happy marriage though come to think about it...I'm still crazy about him and it has been 16 years now. ;-P

@Cyncia85 what cell is showing the error you reported please? I'm not finding that anywhere on that person's stats line...sometimes I will tell you the spreadsheet gets wonky and you have to close out and go back into it and miraculously it will correct itself...please do that and let me know if you still see it and if so, which cell contains the error, (such a cell G14, etc).
Thanks!

@looneycatblue I was just checking because Sunday was the 30th, not the 28th. But you are all sorted now.
Oops! Thank you for fixing this!2 -

@looneycatblue I corrected the weigh in and have notified the MODS so they can update their notes before posting last week's results. Thanks for letting us know.
