@frankwbrown and @pedal__power awwsome steps!!
@bearchested and @ganival great weight loss! Way to stay consistent this week!’
Happy Friday everyone! 70s and sunny in Chicagoland! Love this weather! Makes me want to get out there and walk!
Yesterday I was low on steps and took an extra long walk and hit my 10,000! It’s been a long time since I have achieved almost a week of 10,000!
Continuing to meal plan and portion control. Stayed below my calorie goal this week too! Even if the scale isn’t nice of Monday, I know I’ve made positive changes!

It’s great to see everyone’s progress and commitment! Enjoy your weekends!3 -
@pedal__power thats a great idea, there are definitely meetings I don’t need to sit at my desk for and I can take those on the move!3

@Pupowl -- Your kitty looks like he needs a top hat and a monocle. He so fluffy and adorable. Painting sucks, been painting my house all last week inside, just some old walls though, nothing difficult like what you're having done.
I have an extra chair at my desk for our new kitties. They follow me around all day.
This week I've been very stressed out.
My ankle is still squishy - that joint might be in real trouble. Doctor appointment coming up. I'm cross training, hiking, walking, stationary bike and mountain bike. I miss running. That is how I used to deal with stress I guess, because without it I'm kinda a basket case.

@Itadakimasu7 Hope your ankle is okay. Totally get it about the running for stress relief. It keeps me sane. Nothing else comes close.
@bearchested - yup- back in Houston. I was able to finish my run on the treadmill but I really prefer being outdoors. I just got overheated. I’ll try again Sunday.3 -
@looneycatblue
Is your current weight from today? And what day would you like to weigh in for the group? Also if you know your highest weight, that would be nice as well.

@Itadakimasu7 I’m sorry to hear about your ankle! I know the stress when an injury derails you! I’ve had an intermittent foot issue that continues to return and it’s frustrating! I hope you get some answers and a good treatment plan for healing!3

@jessicakrall8 - before I forget- can I please be excused from the next two weeks weigh-in? Next Friday is my daughters graduation and then we are taking a mother/daughter trip before she starts studying for the bar!1

It was a good week with LOTS of exercise. Preparing for this Jazzercise audition in June has me exercising between 2 and 3 hours every day. My poor 61 year old body is sore in places I didn’t know existed lol. But it’s definitely helping on the scale. I can do this!!7 -

Hello! You can still squeeze in if you want. We just need your starting weight from last week and what day you would like to weigh in for the group. Also if you have a highest weight, feel free to share. I hope you will enjoy the group and please introduce yourself so we can get to know you a little!

Hello everyone,
I’m V, just turned 56 and teach fifth grade ELA. The majority of my time is normally spent going to meetings, working on some type of prep for my classes, or grading assignments. Letting work take priority and the stress of a nasty split from my partner of 10 years helped to push me to my heaviest of 285lbs.
Currently I’m the lead in our district’s ELA curriculum adoption team and it is a huge impact on my workout time and stress eating. However, my goals for May are to tighten up my exercise routine and water intake. I’m aiming to workout at least 5 times a week and drink at least 64 ounces of water daily.
Thanks for letting me join your group!8 -

I have a hard time believing that i really did take 28,000 steps in one day, but based on my struggle to just walk myself to bed that day. I must have walked that many steps. Sorry, I am late posting my son's birthday was yesterday and I was pretty busy.9 -

@KHill875 We've already announced our results from April, so couldn't record the 29th, but caught up the rest. Do you want to keep your 12k goal for May or change it? Let me know. Great steps so far for the month! Nice loss this week too! WTG!
