I did some walking around the apartment yesterday. Not enough to count as exercise. I just got home as I had an 8:30 am doctors appointment. I have another at noon for my pain injections. Sunday is fast approaching and I am not near ready. Getting sick this week really screwed things up. Now off to figure out what my husband can make while I am away. He doesn’t know how to cook much.2 -

I was not in the mindset for about a month before but I am ready to continue my journey with more effort. I gained about 2 pounds while away but am up about 4 from my lowest. I have my father in law memorial May 31st and then a week with a friend in Fort Myers area. I am a mere 14 pounds from my first goal. You have all been so kind and have been doing incredible in your own journeys! I am determined to be more of an asset to team downsizers!
Please add me to next round of step challenge with a daily total of 7500. Thank you!
You had a lot going on so it’s understandable that you had trouble with mindset.Slimmersixties wrote: »After 2 full days in Madrid I've averaged just over 15000 steps a day and a calorie deficit of 1300 calories I'm having a wonderful time but determined to have lost not gained whilst I'm away!
This is the longest I've been without weighing myself in nearly 2 years and it's a really weird feeling .... almost like a sense of panic as I'm so scared of repeating history and regaining my 90lb loss! Working on keeping things in perspective!!
That is great steps. Maintaining a deficit when on vacation is definitely a win. I was just talking to my husband about our trip to Newfoundland and not wanting eat out so much. Last year we went crazy with eating out and it sent me into a spiral.SW 388.6

Been sick as a dog all week. Caught the flu from a co worker who decided to come into the office sick
There is so much going around. We managed to pass it between 2 households. Did he at least wear a mask? I wore mine to the doctors as I was afraid I might still be contagious. Feel better soon!
Nope! And she went home sick after hacking all day.

So sorry you were sick. My husband is the same in that he is not much a cooker lol! Before I go away I double batch freezer meals. He gets turkey meatballs, white bean chili, pre made elk burgers, lasagna, pork schnitzel, fish filets and half a freezer of Sam's Club pizza! Doesn't hurt to leave him a few gift cards too...wink. This makes it easier on me too as I am less likely to come home to a kitchen fire!1 -

Did we learn nothing from Covid? Two of the biggest take-aways were if you are sick, stay home, and if you must be out in public, wear a mask!!1 -

Here is my Sunday friendly reminder of the people's steps I need for May Week 3... Please have them in no later than Tuesday evening 5/23... Thank you for your cooperation
@rwillems 5/14 - 5/20 (still don't know if you want to be excused)
@Mama530 5/14 - 5/20
@tahm42 5/14 - 5/20
@adianeschu 5/14 - 5/20
Sorry @Megan_smartiepants1970, I had sent you a message a couple of weeks ago that my Fitbit had literally fallen apart and that I would need to be excused until such time as I can figure out a way to do daily step tracking. I apologize if my note was not clear enough, but yes, please excuse me from the step challenge. I do not plan on purchasing another new Fitbit, so, at this time, I have no way to monitor and track my daily step counts.
I did comment on your original message saying you could use this formula ...100x minutes .... I will excuse you ... when you are ready to come back just let me know ...Thanks
Oh God, I am so sorry -- again. I, obviously, have not been keeping up (it took me a week to answer this note). I never saw your note and thought we were all square.
Thanks for the suggestion, but, please leave me on hold for now.1 -

You have given me a new mini goal to aim for. This past Wednesday I was at 60 pounds lost, weighing 211. I have a first goal of weighing 197. But now....now I want to lose 69 pounds lol. Bring on 202 pounds!2 -

Yeah I'm quite annoyed. I've got 3 5km races in June and I haven't been able to run in a week1 -

Fell off the rails the last couple of days. Tuesday it started with my routine being different. It finished with me going to the grocery store hungry, but without the calorie budget to justify the treats bought at the store and then promptly eaten. Went way over with reckless abandon. (Kind of scary how easily I could revert to old habits. I guess those habits are not yet "old" enough to be in the rear view mirror). Wednesday I was still doing a bit of the same, then I got some sad news, so any sort of semblance to reigning it in was lost. I will try again today.2
