We have another new member joining our amazing group ...Please welcome @fabanddetermined :)

Hi! Thanks so much for the welcome Megan!

I am so excited to be here. I know I'm getting here on the tail end of June but I can't wait to get to know you all! I am starting my weight loss journey for the millionth time and this time I am feeling determined (just for today.)

My name is TJ (pronouns are she/her) and I live in Canada! I am really hoping to just take it one day at a time and keep my determination. I think with group support and accountability, such as this, I'll do great!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am just starting my day. This was the second task to do after drinking water...I didn't want to forget to introduce myself haha.

    Welcome home, TJ!

    Steps: 5,185
    Log food: ✔️✔️✔️
    15 minutes of movement:❌✔️✔️
    Exercise: 2/4

Tried to make sure I got up and moved more. That along with my mini walks gave me decent steps. I have another busy day. My diabetic check is this afternoon and I am excited to see what she says about my weight loss.

We posted at the same time. I hate that bloated feeling. I know when I wake up feeling like that it will show on the scale.

    Thank you for the welcome..

It's been sometime since I have took my weight & health serious. I started cruising 4yrs ago,& all of a sudden the weight started piling on.. I would tell myself. After I leave a cruise I would take the following year to train hard,& once its time for the next ship, I could let go,& enjoy 7 days of fun..

However, that NEVER happen. The week before the cruise,I haven't trained once.... Then Pandemic & ALL heck broke out....

Sorry for the tangent. But I'm 55years old,& I'm extremely ready for this challenge..
    Again Thanks for the Welcome

Thanks for all of the encouragent everyone. The 110k+ steps last week is a bit misleading. I am moving off my farm and I'm loading boxes, furniture, tools, and farm machinery up. Today was appliances. Loading and unloading a washer and dryer set is one heck of a workout. I'm also drinking 20+ bottles of water as it is 90 deg F here. I'm not sure what the scale will say, but I hurt in places I didn't know I had. Anyway, thanks everyone.

It sounds like a really good workout. Stay hydrated in that heat.
