Good evening! Still technically Monday here in CA!
PW: 238.6
CW: 238.1
Headed in the right direction again - only 3lbs to go to hit where I was at the beginning of September. It's alright, I'll get there, still learning what works and what doesn't - hint, beer doesn't work, running does. Have a 5K I'm working up to and am feeling cautiously optimistic that I'll be able to run the full thing. Did this run two years ago before my injury and there was a point where I couldn't walk, so this is real progress - shout out to the physical therapists who helped me get here. I've also started working with a personal trainer to help get stronger to hopefully prevent further injury.
Anyway, that was a lot more than I was thinking I would share, but I had a great day and felt like sharing!6 -
PW: 213.6
CW: 211.8
Overall a good week for me, although I did have 2 bad days last Thursday/Friday. Now to just keep plugging along.
@littlemzkitty that is great you are working towards a 5k!3 -
Weigh in Day: MONDAY
PW: 188.1
CW: 191.54 -
PW: 178.2
CW: 177.2
So, I do enjoy the green again. I weighed in lower than my CW the last few days, but the owners of our company are in town and with that is a lot of eating out and drinking. Also, I can tell I'm almost to that time of the month and am starting to bloat. All-in-all, I am happy with the decrease.
@littlemzkitty - Nice work getting from where you couldn't walk to doing another 5k! That is awesome!

I had a wicked chest cold that took me out for a few weeks. I am FINALLY feeling better enough to work out. I haven't made the best choices with my eating the last few days, but I'm still making my workouts and noticing progress. I know it will get better once I get my eating more in check.2 -
Happy Tuesday! Enjoy today's experiments, feed your tomorrow self all the good things2

I just saw this and pass it on -
The difficult decision is to act. The rest is merely tenacity. Wishing you a Tenacious Tuesday.5 -
@MaddawgMadsen thoughts are with you at this time and thanks for sharing.
@micki48 love your attitude. So much of life is mindset and how you control what you can control .
PW 169.2
CW 171
It's all about mindset. I've been doing some great things and have so much more energy. Not going to let this week bring me down.5 -
Ready for Wednesday? It will be a solo weigh-in by @Gidgitgoescrzy and hopefully a catch-up one from @adrimango
Here it comes1 -
@micki48 The hormone changes sound really hard! When you outline all of your life events, it really is a crazy journey. I hope you keep searching for answers that will help you feel better. I had the DUTCH hormone test done last winter through a naturopath and it was so insightful. It gave a lot of info on hormones and quite a few other needs my body had. Our bodies are complicated and sometimes it's multiple problems at once that impact each other. I also like Dr. Mindy Pelz. She has a lot of youtube videos on hormones. She's really into intermittent fasting just so you know. She has a lot of guests on her blog or youtube so if you don't like her, you may connect with one of her guests. I have breast cancer risk in my family so I am always trying to keep my estrogen down. I avoid certain foods like soy products and especially alcohol. There are foods that help increase estrogen that could complement other options. Hugs to you!2

Went to soccer practice tonight and the healthy thing hurt me.. I pulled my quad and I'm not getting around so well. Boo. Hoping it's short lived.
In other news, my Peloton has been getting good use. Brad and I are doing a challenge that has us doing a minimum of 3 rides a week.
He's still away on business and I miss him.7 -

Woohoo, I think some of that I owe to tummy troubles, but I've been eating normally for 2 days now, so some of it is my hard work !
Soooo close to a new decade
I think today I will add exercise back, I haven't done anything since Saturday, so I will keep it light.

Nice drop @Gidgitgoescrzy
One more day for me to make progress towards a drop myself
Started the week off poorly but I've been on track since!4 -
Happy Wednesday!
Just catching up on all the posts!
@ashleycarole86 - That is so amazing to hear about the Peleton! I’ve been debating on getting a spin bike to have at home, but I just love the energy of a spin studio and someone else coming up with the playlist and work I have to do 😂
I have done a strength workout and a Pilates workout so far this week, with spin class tomorrow morning (bright and early!) and then another strength workout planned for Friday.
We are traveling for a wedding later on Friday and I am so excited because we’ll also get to see other friends and family that live in the city. I can’t wait, and it’ll be so nice to take Friday off from work. I haven’t taken a day off since July and I really need it.5 -
@ashleycarole86 I hope your quads recover fast! It is such a drag to do the amazing, super, fabulous, healthy - heck, heroic - thing, and get hurt. Let the vocabulary fly! And get some good massage action happening, and drink plenty of water. Brad will be home soon, I hope!
@cleaneater80 love the mindset message - we all need that reminder from time to time!4 -
Thanks for the encouraging words and information. Some really great losses happening here. Congratulations 🎉
@Gidgitgoescrzy you said you do3-4 liquid IV's a week.
@ashleycarole86 So sorry to hear you got hurt doing the good thing. Hope you feel better soon.
The week has been ok. I had some days with really good meals 2/3 of the time and it usually falls apart at dinner. I have noticed I am not being mindful enough because I am making some poor food decisions without thinking.
My daughter tested positive for covid yesterday. She’s sad to have it again. Mostly because she can’t snuggle with her little cutie girl, my granddaughter. So far no one else has it.
We finally had sun today after 5 straight days of rain.6 -
Is it time for the Thursday line-up already? Wowza. Let's see those numbers

Happy Wednesday! I really don’t know how time zips along so quickly when other things, like my memory, goes in fits and starts…what’s up with that?? Well, at least I’m eating more reasonable amounts of veggies for lunch at work. That feels like a plus.
I’m looking forward to a sound sleep after the exercise I had in the therapy pool this afternoon.
Life is funny, honey!
Xoxo

@micki48
So sorry to hear your daughter has COVID again! Hopefully her symptoms are mild this time around.
Well my sore quad feels slightly better today.. used some Voltaren, did some walks, and then spent 30 minutes stretching tonight. Did my best to do the right things. Also sitting with a warm Magic Bag on the area as we speak.
I don't want to jinx it but I'm thinking tomorrow is going to be looking very GREEN! Yay. Boy that feels so much better doesn't it?
See ya in the morning.5
