    Weigh In Day: Sunday
    PW: 276.4 lbs
CW: 273.2 lbs (down 3.2 lbs)

I am really pleased with my numbers this week, but I really think something odd happened last week. I was down all week then on Saturday and Sunday I was suddenly up 1.5 lbs! Monday of this week I was back down again and have been making small but steady progress all week. I am not complaining, just thought it strange. I know during the summer I was getting a lot of strange readings but that was because I had to use different scales, weigh in at different times, settings were different and, of course, food intake was much more difficult to monitor. Kind of shows that you can’t let yourself be defeated by a couple of bad scale readings. Progress is made slowly over time.

Oh well, as I said, I am not complaining and the progress has been slow but steady in the right direction! Have a great week everyone.

    Rick

    Step Goal: 6,000
    2/11 - 6,297
    2/12 - 6,107
2/13 - 5,945 - Okay, this is frustrating. I thought I hit my goal before bed. If I had noticed the steps, I could have cranked out the 55 steps. I went to sleep pretty much immediately after doing yoga so I didn't even look...ugh!

Motto: 🏋🏾‍♀️ Don't think, just do it!!

Recap: Well, still not back on track and a bit frustrated. It's all me though...guilty!! In the last 7 days, I've had an Anniversary with two dinners out, Superbowl with snacks and alcohol (not nearly what I would normally do) and now Valentine's day (which shouldn't translate into much change). But there were too many temptations during this week and i barely said no. It was fun and enjoyable but now the tale is told on the scale! Up 2 from last week and a total of almost 4 from the week before!! It's amazing (also known as appalling) how easy it is for old habits to come back. In addition to a couple of dinners out, I reintroduced alcohol and chips... I make it through the day ok but the evening desires to have a glass or two of wine and a bowl of chips is NOT good. I did really well getting my water up to 80 ounces...only to be struggling once again to hit 32~ At least I've remained constant with exercise and even threw in some new core moves!

Work has gotten busy in the past two weeks (especially the last one) and I haven't had as much time to visit the boards, comment, get inspiration, reinforcements etc. I think it really makes a difference. I feel like if I had been participating more in my groups, I might have had a bit more resolve. Who knows. Well, I hope things slow down and I can get back on here and get my head straight.

    - THOUGHTS: Food, like your money, should be working for you🙂

    Step Challenge - Goal 8500
    ST = Moderate

Maybe someday I’ll get back to a more settled regime and mindset and join again

Sorry to see you go. Keep focused on the bigger goal and that is being healthy.

Just got home. I will post my steps tomorrow. Just a general comment today. Congratulations to those who lost weight this week so far. The weigh ins so far have been great. If you did have a gain or stayed the same, keep up working on your plan. As long as we get up and try, we are winners in my book.

    Steps:
    Monday 12860
    Tuesday 9694
    Wednesday 5,191

    Rings: ✔️✔️❌
    Exercise:3/5
    Badge: 11/20

My non converted steps were very high ( around 8000) on Monday and Tuesday. I pushed myself and didn’t take the walker to the casino. It was rough at times but I did it. I also think the fact I was up later than usual helped. Weirdly enough my weight is down since Monday. I am still above my maintenance range. I am going for my injections today. Today is going to be a rest day.

Hope you have an amazing Thursday!

I just got a message from my friend that the pool is out of commission. The hot tub has been broken for awhile and now the pool is freezing. I cut my swim short on Monday because it was so cold. The building manager said it will be next week before they get the part. They need to get their 💩together.

Yay! My husband is finally back and I have been able to get back to more activity this week with him being here to stay with his mom. Better yet, his sister has made the rare offer to take her for the weekend! I plan to take full advantage of that and not only get out more but also get some much needed rest!

An even 5 lb drop this week. I needed that big win. I had a few weeks of small loses, but this just reinforces that staying on the grind even when things plateau or slow down will eventually bust you through that wall.

As always, thanks for all your support and giving me inspiration with your posts. Big shout out to @Roblinb for helping me get my steps up.

Amazing loss! This is why it’s so important to keep at it when you have a small loss or even a gain. If we stick to the plan the scales will cooperate eventually. Speaking of gains, I don’t believe you have had one since you started with us. Is this correct? Yes, there is a community pool near me. I have no car available during the day but could go in the evening. We are trying to figure out when the pool is being opened again. My building manage has a speech impediment so it’s hard to understand her at times. We do know the hot tub is working so the pool should heat up soon.

I am glad my weight came down from the 156 that I weighed on Monday. Considering I was away from Monday to Wednesday I did good. I am doing some mini walks today. My plan is to make sure each walk is at least 10 minutes or more. I have had a sore throat for a few days. It is worse today along with my asthma. The funny thing is I don’t feel sick. Hope it stays that way. 🤞 It’s time for another walk.

It’s Friday! Have a great one.

Sorry! Yesterday morning was super busy. I did weigh in:

    (Thursday)
    PW 126.8
    CW 127.2

Is previous weight our starting weight, or the weight from the previous week?

I still have not found my motivation... I always wake up every morning really motivated, and then somewhere between 2:00-6:00 PM it all goes out the window. I'm pretty happy with my current weight, too, so that is part of the problem. Why lose those last few pounds when I'm close enough? But, I do want to lose a few more. It would put me in the middle of my Normal BMI, and I would like the way my clothes fit better. Here is my new goal: to pre-log my afternoon/dinner food every morning or the night before.
