woke up, braced up, did an hour on the semi-recumbent exercise bike.3

Decided to try to ride after spin class. Only made it 35 minutes. Too darn hot 100F, 95 in the shade. There wasn’t much shade. Took multiple breaks to cool down burned 250 active calories…2

i decided to try something a bit different. instead of going faster and harder, i tried a longer, lighter ride at 90 minutes and followed it up with a 32 minute slower treadmill walk with an 8 pound weighted vest. it wasn't really enough weight to get my heart rate up - i'll gradually increase it.1

p.s. did a super fast 12 minute circuit set, too... 2 sets each biceps, triceps, chest presses, pec flys, rows...1

36 minutes legs - squats, 1-legged calf lifts, farmer carry, explosive forward pulls and pushes on cable machine, exercise bike alternating up to a much higher resistance.
then 10 minutes treadmill and 12 on upright bike.1 -
Nobody showed up for spin class so I did 30min steady state ride. 134 calories.1
