    Hello Boiler1330
Coincidentally, I looked up myotonic dystrophy earlier today.
I have fibro, nerve pain, etc. I'm also no spring chicken--74. So I usually have to make myself exercise. But I love water, and right now I'm in 2 water aerobics classes. Find something you love to make it easier.

    Hello @boiler1339
The good news is you don’t need to exercise to lose weight.
It’s helpful for keeping your muscles toned, and has cardiovascular benefits. But if it’s extra hard? Simple movement is fine. Do what you can and what isn’t too much of a burden for you.
Focus on good nutrition and keeping your calories within a range that helps you meet your goals.

    That all that’s truly necessary.
    It takes time. And persistence.

    Hang in there.

I still check in here every few days.
Tag me if you want to and I’ll keep on supporting you here if you want.

I lost some of my motivation when this app made the choice to change the way they managed a few things, so I’ve moved my logging over to another app. But I still check in to the community forum here daily.
