@Tabatha_Cain enjoy day off. How are things going with house. I know it can be very frustrating and nerve wrecking.

Nothing too much going on here. Still some snow on ground and it is in some spots icy. Saw a neighbor walking dog and almost slip. That is one reason I am not taking Kayla for a walk. I don't know what I do wrong when doing my total body exercise but I always wake up the next morning with one of my knees being weak. But that isn't going to stop me will do some seated exercises today. Hope your day is going well.

@Kurtize As soon as I get any twinge in knee, I use a good knee brace, usually takes only 1-2 days to right itself, help this helps!

@Kurtize, Smart not walking on ice!! Ice does scare me, but snow nahhhh not in the least, unless there's ice underneath. Do you know what's going on with your knee as to why it's weak?
@Gouldsgranite, actually it IS helping me. I keep it near by bed, when I wake up in the AM I immediately plan out a few things for the day. It helps me to add back in fun!!! I should start again working on my 3D puzzle of the Titanic, I had to get new fairy lights, OSCAR THE Heheheheh BRAT Kitty (he's actually so sweet, but yeah he's FULL OF MISCHIEF, but usually that's okay!! LOL USUALLY) bit them. Now to take it apart enough to put those in.

    Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Wednesday and I have a lot to do today. Joe has 2 doctor appointments today and I have 3 or more calls to make to get quotes for home insurance and discuss some things in regards of the sale of my home. It is a lot and there are so many people calling and bugging me.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thank you. I still have so much to get done. I have so many calls to make. I will definitely be marking boxes for urgent unpacking. That is a good idea.
@Kurtize - I am pretty stressed. I am packing and putting stuff in our main room. We don't have a solid closing date yet for either property. People are not calling back with insurance quotes for the new home. So now I have to call them and find out what the hold us is. We need the insurance set soon. We also have a lot of snow.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Izzy kitty fun. Am I seeing Fairy lights on your puzzle? 3d titanic? Wow. We are doing a 2000 piece beachfront this winter. I mean it. Spring should be here when we get 'er done. 5x harder it seems than 1000 pcs. I agree. The self care wheel puts ME back in the driver's seat of a great day.

@Tabatha_Cain - Congrats on doing all the things to get your new home.
Busy times, hope you can enjoy the process.

@Kurtize - Like me you press on. Like the advice of a knee wrap.

Happy Wednesday. @Sparkuvu that's what I ended up doing (putting on a knee brace). Feels much better today. I did some easy exercises. Hubby yelled at me, he said wait until the knee felt better. I did seated ones so I don't think I irritated it any more than it was. Not too much new, had our monthly zoom Bible study and get together with friends that live in CA and OR. Other than that not much new.

@Tabatha_Cain sending hugs, good vibes and lots of patience as you go through this closing. I understand completely.

@Tabatha_Cain, first of all SEND ALL OF THE SNOW HERE!! We are 53 inches SHORT of our total for the year!! Last year Massachusetts had a good size (for the NE) wild fire, this is on our minds now! Hopefully today got some quotes for insurance and that part is settled or close to it!! WEIRD I'd expect them to want a new client! Hopefully soon your worse part will be "How will this get moved?" When I was young I just threw a pizza party to all who came and helped and we all loved that!! We did it for each other, but my last move which was literally just next door. I hired a mover, it was just easier all the way around. It's not cheap, but it was done fast, which I totally enjoyed.
@Gouldsgranite, Oh I'm planning on taking out in a bit after I drop by PS4L and catch up what I can there! I'll put a picture in. Its a very different type of puzzle, but it's awesome!! I do enjoy the wheel. Also journaling.
Have you all looked over what Ceri put up for us about Visions of Knowing Yourself: Journaling. We'd LOVE to hear what you think about journaling!! Here's the link: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10931081/visions-of-knowing-yourself-journaling#latest
@Kurtize, I know you are mindful of your knee. Hopefully soon you and Don will be able to think again of moving. Joyce, I LOVE that picture!! There is beauty in 98% of the things we see, if we just look at it that way.

Today a friend and I went to a park we both love. If you've been to Maine to tour/play you may of been to the Portland Head Lighthouse. That's where we went today. This is a picture from the Fall. LOL It was 20 F and I didn't get out of the car. There are no flowers right now, and the grass is brown with maybe a tiny bit of ice.

@Gouldsgranite how did your day go? Mine was great this AM meeting with 5 friends on zoom. We do a volunteer work we enjoy together and yes, at times we talk seriously other times we totally fool around, today was a combo. This afternoon I was very laid back.
@Kurtize, Hope you also enjoyed the day!!

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Your volunteer group sounds fun. Got in Yoga early. It's been a good week for me. Been getting into new exercise routine for several weeks and for this week 1, fitbit agreed, today was best a rest day. So Papashop and I played pool, puzzled and did some housework at a comfortable pace.

@Kurtize as my Mom used to say (and others) "A loser never wins, and a winner never quits" TY TY TY
@Gouldsgranite, SUPER AWESOME on the great week and getting into a nice exercise routine. Mine is always based on the day and how I am feeling. I can quickly go from walking for a few minutes to "OH OOPS! I need a seat FAST!" mode. BUT I am still doing this!! And I keep hoping once they tweak the meds and have been reading up on it, it is still possible they'll find the right combo and hey, I'd LOVE to get to yoga!! That'd be awesome and doing the exercises on the weird channels (I use a wall antenna which is only 22 at Walmart or Amazon etc.) I DROPPED Cable!! WOOHOO!!! In the bedroom I get 30 channels in the living room 40. ALL FOR FREE!! The local ones absolutely such as NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox23 and CW and the odd ones. On some of the odd ones I see exercises classes. A WIN/WIN!!! OHHHH you like puzzles! Have you seen any like the one I am working on?

ITs a 3 D puzzle I brought on amazon(27.00). Instead of having a flat puzzle its built to look like the Titanic!!!

@Dianedoessmiles1 - That's a puzzle! So cool. WTG listening to your body and doing what you can. I've been fortunate to continue daily yoga practice and it sure makes a difference for my mobility and overall fitness. Just keep plugging along!

@Patti241 - how's your friend today? Sure hoping for improvement.

@Patti241 Happy to hear you are doing well on the team. Are you expecting snow? WE FINALLY are, perhaps more than a diddly squat amount. We will find out. LOL the storm hasn't even formed, and yet tomorrow night 3 to 6 they "say".
@Gouldsgranite its a TON of fun to do!! It comes with instructions all pictures. Parts of it I could not figure out, but GOOD OLE Youtube to the rescue!! A man recorded it as he put his together. YO!! It was the lights I was confused over, but they are in and look good!

    @Kurtize - More wise words.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Love youTube for learning. Thought I should post this while thinking of it. You know the HALT system for hunger? Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired? My issue with it - It has negative words I don't want to advertise. I had an enlightened moment. LOL The fridge with our new instructions:

That's papashop's art there at the bottom. JOMO - he coined it Joy Of Movin' On - Love him!

@Gouldsgranite, I like your HABITS sign!! TY TY TY For sharing this!! Please thank @Papashop who I am also tagging. Is Papashop your H or a team member? My poor mind is in a BEFUDDLE watching the Eagles and LA!! A very dear friend team is the Eagles, yet, I feel so bad for LA with the fires. Normally, I'd not have them at all on the radar. Later the Chiefs and Texans is an EASY PICK!! My oldest brother lives in Kansas, of course, I'll cheer his team on. Be fun to have the Chiefs and Eagles in the super bowl. I'll have to decide soon if I wish to throw a super bowl party or not. Its usually 3 or 4 of us who have met for years. LOL The game in the snow is always so funny (Eagles stadium).

WOOHOO SNOW WILL has just started here, we are expecting between 3 to 9"s (LOL many of us are saying 1" to a foot) we'll find out!

    Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. This past week has been so busy. I swear not enough time to get everything done. We have been packing and helping my Mom in her home as well. Yesterday we packed the office closet and went through all off that stuff to decide what we are keeping and what are donating, then we watched church online, and ate lunch. Then went to my mother's house and painted a bedroom she had built for 4 hours. Unfortunately I cannot claim all 4 hours of painting, but it was pretty non stop on the painting. It was actually just the primer coat, but hey we got the inside of the room done. Which is good. Then we came home sore and tired and ate dinner and then just literally relaxed all evening. Today while Joe is at work I will be organizing and going through the basement on what we are keeping and what we are not keeping. There will be a lot of tossed items I am sure.

I am closing on my current home on Wednesday the 22nd. I am really nervous on closing on the home I live in before I have a solid closing date for the new home. I am really nervous on that. I am wondering if I should postpone the closing on this home for a week. I guess I will have to look into this and see. I am not sure if this is even normal to close so early on one home while waiting for another. I am nervous.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - I hope you are doing well.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

@Patti241 - Good morning, Patti. Very sorry to hear your friend is back to ICU. 🙏 Please take good care.

@Tabatha_Cain - Good luck with your upcoming move. Hope for it to all go smoothly for you. As for the closing dates wonky, go with your gut feelings. You know best.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Snow it is then!
Yes Papashop is my DH and also teammate. Just don't have the enthusiasm for football anymore. Most times we can't get games on TV so we've gotten out of habit. Go Chiefs! They have an amazing team and fun to watch when we see them.
Wonder if super bowl will be on a network we get?? Hope so.

@Patti241, I am so sorry he's in the ICU!! How is after today? Do you have the support you need around this? MANY HUGS TO YOU!!
@Tabatha_Cain TY TY TY For asking. Last night was a little rough (Mildly put!) But today I am usual self, just taking it easier. WOOHOO on the closing date!! Hopefully it'll be a smooth transition for you both. Its not easy to find a short term rental right now, but it is possible. I am not sure of your area, we have some larger cities and tourist areas which people really do not rent in the "off season." If approached you may find a short term at a reasonable cost. BUT hopefully the timing will be good.
@Gouldsgranite, The super bowl will be on FOX. I ditched cable, but got a wall antenna (Walmart $22) it catches stations up to 330 miles away. If you live in a rural area that may still be an option? Or at least to try it if you've not? With mine (I am city) I get 40 channels in one room 30 in the other. Includes the 3 major networks, as well as FOX and CW and others. I hate that not everyone can watch the games!! This past weekend was ABC and CBS. I am pretty next weekend is the same ,, local but I've not checked yet. The 2 games yesterday where very exciting!! BOTH Games were so close!!! LOL Janey, i can tell we are in the techy age. I was in text with 3 different friends, as we all stayed at home, but still "watched the game together." LOL
HOW COOL you and Hubby are on the same team!! WOOHOO!!!

@patti241 - Good morning. How is your friend today? You getting enough rest?

@Dianedoessmiles1 - We have a smart TV and an antenna for local channels. No FOX - we don't pick it up here in our area. Their signal is out of range - over a big hill from us. I agree the new cheapy antennas do work good. Our DS came for the holidays and by the time he left, well, we have many to pick from. Gotten out of the habit of watching TV so it's not on. We listen to music for the most part. Sitcom in the eve. Movie once in a while. Last real good one we saw, The Big Year. Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen wilson. It's loosely about journaling! 😉
