Maybe I will be out the 190’s next week. That would be great. It must be from working with these 2 year olds. You don’t get to eat. I found my breakfast half eaten the other day on the counter at work. I also have a cold because of them. Yesterday I had to go home and take a shower. All day they were sneezing, drooling, wiping boogies on me and not to mention the child who peed his sleep stuff and I had no idea. It was a great afternoon. All you can do is laugh at this point

    Hi all,

@minstrelofsarcasm @melaniedscott - thank you both so much. I was sure I'd been in one of these groups before, but I couldn't remember which one for the life of me (which is a shocking sign of both how long it's been and the state of my memory!) so thought I should probably just start again in the sign-up thread - and yay, I'm back in the right one :))

To everyone else - hi (or hi again as the case may be!)

I've unfortuntately had some health issues over the past couple of years, both physical and mental, so my weight has gone off the rails and I really need to take control again. This is definitely the heaviest I've ever been, so am desperate to get healthier and feel better - and look better would be a big bonus as well lol.

I feel pretty good about how my week has gone. Made better choices and tried to move more often. The weather is getting warmer (34 degrees) than it has been. I was actually able to take my dog for a walk yesterday. She is a year old German Shepherd puppy. This is the first time since we have had her trained that I could walk her on a leash.

@blessedgrandma5 - It looks like I might have made a typo with your weight last week. I entered in 189.8 and not 188. Is the old weight correct, or is the "new" one?

Also, if you are willing to share pictures of your puppy, I would love to see her!

you are correct, I was wrong. Thanks for catching that.

@podperson1 - Life happens to all of us. All that matters is that you're here and you want to do something about it. Do you have a strategy in mind already? Are you planning on doing the same thing you did the last time you were in our little group?

@tokyotfrog2 - Welcome to Team Weight No More! I'm Ashley, one of the team captains. I'll be posting my super long intro on the February chat soon, so I'll refrain from typing it all out here, but please let us know if you have any questions or concerns! Looking forward to getting to know you!

@blessedgrandma5 - What a face! What a little cutie! Thank you for sharing!

Tomorrow will be a real test. It is my grandson's first birthday party. My son and daughter in law are hosting the party at my house. My ex will be here too. This will be the second time he has seen his grandson in a year. I have been doing really good. I have a plan to stay on track. I just hope I actually do. One plan that I have, if I feel like I am about to blow it, I plan to jump on here and send out an SOS lol.

@minstrelofsarcasm - I'm trying to keep smallish goals for now, as I think I have a bad habit of trying to do a huge overhaul at once and then failing miserably! So I'm back on my calorie limit for the day and needing to up with activity levels. I've had some back and hip problems, which kinda mucked me up for doing a lot of exercise - but then I was putting extra weight on due to the lack of exercise, which was making the back problems worse, and into a lovely vicious circle! So, at the moment I'm aiming for 3k steps a day and increasing in increments. I also have myself a super cute rewards chart where I get unicorn stickers for keeping to my goals (yup, I have a child mentality, but I'm leaning into it), and am currently thinking up some 'rewards' that are strictly non-food based for when I get to certain amounts.

@blessedgrandma5 - parties are so hard, it feels like everyone is trying to push food on you! I hope it goes well, and enjoy your lovely grandbaby's birthday :)

I had a bit of an off-calorie day yesterday as a good friend was wanting to go out to celebrate her new job, so we went to a new Japanese restaurant we've been meaning to try. I know I went over calories, which isn't great, but I was also trying to be a bit mindful - I didn't have anything super high calorie, and did stop before I felt 'too' full. I'm going to count it as progress! I have zero excuse for the ice-cream mochi though, except it was absolutely amazing :D

Today, I have just been for a walk to get my steps in, and it's seriously nippy out! Shocking for Scotland in February I know ;) Debating what to have for my dinner, might go a bit more low-cal today to make up for yesterday.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend x

Ugh!!!! SOS lol. I have been snacking to get away from my ex and my daughter in laws mom. The party hasn’t even started yet. They all got here about 10:30. Trying to decorate and play hostess has been a challenge. I did try playing pool with the guys for a bit but my ex started making cracks. So that didn’t work. Oh well! I will get through this. I think I will grab veggies and put out so I can snack on that.

    Weigh day Friday

    Previous weight 181.7 lbs
    Current weight 181 lbs

Sorry I am late, I was hoping the scales would be kinder to me with an extra day but no luck.

Feeling a lot deflated here, I tried really hard, I wasn't perfect with my food choices but I thought overall I made good choices with a little bit of chocolate snacking. I am drinking a lot of water and green tea. I am on my feet all day at work. I tried really hard to up my exercise (3 run, 1 pilates, a few yoga/ stretches, 1 dance workout, 2 walks and I added weights in my backpack when I am walking) and my weight didn't go down much at all. I feel like I am stuck in between 180-182 and can't get lower
