Hello,
Looking for suggestions: Every time I get invited to a social function it involves FOOD! Progressive dinners, meetings with desserts, birthdays, dinner out, tailgating, ugh. What are some activities you do with your friends that don't involve eating?
I have suggested with my friends(when warmer) that we go for a walk on a trail or bike path nearby or to go in a bike ride. A group of us have taken different classes together. Garden workshops, seed starting,
etc. suggest a museum or simply get together for a game night. If food has to be involved make it a competition or “experiment” with telling them to bring a healthy food item.0 -

No change but at least it didn't go up. Work has been stressful so I haven't been making good food choices and I was tired so missed some of my planned exercise. This weekend I'll make to most of my time to relax and hopefully have a more balanced week next week
I also need to look for better snack ideas on the go1 -

Sorry to let the team down this week, I’ve been away and indulging in foods I don’t normally eat, cakes, ice cream and pasta. Crossing my fingers that it’s just water weight and will come off quickly when I get back on track today.
Taking myself out for an hour’s walk while the kids are with their tutor to kick start me. I still think I’m in Xmas holiday mode and need to get back to my old healthy habits, I was doing so well🤞🏻2 -

Way to walk Weight No More!
I don't know jow the weather is where everyone is but I am hoping it has not been as bitterly cold as the US Midwest (as low -10F/-23C). It has had me hunkered down, indoors.
Kudos to top of the leaderboard, @Emilienewme who was Most Consistent and met their step goals and to @purple1butterfly for most steps in one day--almost 20K!
Steps team, we've got one more week in January...we're just over 1 million for the month. Can we make it 1.5?
Sorry this is so late...I've been pretty ill and not competent to do much at all.
If you want to join the step challenge for January:Just post your steps by the end of Wendnesday after the week ends. I'm flexible and might wait a day or two for you. If we're 'friends', I may drop a personal note to you to check in. If we aren't, and you'd like a personal note, send me (melaniedscott) a friend request.

Had a very busy week working in a classroom full of 2 year olds and now I have a cold and have been on the couch the last 2 days. You can probably tell I have done nothing yesterday if you look at my steps, it will be the same for today. I did finally manage this afternoon to get my house cleaned because I couldn’t stand looking at it anymore. I am going to be going to bed early so I can hopefully make it through the day tomorrow.0
