Looks like my weekend list is going to flow into my week list! LOL I took advantage of the wet ground and got my flowerbeds cleaned up- worked on them for about 1.5 hours. I'm now working on making the cheesecake! Scott grilled steaks for us for lunch! :) After lunch I'll relax a little before we have to go to friends…

    Lovely !

I was just penciling in my list for next week. I decided to isolate the boards, instead of blending everything. Fitness - House - Food - Other - TBD (5 boards)

Just getting ready to head to PF in a bit. Fitbit almost done charging.

TBD is going to be leftovers (sorted that while at PF) :p. I wish I wouldn't have more than 24, but I'm pretty sure I will. We'll see …

Back from Planet Fitness. Got in Bike 5 miles, upper body/core weights circuit, and most of lower body weights circuit. Had to skip a machine b/c hubby texted while I was on the bike and asked me to pick up scrip … and the place was closing by 5p. Got there at 5p straight up. They closed. Grrrrr

All showered and cozy. Went for a walk with Eric after dinner - we made the deal yesterday to go for a walk yesterday, and today, and I forgot! So happy Eric remembered (and surprised, too, if I'm being honest). He said he remembered bc he felt so much better last night after we got home from our walk. He's T1 diabetic, his bg was 296 before we left for our walk yesterday, 187 when we got back 25 mins later. High bg makes you feel crappy, he was surprised how quickly it came down.

Okay, I have a lot of squares to start the week with again, but that's okay, I've been chipping away these last 2 weeks at stuff I've been circling around, and mostly avoiding, so it was good. I have my lists for new boards for next week ready. I'm excited about trying to use different boards for different things. It should bring into focus the stuff I'm really avoiding (hello bathroom shelves). I have 1 for fitness, 1 for house, 1 for food, 1 for other, and 1 for leftovers (tho I have more than a board's worth of leftovers, but less this week than last week, so - progress !)

Off to do my Turkish, and hopefully manage to squeak out one more asleep before midnight. My Hogwarts Bingo board is all complete except for that one square 😵

OOOOH walks sound like just what the dr ordered. I have heard good things about T1D and Keto/Carnivore. Scott's T2D and walking WAY brings down his BS, mine too- I'm borderline this time, but usually I'm not bad. Water, no white, fasting will really help him. I know how it helps Scott. I know 1 and 2 are different, but BS is BS is and it will respond the same way.

Anyway, hurt all night due to gardening yesterday from my shoulders to my knees on the back side hurts so much! LOL So, today will be light stretching and light housework. I will make a list in a little bit.

Agree, on the walks ! Fasting, etc is tricky with T1, especially with T1 on an insulin pump. I know it's possible, but not entirely recommended unless it's under active management by a medical team. Fasting has so many benefits, the Prolon FMD 5-days that I do even have trials under way using the 5days for T2 diabetes prevention (for pre-diabetes) and remission (for T2 diabetes). I think they even have trials underway with T1 diabetes, but it's hands-on, medically managed daily+.

We've (mostly) avoided whites for decades. White rice, white flour, white sugar, white pasta/bread. Eric's favorite snack is a giant bag of pistachios. A long time ago, we tried Atkins together, but it wasn't possible to continue, Eric kept getting low bg's. He does favor animal proteins, tho, that's for sure.

Possible movie date this afternoon (Monday is our Sunday). If so, we have to sandwich it between a doctor appt he has at 1p, and him leaving for Katie's for 2 weeks, this evening. He's heading up to her place to pet sit for her 3 dogs and 2 cats while she travels. I think she's going to Turkey, but maybe not, could be a vet conference too. Not sure.

Sorry about the muscle soreness today. Hopefully, it's a good soreness. Light exercise seems to be a perfect plan.

I'll finish making my boards in a bit.

It's rainy rainy rainy here, and will continue until 3a 🌧🌧🌧.

Happy Rainy St. Patty's Day! 💚🤍🧡💙🍀☘🍀☘🍀💙🧡🤍💚

Jenny! I hope your busy-ness today was a good thing! :) Missed your smiling keyboard.

Eric is gone for a couple weeks, up to Katie's for pet-sitting. We had a late afternoon matinee movie date, then a late St Patty's Day dinner at home afterward. I had 2 desserts bc he forgot his :p. (We got them yesterday at a local Roman-style Pizza and neighborhood grocery store. Mascarpone cake with berries (tiny portions, in a cute glass jar - yummy!). Do you know the Barstool Pizza Guy "one bite' pizza reviews? He was in ME last yr, gave the place (Monte's) one of his highest scores ever, I guess. (It didn't seem very high to be one of the highest, tho, imo!)

It's still raining here (been going on all day yuck). Hope you are well ! Xx

Sorry for the quietness yesterday! I was "busy" at work (with training) and at lunch time I did a zoom call with someone. I have decided to put my Life Coach certification to use and have taken on my first "client". Will be interesting to see how the next 8 weeks go! If I like it, if she likes it, if I'll do more of it… lots to learn!

I have fallen off the walking wagon, so I need to get back to it today! I will be wearing a weighted vest as well- lots of great benefits including more calorie burn, muscle creation, core strength and helping bones stay strong!

With Eric gone for 2 weeks, do you have a project you will focus on? Scott goes away for about 5 days every year with his D&D buddies to a gaming convention and I usually have a project in mind to surprise him when he gets home- last year it was a deep clean/re-arrange of the bedroom!

My sister texted this morning, she's been battling what she thinks is gallbladder issues for a month or so and she woke up at 2am today in pain and vomiting. She has an appt this afternoon, but will call in a little bit to see if she can get it moved up or if she needs to do something else….

I want to focus on getting enough protein, so today I'm going to make a tab in my health tracker spreadsheet and have a protein cheat sheet- the foods I normally eat and how much protein for different sizes : 1, 4, 8, 12, 16 (ounces or count of eggs).

LOL I am ALL over the place this morning! Maybe I didn't need the second cup of coffee! LOL Here's my list for today:

    1. Training: AI for Scrum Masters
    2. Help Scott with setting up his habitica- told him it's a good way for him to remember what he needs to do since he and I are both ADHD :)
    3. Take give aways to car (yes, it's still on here)
    4. get protein spreadsheet set up
    5. make bed
    6. unload dw
    7. pick up table
    8. cut up sheets for yarn/ball up (I have old tshirt sheets that aren't good enough to give away, so trying to find other ways to use them!)

Good morning! Ahhh, I knew you were up to something good! Congratulations on your first client. And woohoooo inspired by your list! How do you use sheets for yarn, may I ask? I'm intrigued!

And YES, I did have in mind a project to do while Eric was gone - DO ALL THE THINGS! hah! But instead, I'm going to focus on the Bingos. I just started it three weeks ago, so I'll stick with that for a bit. It's fun/motivating (and thank you again, for the idea!)

Bed made right when I got up, which I loved! Eric sleeps late b/c his schedule is late - later shift, later bedtimes, all of it. Somehow making the bed 1st thing, tho, really rings my bell 🔔. Got the bedspread in the wash, too. (leftover bingo square)

I asked for help with the images turning into links a couple days ago. A staff member tried to help yesterday, but couldn't sort the problem, bc couldn't see the images. I gave them a link to the bingo sheet, where I uploaded the images. They still couldn't sort the problem (said they couldn't replicate it, asked if it was just those images, or others, and suggested image hosting site since it was just those images 🤷‍♀️). BUT, they complimented my spreadsheet! Said it was a fun spreadsheet and good work. Made me feel proud ^ - ^.

Sorry to hear your sister is in such pain! I had kidney stones about 15 yrs ago, or so. Pain until you vomit is no joke. Hopefully she will get seen sooner rather than later, and can get some relief.

best laid plans and all….. ended up driving to parents house. She’s waiting until her appointment at 1:30 and not going to the Er at this time. Considering it took over an hour to get here, it was just easier to take the day off.

Okay, I'm off to get ready for Functional Fitness Tuesdays - Resistance Bands 60m class. I have:

    • 7 squares done
    • 9 more penciled in to be done by tonight
    • and 9 that are 'In Progress' / multi-day, so they won't complete tonight.

My tracker says I have 18 squares/day to complete, to finish by Sunday, so tomorrow will have to be more productive than today :). BUT, I'm happy with today, it was good!

Finally home! What should be a 45 min drive took an hour there and 1.5 hours home. Scott had food for me (he got chicken wings from our fav place)… so I'm fed now! Tomorrow at 7:30 she gets an ultrasound done, and depending on if they see gallstones (preferred) or not (more testing), will know how the next couple weeks will go for her. I forgot I will be heading there Thursday night to take my parents to the Dr Friday….

Tonight…. meh, I'm going to relax, might even take a bath! :)

WTG on your squares! You can do it, but don't over exhaust yourself!

Morning! Feeling bleh today. Scott got us chicken wings from our favorite place, but we won't do that again. I woke up at 3 with severe stomach pain, thankfully only 1 stop to the toilet was needed (sorry TMI!) and this morning my BS is 148!!!! It usually runs around 100-110. So….. water water water, exercise and fasting are my plans. Of course the high BS is what's making me feel bleh.

Since yesterday was a bust, I'll just use my list from yesterday! LOL OH! And I gave myself a full pass yesterday on Habitica. If you don't check off your dailies it counts against your HP, so I marked them all as completed! :) I'll be more truthful today….

    1. Training: AI for Scrum Masters
    2. Help Scott with setting up his habitica- told him it's a good way for him to remember what he needs to do since he and I are both ADHD :)
    3. Take give aways to car (yes, it's still on here)
    4. get protein spreadsheet set up
    5. make bed
    6. unload dw
    7. pick up table
    8. cut up sheets for yarn/ball up (I have old tshirt sheets that aren't good enough to give away, so trying to find other ways to use them!). Here's a quick video on how to make tshirt yarn:

    Anyway!

So sorry to hear about 3a awful stomach pain :( cyberhugs coming your way 💐. The T-shirt art vid was fascinating. What will you make with your fabric yarn?

Do you know why the wings spiked your bg? Is it the recipe? Or illness, do you think (body releasing stored glucose, etc)? Illness does dramatic things to Eric's bg. Usually he runs high when he's sick, but he also gets dramatic lows, too. Tho, come to think of it, that may be from trying to correct to fix the high bgs … hmmm 🤔

    • - - - - - - - - -

    I slept yuck last night - 4h 16m, sleep score 62/Fair :/

But! 💡 I have a full plan already made (made last night), culled from the Bingo Squares - 7 old ones (2 in progress), and 11 new ones (1 in progress).

    I've already got 1+ squares done -

    • bedspread washed yesterday is back on bed (square done);
    • blanket from bed is in washer (square in progress),
    • yesterday's lol (load of laundry) is in the dryer … which juuusst buzzed, but I'm going to sit a bit and have my protein tea ☕.

Morning bg, bp, and scale done. Face washed, teeth brushed, dressed, bed made. Bleach dumped in toilet, will swish and swipe in a bit. Why do I always skip brushing my hair!? 💇‍♀️ I guess I'll do that in a bit.

This looks interesting on my laptop (format) ! I wonder if it's all just a wall of text on the app, tho.

I am on my desktop big screen, so it looks good to me! Very detailed! :) WTG on your squares done so far!

I think I am going to use it to make hot pads, it seems that's a good use of it. Will have to get a new hook, but will wait for a little bit. I still need to work on Hannah's blanket- I'm up to 4 rows!!! LOL

The wings are lightly breaded, so that's probably why it was high. That and stress. Stress in any form will raise BS, and yesterday was….. stressful! I didn't realize how much the wings were spiking me because I wasn't eating as clean as we are now. Even Scott said he doesn't want them again because he spiked too! I'm still fasting, but BS before our lunch walk was 98, so it did finally go down. Amazing how crappy you feel with high BS. I've also been pumping the water today as well, so that helps to bring it down too.

Scott and I talked on the walk about Protein/Fat and goals. I really need to get my cheat sheet done! :)

Well, heading back to training. This one isn't as easy because it's all reading instead of video…. LOL so I can't multitask!
