Ok, dinner is done, and dishes are cleaned up, even started the dishwasher! :)

I should get a bath tonight, I have "do something relaxing" on my bingo card....

Scott is playing D&D online with his buddies. He has been able to shift his schedule so we work at the same time now (7-4 instead of me 7-4 and he 8-5) and he's shifted his lunch to do his with me, so we were able to walk at lunch and after work together! Made me really happy!

    Tomorrow's focus:
    1. Get back into my "read the bible in a year" plan (yes, I'm 30 days behind!!!)
    2. Bedroom and sheets/blankets

Saturday and Sunday will be another all day on the camera day (9-5) for training, but will be worth it!

Back from fermentation class! Fun. Now I have a SCOBY and a jar of sweet tea fermenting, hopefully it'll be kombucha in a couple weeks 👍.

White chicken chili - cheesy version (we had salsa version last night) now. SO hungry! Part of the meals I cooked for Week 3 Hogwarts. Freezer is full of cooked and ready to go meals, love that.

Cat, I've been sort of front-side focused on exercise. Working up a sort of 'committee' of control journals for that. Still in the digital world, tho I'm migrating to analog. Soon, hopefully. I'd share a link, but our group is a public site, so .... 🤷‍♀️.

    yummmmmm MK!

Good morning! Scott had to go into work early, so it's weird to wake up without him in the house. It's very quiet just me and that cats today.

Took my measurements this morning, yay! I'm really happy with my progress. Didn't lose tons of weight, but inches are still coming off!

It was nice to wakeup to a clean kitchen/dining/bathroom. Will need to empty dw today, do some laundry.

Good Morning! I got an hour walk in before my training! that made me happy!

Today is training. Scott is working on cleaning up his office today, he did work on the family room yesterday, so it was nice to sit in there last night and watch some tv on the couch with him. Haven't done that in a few months. I know that sounds stupid, but when we had to redo the kitchen Scott emptied all the cabinets and put it all over the house. This is the last place we need to declutter from all that fun. LOL After the kitchen was done, we hung a tv in the dining room and that's where we've been doing our main TV watching. LOL

    Ok, back to training....

Training was cancelled for today- the trainer's son had a "medical emergency" so I will finish it next weekend.

    Instead, today's focus will be:
    1. Laundry
    2. decluttering the family room- we've found the couch we want, but will require some reconfiguration down there
    3. 30 min strength training, 30 min aerobic video, getting my 15,000 steps in (still trying to make up for Tuesday.

Good morning, Happy Sunday! Hopefully the trainer re-schedule is good for you.

It's Saturday here. Focus is chill.

My Fitbit is eating my steps 🤬 A Redditor said Fitbit support said it's a 'known issue' and they're working on it.

Oh no! so, I just spent way too long setting up a spreadsheet to track my weight and other metrics this year. LOL I even have graphs. LOL I'm a numbers geek. The one thing I can say now is I can correlate higher calories with more weight loss! I will keep updating it to continue tracking my hypothesis, but looks like 2000+ calories is my need- even with 2400 one day, I lost! go figure!

Ok, enough playing, going to throw darks into the wash and get a 30 min strength training in.

Darks in the wash, took give way to the car, cleaned up the space in front of the exercise room TV so I have space to do some workouts today, got the litter boxes cleaned out and moved a bunch of litter bags around, vacuumed the exercise room floor. Was busy but not 100% focused.

Lunch time! THEN I will work on the exercise part!

Ok! Darks are done, glad I looked here, need to go put it in the dryer! I got some cooking done (and made a mess with one thing), got a lot of exercise today (which felt amazzzzzing!)

The disappointment of the weight graph is that the change is so small right now, that it looks almost like a flat line, hoping it looks better mid-year! ;)

Tomorrow mom has the "watchman" procedure at 2:30. I took the whole day off, so I'll head down there after lunch and will be there well past dinner I'm guessing. Will try to get my exercise in the morning. Need to get moving on the bingo card as well!

Tuesday is a dentist appt at 8am. 5 week follow up on my Invisalign.

Scott got a really good portion of his office clean today and then said "wow! mine looks better than yours!" even though I never said that when I cleaned up my room a couple weeks ago!

We have figured out what couch we want to get, but we have some work in the family room to get done before we can-
    1. See if Hannah and Jonah want the old couch. If so, we need to take it to them 4.5 hours away
    2. Scott has to clean out his office closet to put the 100)+ CDs in there until he figures out what to do with them (a bone of contention for me)
    3. Declutter some video game stuff
    4. Move the TV console
    5. Hang the TV in the new place.

So, a lot to work on. I'm excited about how it will look when we're done, but seems a daunting task right now

oooo, I'm excited for you, too !! Can't wait to see what it looks like after.

Yea, the weight really is about calories, no matter how much you read about all these other factors. Too few calories, and you set your metabolism into hoarding mode. Too many calories, and your metabolism is busy packing it away for starving times. Our bodies really aren't designed to have plentiful food always available, they're optimized for feast and famine seasons.

I loved looking at the weight graph on my Fitbit when I was on my downward streak for those 18+ mos, starting in late 2021. I'd go through plateaus sure, but never up bumps. I've lost about 20 lbs since May, but really I lost that the first few months. I've been flat lining since about November.

My fault. I think I'll buckle down on my freggie and arithmancy challenges over the next few months.

I got a greens load in today. And a whites load. Pretty funny that we had a greens load. I guess it was the color this Christmas/winter. Eric and I both had lots of new green things. I saved them all to wash separately, so they wouldn't stain other things for the first wash. Funny thing, one of the darker ones stained one of the lighter ones with blotches of green. Not in a pretty way, but in a weird way. It's a lighter colored skin hugging, water wicking under layer shirt, good for winter, or working out. So, I'm not toooo worried about it. I threw it in the bleaches to see what would happen. I'd rather have blotches of white than blotches of dark green on it. It's kind of a bright sky blue-sea green-y color. Clouds would work. LOL !

Greens? AWESOME! Keep them for St. Patrick's day! Interesting about the blotches, will be interested to see the final product after the bleach wash!

Got up on time this morning, but have been working on getting my list straight for Hogwarts this morning, drinking coffee and relaxing a little. It's now 8;30, I have to leave at 1:30 to go to the hospital for mom, so I have a few things to do!
    Plan (in this order)
    1. Start Darks
    2. 1 hour walk (need to get this in so I can have a jump on the rest of the day!)
    2. 50 punches, 50 crunches, 100 forward arm circles, 25 wall pushups
    3. Read 30 minutes
    4. Pick up bathrooms
    5. Find a new recipe to try
    6. Shower
    7. Get crochet stuff together for the hospital
    8. Get darks in dryer/fold dark clean clothes

Yes, it's ambitious list for the short day I have, but I feel confident! I'll check in throughout the day!

Remember when we used to do cleaning bingo- or something like that? Wonder if we want to do that? Maybe make a bingo card of where you want to focus on for the week, and then try to accomplish it by the end of the week? I could have AI help me create some badges for completion! :)

LOL I know, weird to have a GREENS load, right?! lol ~ Well, the bleach sort of 'brightened' the splotches, so I have sea green splotches. No new cloud/white splotches added. I might add it to another bleach load, see if the splotches lighten/brighten more :D

Sureeeee that sounds great ! (The completion game. )

I love that you crochet! My Mom sort of taught us when we were kids, but I never made more than a row of crocheted yarn :p

Today's our Sunday here. Still the weekend ^-^

LOL you don't sound so enthused! LOL Anyone else have any ideas about games we can play?

Crochet 30 min 3 times is on my bingo card because I really like doing it, but never take the time, since I will be at the hospital a while, figured this is as good a time as any to get started on a blanket for Hannah and Jonah for their Christmas present! Time to learn a new (easy) stitch!

    1. Start Darks
    2. 1 hour walk (need to get this in so I can have a jump on the rest of the day!)
    2. 50 punches, 50 crunches, 100 forward arm circles, 25 wall pushups
    3. Get darks in dryer/fold dark clean clothes
    4. ***Bonus points*** Started lights in washer
    3. Read 30 minutes
    4. Pick up bathrooms also did sw/sw :) Go ME!
    5. Find a new recipe to try
    6. Shower
    7. Get crochet stuff together for the hospital
    8. Eat a hardy lunch

Oh, OK! :) We can run it Tuesday-Saturday if that works better for you! Start thinking about what you want to accomplish this coming week- make each square small and achievable! Maybe make babysteps for 1 room or 1 focus (like the shelves?) I'll start a new thread called "Weekly Bingo" and will post a plain bingo sheet for people to use!

    1. Start Darks
    2. 1 hour walk (need to get this in so I can have a jump on the rest of the day!)

I'm in ! And yes, Tue - Sat is better, for sure. Xx

    Good Morning!
Thanks! Without that list I would not have gotten done what I did!
Mom will be coming home today, her procedure went well but had to stay overnight due to how late it was when she got done. Stacey and dad will pick her up in a few hours

Back to work today, had an attitude adjustment with my bible reading yesterday, so that's good.
Since it's already Tuesday, I'm going to start bingo next week, maybe. I'll see if I can get it filled out today. Trying to decide what my focus should be this week: Bedroom or Family room. My heart says bedroom because it's soooooo bad, but my head says family room so we can start getting things set up for the new couch we want to order.

I have a headache-ish today. I think it's more allergy related and I don't know why. I go to the dentist this morning in an hour, so I started work early. I think I'll take a benadryl. My sleep score was 93, so I'm surprised I'm feeling this run down. Maybe the stress of the day yesterday?

That's wonderful, sleep score 93, Mom coming home, Bible reading and attitude adjustment ! Hope the Benadryl helps!

heh ~ not a bad point on this week and Hogwarts ;-). 5h 59m sleep, sleep score 79. Better than yesterday at least :p

Warmup here today! And it's going to last through the whole 10-day forecast!! woooooo hooooooo. Highs in the 30s and even some middle 40s on a few days. Next storm coming midweek will be rain for us, on the coast. More snow inland.

LOL Highs in the 30's and 40's…… Today it was 66 feels like 55 from the amount of wind we had!

Got a couple 3 mile walks in today- one during work while doing training, one just a little bit ago.

The dentist sucked- she shaved down 4 more teeth so they can move, so my front bottom teeth HUUUURT when I take my invisalign out to eat. She also clipped my inner lip a couple times with the drill bit, so that's swollen and hurting! :( I'm all sorts of jacked up! :) LOL Oh well,

Looking forward to a nice sleep tonight, then tomorrow I will plan out my list from my 2 spreadsheets and get moving on it!

Good morning! Whew! Spring has sprung! My allergies are acting up the last couple days! Time for my daily med! That's another reason I want to focus on the bedroom, I'm sure there's a lot of dust in there that needs to be gone!

Ok, I have an ambitious day ahead of me, but I'm not going anywhere today, so….. here it goes (in no particular order this morning:

    1. Finish unloading dw, and reload
    2. 300 punches
    3. Dumbbell workout (strength, 30 min)
    4. Bag up give away clothes
    5. Crochet for 30 minutes
    6. make bed
    7. 50 crunches, 25 wall pushups
    8. Darks/fold lights
    9. Wipe down Windowsills
    10. Load DW before bed, wipe down counters
    11. Get everything off bedroom floor
    12. Vacuum bedroom
    13. 15,000 Steps

Oh, I forgot… My Senior Director (my boss for the last 3+ years) announced yesterday his last day is this coming Thursday. Everyone's a bit shell shocked, but also not surprised. There was not a place for him on the other side, so I'm glad he found a place to land. Thanked him for all he taught me and all he allowed me to do to grow and learn. I know he'll do great things at the next place, but such a sign of how things are going. The next few weeks may be interesting to see what happens to our team or if they'll just keep us on the path that is already laid out.

I talked to Scott about my daily list and asked if he wanted me to share daily what I want to accomplish so he can see what I need done for the day and he has an idea of what I need help with. He agreed, so I put my house list on the fridge white board. Will see if it actually helps, but he seemed excited about it! LOL
