My focus until Feb is to get my act together in my head. I'm assembling all my 'tools', and am getting ready to FLY :)

    Thanks for doing this, Jennywren!

I'm glad to have a place for support again! I need it sooooo bad! I'm going to go get my dishwasher going and do a little pickup on the kitchen (It still looks terrible), but tomorrow is another day!

I did my 15 mins for our Hogwarts Challenge earlier today, and you can't even tell I did it ๐Ÿคฃ. I'm fasting this week, tho, so I'm staying out of the kitchen otherwise. Maybe some bathroom work tmw. We'll see.

Yeah, that's why I'm going in there too :) My focus tomorrow is the Family Room and Darks. I did 30 minutes in 1 bathroom yesterday and got it mostly done, but didn't get to the other one. There's always next week!

I could spend a full day in the bathroom. We installed some shelves in the fall, and I bought some organizer things for all the *kitten* in there, but implementation and completion awaits ;-). I got covid (for the 1st time) at the end of Oct, had it for 23 days, then directly followed with another 9 days of a (different) viral throat infection. Eric's Dad took a turn for the worse, so we booked tix for him to spend 6 weeks there, and well, the fall disappeared. Can't let winter disappear, too!

yeah, last year was a blur, with everything going at warp speed about October to December. I still have some catching up to do, for sure! Ok, setting my timer for 15 minutes!

Just got your PM - that's awesome. Love the pic. Was it a fun cruise? WTG 5k, and having your day's focus set and ready! I am in the zone of Day 4 of my fast. Getting ready to attend my daily Coach-led Zoom support session in a half hour. I should probably work on some laundry with you. I've got darks hanging on the rack (for several days now, they're def dry, lmao). They need to be put through the dryer to soften up, then folded and put away. And maybe a whites load, we'll see. I may do a chunk in the bathroom this afternoon.

I have a 1K walk on my Calendar (for my Hogwarts Bingo Card) for today, and last night, was mulling going to the gym for a 5m Indoor Cycling, even tho it's not on my Calendar until Saturday. We'll see. Walking and cycling are ok during a fast, but not strenuous exercises. Not sure if I want to do both today. Probably shouldn't. :)

Mostly my plan is continuing my digital organization. I still have some Calendar entries to make, a journal entry to record, and a spreadsheet to update. I'm getting ready for next month. January has been my plotting and planning month. :)

I have done a terrible job today, I have so much guilt because I work from home, I should be doing more when I have an opportunity (at lunch, stretch break, etc). I get off at 4, Scott at 5, so today I will do 30 minutes of cleaning on the family room, as well as start darks.

I've been lost in rabbit holes all day :p

I wanted to use my ipad mini to can some pages from my new planners, but first I wanted to download google photos app, so I could back up to my Google One account. (I'm not an Apple person, I have a Pixel phone, tablet, and an HP laptop). I got my iPad in May '22, mainly bc the entire rest of my family are Apple people, so I wanted to get an Apple ID, to use occasionally, FaceTime, etc. I barely use it, so it's in perfect condition, but it's an iPhone Mini 4, and the Google Photos app requires iPad OS 16, in order to download the Google Photos app. And the Mini will not downnload iPad OS 16 - hardware not compatible.

So frustrated!! I need to back up, bc it's getting filled, but my backup storage is in the Google ecosystem, not iCloud. So, basically I need to either buy Apple storage, too, or a new iThing, and I'm annoyed at both options. LOL

I really don't like Apple. My Pixel gets updates for years !

Anyway, no guilt, Jennywren. Progress not perfection, right? :)

LOL Yeah, I finally got my iPhone figured out so I could put my pictures on my computer instead. Now I need to just keep it cleaned up! LOL It's almost 4:30 and I haven't done anything. I need to find my iPad. I got it several years ago and mainly use it for a laptop when I stay with my parents or we go on vacations. I want to use it more this year, get my digital planner on it again (I use goodnotes and a template I got off etsy).

Ahhh, I'm so interested in planners this season! :)

Just finished updating Calendar for 6 mini Maine getaways we have planned for this yr :). Joined a new Conqueror Virtual Challenge, too :). The admin in the Facebook Support Community was starting a 'community' on the Conqueror App (as well as a Messenger Chat) for a new kind of challenge Conqueror is doing, that just dropped today.

It's a History based challenge, focusing on 2,000 yrs ago - Caesars & Emperers, 52 mi, 22 virtual postcards (I think it was). I switched my Fitbit Daily Steps from The Silk Road (2 yrs, 3,000 miles) to this one. I figured it would be the perfect way to understand the app and the various communities, if I followed along with a couple veterans :).

Still working on my 'breakfast'. Prolon Minestrone & Quinoa Soup. Minestrone ones are my least favorite. Day 4 baby!

Oh yea, I downloaded the Messenger app to my phone, too, so I could follow along :)

(I really like that I'll be able to follow along without loading up Facebook, bc I don't like socials. Not a fan of Messenger, either, but I do want to be part of the Conqueror Community :), so ... Messenger it is!)

Also, my rabbit hole digging may have turned up a solution for my older hardware problem:

    https://appleinsider.com/inside/ipados-16/tips/how-to-get-old-apps-for-ipad-that-cant-run-ipados-16

The bottom part says that if you log into a newer iPad with your Apple ID, and download the app you want, then log back into your older iPad and go to your past purchases, you should be able to download an older (and therefore still compatible with your older hardward) version of the app. Eric has the mini 6, so I'll have to try it on his. Assuming of course that I won't screw up his iPad by logging in with my Apple ID :p. We'll see, I guess! He's working now, so I can't do it now.

Trying to get my last few steps in so I can hit 10,000 tonight, and it's slow going! LOL I did get the dishwasher un/reloaded, big dishes washed, wiped down a couple counters. Kitchen still isn't beautiful, but getting there! Every bit counts!

I'm going to do 15 minutes in the family room and see if I can get the last 134 steps! LOL

Well done, Jenny! I got a 2.51 mi, 1h 0m 'fake stepping' walk in earlier today (bum knee). Other than that, I'm working on my Prolon FMD soup 'lunch' atm (even tho it's 9:30pm, lol). Today's soups are 2 of my least favorite.

I watched some YouTubes with Dr. Longo while I was 'walking' in place, tho, so that was interesting, and passed the time.

You got those last 134 steps, that's only 90 seconds! :D

Yep! got those last 134 steps in, but didn't touch the family room! hahahaha. It's still full of crap from the kitchen remodel. We got the exercise room cleaned up from the remodel, but not the family room. Maybe I'll focus on it this weekend. Today's focus is our bedroom and sheets/blankets. I didn't walk this morning, my fibro is flaring for some reason.

How many more days of the fast do you have?

Last day! I just wrote a long post to you in Hogwarts Slytherin Fireplace Chat, then realized I wasn't here, but there, oh well, I posted it there ๐Ÿคฃ. Oooooo, fibro flare :(. Be gentle with yourself! ๐Ÿค. I'll grab the other post and copy/paste here *grin*

Copy/paste of other post. (And, btw, WTG on posting your bills and plan to pay them on your Calendar! That's a big job done!

    Copy/paste:

Good morning! Or, afternoon, now. Just got done with my Prolon Zoom Support Session. I got 3h 21m sleep last night (and ~4h sleep every night of my 5D fast so far :p). I'm wired, tho, so it's all good. Love Day 4, 5, and 6 energy, even if it can be focus-based energy rather than activity-based energy! lol !

I'll be actually attempting to fly after we return from our spa weekend (Sun-Tue). I'm loving the inspiration you're giving tho!!

My focus today - 25 squats (for my Hogwarts Fit Deck Card Game Challenge), getting my steps (I'm avg 10k+, so need to maintain that for the last 3 days of the week (F-S-S), and continuing digital cleanup/plotting/planning.

I couldn't sort my iPad old hardware (Mini 4, dammit! I've only had it since 2022 ๐Ÿ˜ซ, and can't download OS 16, which I need, in order to download Google Photos app! argh!), so I bought a freaking rgular iPad yesterday. I still don't get why the bigger regular iPad is less expensive than the mini, but I was trying to limit cost, so regular iPad it is~! I got a renewed 10th gen 256g wifi/cellular on Amazon, and a 3rd party renewed pencil, and a 3rd party new folio magic keyboard thing. iPad is medium smoky blue-ish, folio is bright lavendar, I think they'll be 'okay-ish' together. LOL !! Besides, on my spreadsheet, I have my Exercise section shaded lavendar-ish, and my weight loss section shaded bright light blue-ish, and I thought I could take the iPad with its bigger screen to Planet Fitness with me, to watch vids while Indoor Cycling, so it's all good.

Ooops, just noticed this post is in Fireside Chat, and not the Fly group, Jenny. Oh well, it works here too. heh

(Still kinda wired from the fast/lack of sleep this week! lol!)

Awwww ! Go, Jenny, Go! I'm rooting you on!

I've just been browsing on Audible and Amazon (Kindle). I was considering picking up the Prisoner of Azkaban for Hogwarts bookclub, but they're coming out with re-mastered full-cast versions of both narrators' versions, starting in late '25, so I didn't want to spend a credit :p. I thought Audible had the Hogwarts books to stream for free, but it must have been just a limited time thing.

I did pick up Code Name Helene for next Friday's (not MFP) Book Club. And I added some more kindles to series that I already owned some of, in classic novels (Upton Sinclair and Sinclair Lewis, lol funny about the double Sinclair thing going on there).

My 'breakfast' soup is in the mic. (yuck Minestrone, lol)

Nice job on the books! Scott already had Prisoner of Azkaban on audible, so I'm listening my way through that. I'm trying to get better at reading books, but I struggle with reading. I'm finding Audible is helping me a lot! I find, though, that I want a hard copy for self-help books so I can write in them! :)

That breakfast doesn't sound fun! I'd rather just fast for 5 days! hahahaha :) But that's just me....Different things work for different people, so if it's helpful for you, then go for it! :)

Got my 5k done after work. I'm really hungry today. Scott's out to get us some dinner. I've hit my 10,000 steps already! I have the sheets in the dryer and the comforter started in the washer.

    Well done, Jenny!

Hopefully when I return from our spa getaway on Sunday, I won't be so wired, lol. I'm not sleeping! I just made this post in Fireside Chat:

I slept only 3 hrs again last night. ๐Ÿ™ƒ Prolon is great, I love the reset, but man, I don't sleep during fasting week!

Usually by D8 it evens out (fast is over on D5 (today!), D6 is Transition Day Diet, and D7 is back to normal. I usually still do Transition-ish at least for breakfast (love the avocado toast, olive-oil fried diced tomato & egg, and greens with chopped dates, walnuts, & coconut vinegar!) on D7, but by dinner it's back to normal.

This is this week - today is Day 5 (woop!), (no data for Mon, but it was just under 4 hrs in bed, not sure how much asleep/awake, tho. Thank goodness I got a full sleep on Sunday! ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿค

Good Morning! Hope you're having a great time! Today I'm getting Scott to put Christmas in the attic, we're going to Costco. Focus today should be walls/baseboards, but will be the kitchen/dining/hallways since I'm still struggling with them.
