oooo, pretty new towels! Good thinking on delay wash. Yay Scott for helping!

Eric helped me make chili tonight. He finishes work early on Saturdays, so that's nice. He just left to go let Katie's fur pile (canine section, lol) out. Katie texted last minute and asked for help with her animals, she was going to an overnight bday party. I am soooooo tired. Only slept 4h 43m last night, but I had a late dinner, and don't like to go to sleep too soon after eating. Considering heading outside for a snow clearing sesh. We got more coming tonight, and the last one ain't all cleared yet 🙃

Been busy-ish this morning. Decided I'm good with not walking today at all, I only need 2845 steps to hit my weekly goal, and I know I'll get more than that just by cleaning/cooking/going to friends.

Towels are folded, on my dining room table. One of my focuses this week is to clean out and declutter my bathroom closet so I can fit the towels in there. It's time to do this!

I cubed up chicken and beef today, can be used several ways this week for meals.
Other things I need to make this week:
Garlic Parm chicken wings I was going to make this week but didn't get the wings in time- this is a new/unique recipe that calls for cooking them in the crockpot before air-frying them
    Boneless pork ribs
Split up the big pork shoulder we got to make 4 portions. We can cook or smoke them later. I don't like having a huge one, we can't get through it all.
Scott's got some steaks for us to have before we go to the party, then the rest will go in the freezer.
I cooked up a bunch of bacon yesterday.

Since we are leaving for the weekend Friday night, I want to get a few things done around here this week.
    1. finish cleaning kitchen/dining
    2. sweep/mop kitchen/dining/hallways
    3. clean hallways
    4. get rid of rug under table (It's too thick)
    5. keep bathrooms clean
    6. sweep/mop bathrooms
    7. Pack for the weekend- figure out what food I'll be taking. I am sure we'll be eating dinner with my parents every night, so.... Not sure what I need to take yet
    8. I would LOVE to have my bedroom clean, but I think this list will have to do for now.

On a side note, I am now convinced it was my cat causing my sleep disturbances. I've changed a little how I sleep (sitting up for a couple hours, facing away from her if she does climb up on my pillow, more aware and tap her nose if she tries to lick me or rub my face). My sleep score the last 3 nights was 83!!! getting better!

Ok, off to shower and start getting ready! Hope you are able to get some rest today! Shoveling sounds like a full time job right now! YIKES!

Ohhh, good insight, on the cat and sleep, J!

My week is def going to be the bathroom. And I have to get UTD on my Excel class. PT for my knee starts on Wed. And yea, on shoveling. We have another foot and a half coming by next Sunday, in four batches. :/ (It's February in Maine!)

I have 5 recipes from Classroom 2A that I picked out, and want to make. I made 4 this week, hoping to make the other 5 next week. Plus John Legend's Mac & Cheese :D.

And ... the stupid laptop. Have to get it returned, and shop for another. And Eric and I have a movie date for tmrw night (hopefully!). I have it on my Bingo Card, yanno. Gotta cross it off 😁.

I have 3 at-home PT exercises, 2 weights machines workouts, and 2 flex workouts to cross off as well.

Eric did the porch, and the path to the compost bin just a bit ago. I haven't shoveled at all yet today. Maybe tonight, but maybe not til tmw, we'll see. Depends on when the plow guy comes, maybe.

Plus I 'adopted a stop', on our city's bus stop routes. I have to get that shoveled out, too. I've 'adopted 'my' stop' for over 10 yrs now. Maybe over 15? Not sure ...

Shoveling is SUCH a great workout. I mostly love shoveling snow. But not so much in such quick succession. And shoveling the 'plow dunes' at that edge of the driveway and bus stop are never fun. The plow dunes are such heavy, packed snow. 😰

So, we went to friends for the Super Bowl last night-9 people other than me and Scott- and started talking to them that I really don't expect the job I'm doing right now to be around by June 30, that I really need to get my certs under my belt and start looking in earnest for a new job. To that end, this week at work I'm going to finish the last 9.5 hours of LinkedIn Learning about the job I want to get into, and sign up for the 2 weekend classes I need for my certs. I've got to get this done! Scott makes decent money, but I make more by far, so I don't want to be unemployed right now with all that's going on.

Hannah and Jonah finished their first room of the condo, I really love the flooring they picked out! They are keeping it simple by painting the walls white, which is JUST fine with me!

While I'm working through my LinkedIn Learning (it's videos), I will be working on my office today, bathroom/bedroom tomorrow.

Adopting a stop sounds wonderful! Do you only keep the snow cleared, or do you upkeep it the rest of the year too? Enjoy your movie date! It's on the Bingo card, it MUST be done! You just gave me an idea for the next bingo card! hahahahaha Good luck with your Excel class and PT, I really hope PT helps with your knee!

Work starting in 6 minutes, so....POOF!

Loving all of that message, J! Rock on, FLYsistah!

Happy Monday. I've got snowclearing to do :p. Hubby's already done a couple patches. I said I'd start at noon, so, in about 20 mins.

Having my protein tea. I got a late start today. Late exercise has been messing with my circadian rhythm, which is all too easy to 'break'. Gotta crack down on that, before it spirals out of control again. Fasting week is in 2 weeks. That seems to help me reset again - I don't sleep during it, but I get up so early. And that flows into the following week, early wakeups help foster earlier sleeps.

    Poof to my protein tea!

Edit: Oh, PS, the 'adopt a stop' is supposed to be year-round deal, but in practice, it's just the snow clearing, for the most part.

Showered, and cozy clothed! Sipping my 2nd protein tea of the day. I got a good snow clearing workout in. I downed 18z of water when I came in, and a plate of fruit (banana, orange, kiwi). Then I hit the shower. Eric is making us onion - red pepper - shaved steak - provolone cheese flatbread rollups. He picked out a movie for tonight, Companion. I haven't read what it's about yet.

We missed the matinee (too bad, I do love a deal, lol) b/c of snow clearing, and doc appts for hubby. (Lab - Vit D check, and eyes - he's T1 Diabetic, so it's important to get them checked every year. All good, no diabetic retinopothy!)

I'm over 20k steps for today. Good thing it's a Quidditch week~! lol We have more snow coming Wed into Thu, and Sat into Sun. Still have more to clear up tmw, but most of it is done. Hubby did 2 snow clearing sesh's this am.

    Fruit plate! ~

I already ate the banana ... heh

Shaved steak, onion, red pepper, provolone cheese flatbread! ~

Wow! You had a busy day! I got my second walk done after work, my unofficial goal this week is 12,000 steps/day, thinking about making it my unbreakable vow (84,000 steps per week)?

I did 30 minutes cleaning in my office while listening to my training. It doesn't look much different to Scott, but I can see a difference. I'm also pondering a room re-do, but will work up to it. I have a long way to go and a lot to declutter/throw out.

I ordered new dining room chairs for us today from Amazon. The ones we have right now are just too big and too heavy for the space, so I think these will do better (I hope they do!).

Scott's getting the island cleaned off so I can package up some meat tonight. I still need to figure out what's for dinner. I have a lot of calories to play with, and I'm hungry, so will see what happens. :)

    My lunch today…

Oh, look at those, are those the chicken cheese waffles that you make? They're so cute! What are the balls? They look like peanut butter protein balls I see so often, but I know they can't be, b/c you're carnivore.

The chairs look SO comfortable. I hope they are as comfy as they look. Def lmk, after they arrive :)

We had the whole theater to ourselves :D. I wore my sherpa slippers, my pajamagram cozy clothes, my long green slytherin-ish sweatshirt/robe/coat ... and I brought my blanket! ha!

The theater are the new kind, with tons of space, recliner seats, way fewer rows. I think there's one row for every three of the kind of theaters that I grew up with. Super comfortable. Up to 24,502 steps now :p. Lots of steps with snow clearing. I can't lift heavy loads, so I make many passes, with lighter loads.

I haven't changed my steps goal since I set it, in July '21. I think I'm sticking with 10k forever. I'm happy when I exceed it, but I think it's a good goal. Some of my stepping crew used to use 12k/day, tho. It's another common goal, not sure why, but it is :).

I dripped on my cozy clothes sherpa cowl neck when I was eating my shaved steak-veggie-cheese flatbread rollup. Didn't realize it until I was washing my hands in front of the mirror, at the theater 😐 .... so, I 'Shouted' it, and am running a wash now. Otherwise, I'm pretty chill, still feeling worn out (but in a good way) from the afternoon. I really enjoy the zen and quiet of moving snow. heh
