4p checkin! At PF, first half of ST done. Water & frootie break, then 2nd half.
Picked up stuff from supermarket and put the shepherd's pie, and broccoli on before I left. Pie bakes for 60 mins. İt was supposed to be peas & carrots side, but store left them off order, so I took frozen broccoli out of the freezer, seasoned with TJ's Chili lime Seasoning spice,candy put them in oven too.

Happy Saturday! Yesterday was a very active day. My ring died at 7:30 0pm and 34,000 steps, so I'm guessing I got closer to 40,000. Today is an active rest day. I will get an epsom salt bath, will use my far infrared mat, get things cleaned up, finish up my required activities for summer camp.
We were going to go to parents tomorrow, but Scott has D&D, and they can't do it today, so I will be actively resting.

Happy Sunday! Active rest day was nice yesterday! I did get an epsom salt bath and that helped soooo much. While looking for a certain binder (for cooking, planning) I have around here, I found I actually have 2 books of Atomic Habits now! LOL So, I asked Scott if he wanted to read it with me and we can discuss, and he agreed! He's listened to the introduction (while showering). and read the first chapter. Lots of good conversations already happening!
Yesterday while we shopped around I found a cheap big spiral notebook and grabbed it because I want to start planning things more, and journaling, and those are things I just like to do on paper. I don't have to get on an electronic device to see plans/goals. So, did some writing in it today. Planning some videos I want to record and release, how I will do it, etc. Then I transferred some of that to a habit tracker in my digital planner and will start using that tomorrow. I have also planned meals for the next week, so that's cool. Only a few things will be needed, can get the rest out of my freezer! Wheeeee
We got Scott's truck a new battery- $300! UGH He's got to go into work this week because of a project that is going on, so he can take my car (better gas mileage) and I still have a form of transportation if I need it! :)
Today I will clean up from Friday - I was so sore and exhausted yesterday, I just couldn't. Scott's going to D&D with his buddies tonight, so he's leaving in about 2.5 hours. Then I will get a walk in and do some crochet for a little bit.

Got the dishwasher running, the grounding mat back on the bed, submitted points, etc, ordered the new pull out shelves for the island. Not as many as I wanted, but have to account for plumbing and ease of accessing plumbing, so will only put it in 3 areas. I got one that is for "lids/baking sheets", and 2-2 shelf. the ends are only 7 inches, so they aren't huge, but something, and the other one will be 14.5 inches, so that's good. I'll figure out what to do with the other one eventually.
Scott's off to D&D- it started at 4 instead of 6 like usual, so hopefully he gets home sooner! I think I will get another bath just because! :)

Hello, Happy Sunday ! Just back from PF, closed it down tonight, lol.
I had a GREAT workout! I don't think I've ever felt so good after a workout before! Everything just worked ! I've been doing lateral and forward lunges on double-stacked weights plates, b/c steps are too high (I was almost in tears at the end, and it was taking up to 10 minutes to do 20 reps each exercise, each leg…). So, the lower height was helping, but it was still heavily assisted by holding onto a window sill. WELL! Today it only took 3 mins for those exercises AND I did them unassisted for the first time! yesss ….
THEN, on the abductor machine, I only just moved up to 60 lbs from 40 lbs in June. Well, the person before me had it set to 70 lbs, and I didn't realize it at first, but once I did, I just continued away. Got those 2 sets of 15 reps done, baybee!
And then, after that!, I got on the indoor bike. I wasn't even sure I was going to do a cardio sesh, too, but I did. Got 5.02 miles in 24:02 mins! Best time yet!
Yesssss. It all just worked! and I feel great!!
I see your posts, gonna eat dinner, then come back and read. Just wanted to share my euphoria, lol.

I have put my July focus tasks (9!!!) on my board so that I can see it daily (it's right by my desk). I've started the video'ing today. It's tough. I don't want my phone attached to my hand, but I know I have a lot of videos I want to do, so I have to! :) I've been wanting to build my channel back up, and right now seems to be the right time. Still trying to decide if I want to start another channel "taking my life back" and keep the original channel just for cooking videos- and moving the older videos not related to cooking over to the new channel, or just removing them forever. Thoughts?
I will be video'ing all this month and won't release anything until August, so I have time to figure it out. I want to get some videos built up so I don't have to feel crammed every week to get a video out every week. I'm planning on making some folders on my computer to upload videos to, have projects in my editing software to do daily editing so it's not as hard to pull 30 days of stuff together.

Those sound so inspiring! I honestly don't know on the channels tho, as I don't have one. It sounds like work to maintain two channels with fresh content, but then again, I like having different journals for different focus areas, so there is that !

Just got back from a 30 min walk with Scott outside. It was sweaty, but breezy at the end as a storm is coming in! The neighbors across the street are getting a new roof today, hopefully they can get it done before the bad looking stuff comes!

I've got a headache today, but did get a 30 min walk at lunch. For some reason my ring recorded the walk, but not the distance/calories/steps. I'm bummed. Well, I know I did it!
*update- updated my ring, rebooted the app, then the app was down. it's back up but I feel like I'm missing a lot of steps. oh well!
Watching TV while Scott does extra work. Thinking about getting out my far infrared mat tonight, but who knows… LOL

We are meeting Hannah and Jonah (her husband) at Dollywood on Saturday, I can't wait to see her! Especially since Jonah has set this all up as a "surprise" and she knows nothing about it! I tell ya, if it weren't for him we would not have her! He's such a good man!
I like to intermittent fast, but it really doesn't seem to be the magic pill for me unless I do extended fasting, but then my body rebels and I inhale food for a week. So, This week I am trying 20:4- 20 hours fasting 4 hours eating window. The difference between this and OMAD is I have 4 hours to accomplish meeting my protein/fat goals instead of one meal and being super stuffed and have bad sleep. So, I'm opening my eating window at 2-6 (actually 3-7 due to work things). It seems to be working, I'm shifting the vacation weight back down! I hope it continues!

Happy Wednesday! Sorry I didn't check in yesterday. Knees are feeling good today, not like last week where they were not quite right all week, until my great workout on Sunday. The air like clear mud feature has disappeared, opened the windows in the br this morning, and turned off the AC, for the first time since … Sat, maybe? Can't remember.
Sleep is haywire this week, tho. I didn't wake until after 10 yesterday (and I had told my neighbor I'd take him to 11a doc appt!). Today, I was awake until 4:58a, I woke up at 11:14! ooof, once I break my sleep routine that I worked so hard on, my circadian rhythm goes crazy! :p
Liking the list, and intersting on the 4-hr eating window vs OMAD! I'm really feeling like I need my Prolon Fast, but I didn't get it done before knee injections started, and now have to wait until 2 weeks after last injection (which is next week). Really, probably, that'll be 2nd week of Aug, bc we have Ren Fair the last 2 weekends in July, and the 1st weekend in Aug.
Need to do kitty litters! Skipped them yesterday :eek:, and Eric is pet sitting at Katie's again.

Glad to hear the injections weren't as bad as last week! Sorry about the sleep being haywire! Just keep plugging along. I am working to improve my sleep score and find that Magensium (glycinate and L-theonate) are somewhat effective 30-60 minutes before bed. I am going to start adding breathing for 10 minutes before bed to the routine soon (maybe even tonight! lol)
You're doing better than me on the kitty litter. Will put that on my list for today! I really need to get into a routine with this! How's your power hour going today?
I ended up grouchy yesterday. The lady at work is back from vacation and every day spends at least an hour telling me how pissed she is about this company. I had to LOL yesterday when she said she was working with someone who is "very verbose, I couldn't get a word in edge-wise" when I ended up having to put in chat with her that I had a few minutes before a meeting and had to go because she was talking so much! hahahaha
Then Scott had to go into work yesterday, he called about 5pm said he was going to write a "quick" email and be on his way. Then 2 hours later I had to call him to ask where he was. I was UNhappy. Hung up on him before saying angry words- it is his job after all and he's having to work a lot more hours right now so I'm sure he's tired and grumpy. So I texted him that I shouldn't have to call him after 2 hours to find out if he's alive, he should have called 30 min in and told me he's having issues with the email, people coming in, etc. LOL So, I went to bed at 9 and woke up with a better attitude.
I got the bookshelf moved back into the exercise room and the new TV I ordered back on top so I can use my treadmill instead of having to sweat it out outside for walks. I'll still sweat, but not near as much! :)
I did get my laundry washed/dried/hung, but not folded/put away, that will be today. I got the dw un/reloaded/started before bed. Forgot my night supplements AGAIN!

I didn't do great on my list yesterday, so will try to do better today…. Tomorrow we go to Dollywood to surprise Hannah! I can't wait! I was using ChatGPT yesterday and got some GABA and took it at bedtime along with my 2 Magnesiums. I also did my far infrared mat and meditation right before bed. Sleep score went from 79 to 88!!! I'll take it! :)

Happy Monday! It was a busy weekend! It was so nice seeing Hannah and Jonah! Kept up my walking streak, so I'm on day 8! Really didn't want to yesterday, just wanted to hang out and relax from all the driving, but did it anyway. Felt good after I was done! Proud of myself for sticking with it!
This week will be crazy for a few reasons. Scott's still working tons of hours, my dad's carotid artery surgery is Thursday, as is my migration, so lots of moving parts! I will focus on the challenge and housework to keep me grounded!
I found my crochet pattern book, so I now remember how to do the blanket pattern I choose, so started work back on it this weekend!
Saturday I got 15,000+ steps!

Today was knee injection day, last of 4 weekly injections. Today was just the right knee, 3rd of 3. Also! today I'm meeting up with Flypeep Kelly from Florida! She and Kevin were in northern/midcoast Maine for a family wedding last week. They arrived in Portland yesterday afternoon. I already had Eastern European meal (for Hogwarts, lol) planned for last night, so we're meeting up today. Late lunch, late dinner, drinks after …. maybe all three, we'll see if Kel & Kev have energy for a full day :).
No Power Hour for me today, but I promise you one for tomorrow! (I'm supposed to rest my knee/no exercise for 24-48 hrs, but it's not looking like that will happen. Anyway, knees were better during the first week, when I flubbed that instruction, so maybe ignoring it today and tomorrow will be better :D.

Hello, Happy Tuesday! Out and about, running errand all morning. Yesterday, I clocked 16,492 steps 🙃 - kinda the opposite of 'no exercise for 24-48 hrs' ;-). But, you know what? Just like week 1, my knee feels ok! doesn't hurt and feel swollen, full, and stiff, like it did all week during weeks 2 & 3 !
I am kinda tired tho :p.
Having my leftover lobster grilled cheese sammie for lunch. Might take a rest day …. dunno, we'll see.

Happy Wednesday! So glad you had such a good day with Kelly and Kev! They are so sweet! That sure was a lot of steps for someone who's supposed to be taking it easy! LOL Sounds to me like you made the right move with that, IJS. I bet you are very tired!
The last 2 days at work have been …. interesting… I'm making a lot of documents because the team we are integrating with has JUST started sharing documentation with us, and it is terrible. Tomorrow is the big day, but I will be on PTO for Dad's surgery.
Scott's migration at work has ramped up, he's working 12 hour shifts and will probably have to do some on the weekend too, he's got 240+ computers to migrate and he's got about 50 done. He's got to manually migrate them, but also keep up with other problems reported (like computers crashing, etc).
Today he was up at 5, so I got up too (my alarm was going to go off at 5;30) and got an hour on the treadmill done! Really proud of my progress! At lunch instead of a walk I will start strength training!
Time to log in! I'll try to catch up some later!
