Ok! Monday's list! I have already accomplished getting the pepper plants I was gifted this weekend moved into bigger containers. They were in compostable pots, as well, so had to get it done. Hannah said she would want them, so planted them in containers I don't care about leaving my house!
- Change sheets- bed stripped, first load in the wash- I'm doing comforter and mattress pad as well, so 2 loads

rehang closet curtain(that's on our list for reno- the doors came off the tracks because it was so old, so we're using curtains until we get new doors, but other projects were more important- dust

omgosh Happy Tuesday!! How did I miss all these posts!?! wtf … :p
W-T-G you! Well done! I need some of your jazz, badly! :p. I took a neighbor to the doc today, we went for frozen custard after. I ate a 2-scoop frozen custard cup with all the fixins (hot fudge, caramel, pecans, whipped cream, cherry on top) FOR DINNER :o It's flipping raining here again. I think I'm going to hit the gym tonight tho, really want to get my weights circuits in. The ST is finally clicking for me, as in like, I feel like it's a regular feature in my routine, so I want to keep the momentum going. Plus, you know, I just ate a freaking sundae for dinner, so I need to move my butt.
Joined Summer Camp today! The prefect had to tag me, as I was a straggler. oiii …. Not sure dafuq's going on, but I'm emerging from my quiet bubble.

Welcome back! hahahaha. I love your dinner! When I was a kid, every summer (usually one of the hottest days of the summer) my parents would take us to the ice cream place for dinner! It was so exciting! You knew it was going to happen, but not WHEN. LOL Sounds like a great day!
Yay for Summer Camp! I've talked to the Prefects- might skip the first week (got their blessing), but will see how it looks, because Wed-Sun it will be just me and Scott, so will see once they post what requirements are and if I can get them done. I want to be on track this whole semester (I really slacked bad last semester)
I will have my iPad with me, and can get to this site from there, so I expect updates! :) LOL
Yesterday was pretty much a bust. They say you are who you surround yourself with, and at work there's one lady that swings from being excited about her job to being frustrated and sure we're not going to have a job in a month. She's been talking to me a LOT this week, and more than usual yesterday, which I think has brought my mood down. I think I'm excited to go on vacation just so I don't have to listen to her! :) I did get the big appliances moved to the pantry, and some smaller things to under the island. Will have more to do when we get back, but I'm so happy with how it's working out!
I have already un/reloaded DW, washed the Ninja sizzle grill plate (what a mess!), working on cleaning up something that broke yesterday :(

Heyyy now, wait a minute … on last semester. You say you really slacked, but to my mind, you kicked butt! Didn't you obliterate your weight loss goal for the semester? 💪🤗😎✔ That sounds like a reasonable plan for the start of the term, summer challenges are often less intense, with more choices, etc. Tho they really switched it up this year, so maybe it will all be different! I'll just end with, prioritize your you and Scott time, tho! How lovely to have that time all to yourselves, enjoy! Xx
I did get my stretching goal done for the week yesterday, and I did get my PTs done, as well as got in a ST visit to the gym. I did it all verrrryyy late, tho, so I didn't get to sleep until stupid o'clock. Still counting it as a win tho ;-).

And speaking again of ice cream for DINNER, omg that's so flipping adorable that your parents did that when you were kids! My Mom would nevah! have done that, lol. I love it! As for your comment, "They say you are who you surround yourself with … " right!?! So true! Thanks for saying that, always good to remind myself that bringing positivity to my life IS a choice. No need to wallow with the emotional vamps, yea? I wonder if that's why I like the Hogwarts and similar challenges on here, it's def mostly shaded with people who have a 'can do' outlook on life. Sure, there's shades of the other kind, but they're not the dominant color here. At least I think that is so :D

Power Hour complete ! 💪
I spent both 15s in the bathroom. Putting away some stuff (more to do!), filling cleaner & bathroom cleaner bottles, filling my swish container (scrubber in a closed glass bottle that holds cleaning fluid). Plunged the sink to clear a slow drain, cleaned toothbrush holder and other assorted counter top items. Filled sink with bleach water to clean sink, and also to let it flow down the drain after clearing slow emptying.
Got the litter boxes both scooped.
Swished & swiped the bathroom, after cleaners were all refilled, sink drain was plunged a bunch of times, and sink countertop things were cleaned & cleared.
LOL all through the dryer and folded.
Actually got a sweat on, I was jammin'!

I also got some Bingo things done for a challenge, caught up on a thread, fed myself twice, and the kitties once, and laughed a lot at funny kitty memes (had to find funny thing to post, and beach music to post).

Listening to the thunder right now….. :) Thank you for the reminder! Sometimes we focus so much on what we do WRONG we forget about what we did GOOD! I did kick butt on my weight last semester, even though I was a complete "slug" to my estimation the last few weeks. I am up about 2 pounds, which bums me out, but hey…. I weigh a LOT less than I did Jan1… so… all good!
WTG on your power hour and all that you accomplished! Nice job on the exercises/stretching/PF, hopefully you can make it at an earlier time instead of stupid late! :)

I've got darks in the washer waiting for the delay timer :) I got the floor tiles laid back down in the exercise room, and Scott "took back" the exercise room, so in front of the treadmills is empty! a few more thing to do in there, but overall, not terrible. I kept up the dishes all day, started gathering food (non-perishable) on the table for us to pack tomorrow, ordered a delivery from Walmart to round out the food we needed, Scott got the car oil changed, we are gassed up, and he got us dinner.
Ok, heading to bed early so I can get some good sleep tonight before our big day tomorrow!

I'm going to go puzzle for 20 mins for Hogwarts free pass, then finish my Turkish DuoLingo sesh. Did my Turkish Drops sesh on commercial breaks while watching an ep of FBI Most Wanted. (Can't help but see Cole from Charmed every time I look at the lead actor on FBI. lol can't even remember his character's name! Wait, it's Jess. Jess something.)
I think I'm going to continue my power hour every day this week. Hopefully the momentum will carry me forward. Katie's room is still full of all her crap, and she hasn't lived here for 15+ years. I could really use that space! I bought boxes and bags to pack it all up. She can either donate it, or take it, or whatever, but it's flat out ridiculous that it's all still here :p.

OMG YES clean out that room! Imagine the mini gym you could make it into! :) We are so focused on continuing healthy choices that we flipped the gym and the living room, so the big room is our gym (with 2 treadmills and a home gym), and the little room is a theater room with booming bass! :)

Happy Thursday Xx Woke up reaaaaaalllyyyy flipping late. My Fitbit battery was empty when I woke up, but no sleep score. I bet it would have been GREAT! I think I slept for ~ 9 or 9.5 hrs :o. My late night workout earlier this week made the last 2 nights sleep a train wreck. 🤷♀️

Oh! My Fitbit just updated, it only missed the last 20 mins before I got up. 8h 18m (so, not 9hr :p), sleep score 90/Excellent!
Tue was 5h 26m, sleep score 77/Fair, Wed was 6h 31m, sleep score 80/Good, so I needed a good sleep! :D Avg for the week is 6h 47m, sleep score 82, so far.

Update ! 'Power Hour' complete!
Just like yesterday, I got a good sweat on. Today my 15s were also in the bathroom.
I focused on the glass shelves above the toilet and sink, the mirror above the sink (medicine cabinet), and the baseboards behind and on either side of the toilet. I removed and cleaned all the things on the glass shelves. A few things I put in another sinkload of hot water and bleach, after I was done my 15s and my swish and swipe.
Yesterday's 'Power Hour' went over (~ 70 mins) bc I had to replenish and refill all the cleaner bottles (all purpose/general cleaner, bathroom cleaner, and toilet brush cannister (w cleaner for the toilet). Glass cleaner was still full, so no refill needed there ;-). Today's 'Power Hour' came in less than an hour! Swish & swipe sink & toilet was much faster, so I got the litter boxes and swish & swipe done in under 15, plus folding LOL took less than 15 too, so I finished with about 8 min left on my 60 min timer :D.
Having a late lunch. Still need to work on my 'Other' list, tho.

Oh! PS ~ I decluttered the old toilet brush and cannister. No idea why it was still in the bathroom, I bought a replacement for it in Feb :p. Same with toilet seat. I guess maybe I'll put the new toilet seat on tomorrow 🚽

Got a good sweat on doing my ST circuits at PF. Stopped at Trader Joe's after for bananas, and picked up smoked turkey breast & TJ's ridged bbq potato chips, too :o. Don't know where THAT came from, haven't had chips in forever.
Not eating them tonight tho, eating my egg scramble plus a slice of toast, then a banana and some nuts. VERY late dinner for me~! Hope I don't wreck my sleep tonight :p

Friday Power Hour complete! Took the whole hour today (~59 min). Swish & swipe now includes the glass shelves that were cleaned in the previous days, the medicine cabinet mirror, and the toilet base, which was cleaned yesterday. And today's lol fold had more things, so that took a bit longer too. I focused my two 15s in the bathroom again. I found homes for the stuff I cleared off the countertop and glass shelves, started on the glass shelf above the hamper, and the two lower shelves in the wicker cabinet above that, and started on the top shelf of the inside of the medicine cabinet - bc a bunch of the stuff cluttering the glass shelf above the hamper and the lower shelves on the wicker cabinet belonged in there ;-). Got a sweat on again, I kept jammin'!
As for my 'Other' and 'Want to Do'. I guess the 'reward'/'Want to do' on the freggie tracker was more a 'I want this done' rather than an 'I want to do this' situation ;-). I'll get it done tomorrow or Sunday ;-).
I might still get the 20min 'Want to Do' dancing for Hogwarts Free Pass done, and/or get a start on reading Atomic Habits. Not sure. I still have to eat dinner, do my one 7x/wk PTE (Gastroc stretch on Wall, hold for 30 secs, 3 sets, x 2 legs), do my Drops Turkish, my DuoLingo Turkish, and take a shower. So …. dinner first, then I'll see :D.

QOTD: How do you overcome challenges?
The first thing that comes to mind is to pray. Then, it amounts to realizing if there is anything in the challenge in my control. If there is, then I try to get as much information about it as I can make a plan to deal with it. If I don't see any action I can take, then I know the only thing I can control is my reaction to it. So I just put on my big-girl panties and get on with it.

Saturday Power Hour complete! Took more than hour today (~75 min). Is did not wish & swipe the glass shelves that were cleaned in the previous days, but I did include the medicine cabinet mirror, and the toilet base, which was cleaned yesterday. Today's swish & swipe, litter boxes, and laundry lol fold took 26m, but my 15s went way over, to 3+. I unpacked and opened the clear bags I bought last summer, for organizing the wire shelves in an L-shape over the toilet area. Bit of a trick to climb up on the toilet to get the stuff down (I had it bagged in ziplocks as a start on organizing) bc of my knee, but I figured it out. Once I had all the stuff down, I kept going past my two 15s, b/c it wasn't done, and bc it was difficult to climb to, for fetching down :p. I'm going to need a few more of those clear organizing bags. I knew I would, when I bought them, but I wasn't quite sure which sizes and shapes I'd need, so I didn't want to over buy. Good timing (I guess~! :P) cuz Amazon Prime Days are just around the corner again! ;-). Did not get to installing the new toilet seat. I almost did, but I figured I should just start the thing I've been avoiding ('knee' shy!), and get it done, so I took a breath, and did that, rather than the easy thing. Got a sweat on again, I kept jammin'!

PTEs routine, 12 exercises, done. ✔ 38 mins today! Time getting better with those lateral and forward step downs, and reverse lunges! Like last night, I'm not sure on the Atomic Habits, might do, after shower. Dinner done. Turkish Drops and Turkish DuoLingo done. Watched an ep of FBI Most Wanted. Did not get to any other on my 'Other' list, or the 'Want to do' item. Tomorrow's another day :). All that's left is shower, and maybe that reading.

Good Sunday morning ! … it's not Saturday. BUT IT'S FREAKING RAINING!! :p
PTEs routine on the agenda today. Yesterday's was down to 38 minutes, and Thursday's to 39 minutes, from the more typical 45 mins plus! Those lateral and forward stepdowns, and Reverse Lunges aren't the complete terror they had been (tho I am totally using a walking stick to take some of the pressure off my knees on those moves, so there is that!). And PF for an indoor cicling ride. And a stop at the grocery store to pick up a grocery order for an infirm neighbor.
Rain today. The heatwave is going to hit us up here in Maine on Tuesday tho, so I guess I won't moan and groan about another rainy day :p. We had SEVENTEEN rainy Saturdays in a row! until yesterday - broke the streak. But Mother Nature is laughing and raining on Sunday this week ;-).

Sunday Power Hour NOT complete! 😲 Two of five items checked off, and 35:10 min done (laundry folding took longer today, had about a dozen pillow protectors to turn right side out and fold), but I did NOT do my two 15s. I did do an extra one yesterday … but 🤷♀️
I did 2 of 4 items on my 'Other' list (PTEs, sesh; and wash & hang lol). I also did my 'Want to do' (got my Hogwarts tracker utd with pre-term stuff, Unbreakable Vow, etc. In addition, I did a 5.17 mi, 27:26 min indoor cycling ride at PF (not sure why I didn't put that on my list! :p), and picked up online grocery order for infirm neighbor (& put them away).
Shower done, Duo Turkish done, watched an ep of FBI Most Wanted. Have to do my DuoLingo Turkish now, then done. I have a 7:15a x-ray appt for right knee, and 8:30a appt for injection in left knee, and exam on right knee, which is preeettty early for me ;-). It's about a half hour away, so I have to launch by 6:45a. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Happy Monday!!! Wow you have really kicked it in gear while I’ve been gone!1. I love you keep updating the thread. Has something changed because I am only able to update for an hour? Also, have you figured out the spoiler tag? I’m still trying to do that!
I’m so excited for all the hard work you are doing! Especially doing the scary things (your knees)! You are so inspiring! Are you reading Atomic Habits or putting principles into action? I listened to it last year, which is fine, but I’m on the hunt for a used hardback copy, as I think I’ve forgotten a LOT because I don’t have anything physical to refer back to!
Ok, catch up time……It’s been a wild ride since we last talked
I got almost everything done on the house that I wanted to, but Scott had to go into work for a little bit, then worked an hour over, so it was all on my shoulders. I got the important stuff done. Got to parents house about 8 pm and at 10 when everyone was getting ready for bed, dad’s right arm went “dead”. No other signs of a stroke, his arm was useless, so we took him to the ER where he as diagnosed with TIA and had to be admitted for more tests. They had Scott and I go on to the family reunion (which was wonderful!) while he got other tests. Yesterday morning they finally got the results back. 80% blockage on his left side carotid artery, and 50% on the right, with some spinal cord narrowing as well. Vascular surgeon said surgery should be scheduled in the next couple weeks, then he’ll need to talk to ortho and schedule surgery for his neck, THEN he can get his nerve/hand surgery that was scheduled for July 1 (not any more). He got released with “no water skiing” constraints yesterday, they will be on their way here soon! Takes about 2 hours to get here!

Good Monday morning ! … wooot! I made it to my early am appts (not an early riser ! I got there at 7:12a, the lady at the xray desk had the door locked still, she said she doesn't know why they tell people to come at 7:15a for a 7:30a appt, bc nobody is there :p. She said I could have a wander in the sunshine, or come in and wait in the waiting room. I chose the wander, might as well get those steps in early, ya?
I 'had a wander' (heh, her phraseology, she was English) around the campus. Got an 0.48 mi, 14 min walk in. Checked in, got my x-ray, went down the hall, checked in early for my 8a ortho appt, had the visit with the MA, updated vitals, had the visit & right knee exam with the PA, got the left knee injection. He said to move the knee around to get the visco to spread, so after checking out, I 'had another wander' around the campus. Made it longer, to stretch to 30 mins, Fitbit clocked 1.52 mi, but 45 min bc I didn't shut off the watch until I was already in the car and driving home :p. The miles are right, it only got the walking miles, but the time isn't right. Best guess was ~ 33 min, give or take.
The right knee xray shows the arthritis in that knee has progressed to bone on bone. Awesome :/. STILL the left knee hurts more. The arthritis isn't as advanced there, but the meniscus tear makes it much more painful, and the swolls are bigger. At least they'll give me an injection in that knee too (the right one), next week, when I go for 2nd of 3 visco shots for the left knee. Have an in-office PT on Wed this week, too. I wonder if the exercises will stay the same playlist, or be changed/added to?
It's toasty today ! For here, I mean. It's currently 80F, feels like 84F, but that feels tropical after the spring we've had! lol Tomorrow is supposed to be above 90F, Then 80F, then 70F, then back to the 60sF by Fri, and 60s & raining again on Sat & Sun! 🙃

Monday Power Hour started … lol thru the dryer & folded, and litter boxes scooped, so 2 of 5 done. Also washed & hung lol. I distracted myself with finding a Portuguese main dish (Peri-Peri Chicken Espetada), a French side dish (Extra Fine French Green Beans, produce dept at TJ's), and a possibly/kinda/maybe Spanish inspired side dish (TJ's recipe, grilled fruit skewers) a Portuguese dessert (Portuguese Custard Tarts, frozen @ Trader Joe's),
I did 2 of 4 items on my 'Other' list (2 med appts, and wash & hang lol). I also did 1 of the 4 Bingo squares from my 'Want to do', plus did those two walks earlier (14 min, and ~33 min).
For evening, I still have: Possibly a run to TJs for chicken & stuff to make marinade (need Peri Peri Sauce, I have the other ingredients on hand - Eric might go on his way home, he's been pet-sitting since last Monday, he's home tonight). Plus: Shower, Drops Turkish, DuoLingo Turkish.
Having a snack protein tea, post-lunch, and watching an FBI Most Wanted ep, then I'll get back to completing my incomplete Monday Power Hour !

Did the dishes, put together a double recipe of marinate, and put a double count of boneless, skinless chicken thighs in to marinate overnight. Cleaned up after that, too ;-). Did the bathroom swish & swipe. Am contemplating my two 15s to complete my Monday Power Hour, but I've decided to leave it incomplete. I'm a sweaty mess already :p. Still have to do my (daily) Gastroc Stretch on wall hold 30 seconds * 3 sets * legs. I think I'll go in the shower after. I want to try and get up early tmo, b/c tmo is PTEs sesh (~455m), plus PF ST sesh (~50m), and I'd like to get them done early, before the heat hits. It'll be somewhere between 91F ad 94F here tmo (heat index higher), so I'd like to get workouts done early.
I am going to start reading Atomic Habits tonight for sure. Feeling like a little reading before bed might be perfect.

Oh, whoa, heyyyy! Hi Jenny!! I thought you'd be gone all week :p. No, nothing has changed, the edit is still limited to an hour in most groups, but in this one, you are the owner, and you made me a leader, so there's no clock on the editing window :). I figured that rather than bombarding you will a gazillion posts when you got home, I'd just have one for each day.
Atomic Habits, so, the Fat2Fit group started a book club this month, and their first read was Atomic Habits. I signed up with the challenge again, just so I could participate. I bought the hard copy last year sometime (can't recall if it was late fall, or late summer), but haven't read it yet. I'm excited to get into it!
