Does anyone have plans for Easter this weekend?

I am going to enjoy my 3 day weekend! We are also going to see the Book of Mormon at a local theater. I've never seen it, but hear it's funny!

Happy Friday ! I feel good about this, I feel like I might have things under control.

I have no plans for Easter, this weekend the subfloor and insulation gets installed. Plumber (my nephew) is coming in to sort all of that out. I have to go order the cabinets for around the fridge, I can not tell you how glad I am that I did not order those with the rest of the cabinets, because the whole section had to be changed, as it's a solid block wall, and our original plans are impossible. So no holiday for us. I do plan on getting some exercise in, I am just not sure what.

    Have a great weekend !

@Gidgitgoescrzy I'm glad you didn't buy cabinets that wouldn't work for that area! It still sounds very busy, but you are moving along!

I wanted to sleep in this morning, but my body had other plans and I was awake at 5am, forced myself back to sleep and woke up at 7am. I'm planning on a walk today and maybe some yard work. I need to do some weeding in my gardens and trimming some bushes.

All holidays or a family affair around this house so family is over on Sunday… 17 people plus my granddaughter we usually do a brunch in the morning and we hide the plastic Easter eggs that are stuffed with chocolate and stuff.

This year I bought a couple of the bigger plastic Easter eggs and I'm going to hide a couple of the marshmallow peeps in them for my granddaughter I think she'll love it it's her first year searching for eggs🤣🤣

Whew! What a busy day! I did a lot of yard work this morning, and then went for a walk. I was exhausted when I got back and ended up taking a nap haha. Then I finished reading a book, finished the blanket I was crocheting and started a new puzzle. The weather was beautiful and will be all weekend! Enjoying time outside and soaking up some sun! 🌞

@fourathomej that's a lot of people to get together! I hope you have a great time and the kids have fun on the easter egg hunt. That was always my favorite part as a kid!

Keeping my GW maintenance calories in mind has helped immensely this week. I haven’t been to the gym but I’ve been enjoying the weather with little walks.

It was bound to happen sometime. It was spring break last week and I definitely wasn't as disciplined. And on Sunday of last week I accidentally kicked my kid's high chair, most likely broke my pinky toe for the third time I think so have been taking it easy with workouts. Got pulled back into office starting last Monday after working from home on a full-time basis for the past few years. On a good note,my office is stationed by a lake so at least my breaks have consisted of walking outside with beautiful scenery and hitting 10000 steps isn't as difficult.

@lauren_989 I am so sorry 😢 I forgot to ask you to be excused from weigh in last week. I was on holiday, that's why I haven't posted much.

So sorry, I'll be back to weigh in on Monday, if that's OK with you 🥰

Hi all, I'm kind of back - @lauren_989 can I be put back on the active team?

Things are so surreal here. I'm rattling around a house filled with memories, but holding it together, I still get up at 6am to walk the pup, I'm going back to work next week… I'm thankfully working with a counsellor, and I'm trying to keep everything together. Turns out my go-to grief emotion is rage, so that's interesting to manage. I'm still working out a lot and have the 25km hike coming up in a few weeks.

@Alatariel75 Glad you are back and are getting some help to keep it together. I calculated 25km, that is 15 miles 🤨. Is it a destination hike just for fun, or a competition hike ?

I am happy to be back to work, I finally get a moment to relax 😜 I swear I did not sit down all weekend, between all the laundry, yard work, construction mess which requires constant cleaning, and the camp cooking, and no help because I want the husband focused solely on the kitchen, it is so much more work. Hubby got the new subfloor down and a temporary sink made, next week will be straightening the walls out, they are so out of square, I mean like an inch and a half out.

Anyway, I did get my front flowers planted, and my zinnias, dahlias and peonies are starting to pop their little heads out. This is my 1st time trying to grow Peonies, I hope they do well, because they are one of my favorite flowers. My big hanging fern had to be repotted, it's pot broke, and I have no clue how or why. So weird.

Hope you all have a great day !

@Alatariel75 we would love to have you back! Do you still want Wednesdays to be your weigh in day and do you have a weight for last week? I'm excited you're still doing the 25k hike!

@Gidgitgoescrzy wow you have been busy! I'm glad you could get some rest at work today 😂

I had a busy Monday back at work, after having 3 days off. Lots of inbasket messages to catch up on. I went to body pump after work today and increased my weights some. Hopefully I won't be too sore tomorrow!

    Thanks @Gidgitgoescrzy and @lauren_989

The hike is an organised event, but not a charity one, up in the Australian outback. We fly up for a long weekend for it (me and three girlfriends). Some people are using it for a competitive trail run, but we're just doing it for fun and to push ourselves.

Wednesdays is still good for weigh in, last weeks weight was 86.0kg

Good morning team, I had a bad day yesterday, I snacked pretty much all day instead of eating regular meals. eeeek I was irritated for some reason, and just anything and everything got on my nerves. So, today is going to be a perfect day !

This evening I am going to see my cabinet guy to order the last 2. I got some stuff ordered yesterday, the faucet, the range hood, and new silverware, I've been looking for new dinnerware, but I just haven't found anything that sticks out. I have seen a lot of really large sets of china on facebook market place for not alot of money, and I have no problem using china as my everyday plates, but I can't confirm if it is dishwasher safe, cause I will use it, but I'm not handwashing it. I just know I am over stoneware, I had the prettiest set, but it chips so easily, so I'm going to try something else.

So who else is shooting to have a perfect day ?

    @Alatariel75 hugs ❤️ I am sorry I wasn't more supportive but I am thinking about you ❤️

    Good afternoon Waistaways :-)

My current weight is 242lbs 😀 it is going down slowly.

My days are so busy at the moment. It is frustrating that it feels like its work, home, sleep at the moment :-( I am still concentrating on doing as much overtime as I can but today I feel like I need to slow down a bit and enjoy my life a little. When I finish my work this evening I am going to sit down and write down my outgoings and see if there's anywhere I can cut and save. I've signed up to a lot of subscriptions that my boys are using. I pay all my boys phone contracts, so I am paying £100 in just phone bills. Two eldest boys are at university and they are working, too but I still feel bad to ask them to pay for their own :-( but that makes me feel like such a bad parent :-(

Anyway, I'll see what I can do money wise and I need to get some exercise routine into my day, not just chore exercise type …

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and have a great week Waistaways ❤️

My weight was lower yesterday of course, but 2 pounds is still great!

I was able to get out for my walk/jog today before the storms and my 5k training is going well!

@strong_fit_ells I feel the same! Work, home, exercise, sleep. At least I am too busy to snack mindlessly!

@Gidgitgoescrzy I am in for a perfect day today! As long as I don't binge after dinner, I will be there!
