    Happy May Day, my friends!

Here I thought my hand would be all better…but noooo! I am recovering and healing just fine…dumb finger is still broken and hurts sometimes. I am out of the cast but in a wrap-splint thing. At least I can take it off when using my right hand it a better idea than using my left.🤗 I go back in 2 weeks. Maybe that's when I get outta all this stuff.

We will have Collin this morning and Ronan this afternoon.

I get to go back to my trainer Monday!! Time to stop all these lazies and the cookies and ice cream.

My weigh ins are so up and down. It’s time to really watch my snacking this month. My friend and I are working really hard with our morning exercise. We’ve made an agreement to prioritize nutrition. I adjusted my weigh ins this month because my trip is 5/20-27 so I’m getting on the scale on the 20th. We return late on the 27th so will weigh in the morning of the 28th.

Chris sorry to hear about your hand/fingers. Removable splint is so much better though.

Paula yo yo weight puts me in a mood. How is Hogwarts going?

Kathy vacation time is here again. Glad to hear you are focusing on nutrition and outdoors. Both are good for body and soul.

Went to the gym tonight. Did upper body with a trainer. Triceps were on the menu.

Well tomorrow is the day. I am ready to garden and relax.

A neighbor is giving me a dryer (mine broke years ago) so I was making room in the garage and dropped a file cabinet drawer on a single toe of my right foot, Whamo! A mystery how that drawer hit the middle toe and miss the two on each side, but it did.

Since I've smashed fingers before, it wasn't surprising that when the numbness faded, there wasn't much pain. Will just avoid bending it for awhile. And it won't matter that it'll be bent and funny-looking now because that'll just match the rest of me.

So now I've got this amazing almost-black purple toe. Gonna have to wear flip flops to show it off!

Paula!!! I do that to my little toes…both of them, or run into a chair leg! Ouch!

We had the boys for a while so Sara & Pete could go to a funeral service. Took a walk to the farm and around but no sleeping for Collin. I think it was because Pat and Ronan went with us and it was too much distraction for Collin.

I am reading and Pat is working on our dryer that malfunctioned.

I hope you all have a nice weekend.

    Hey Chris,

The neighbor never got back to me about the new dryer. Can I borrow Pat?

While my weight was yo-yoing, it felt like my body was reshaping. All of a sudden (basically one week) my hipbones reappeared; my body turned lumpy, bulging folds into soft curves; and I'm swimming in my formerly-favorite fat-clothes.

Good job, Paula! and I'll let you know if Pat is ever in your area…😁

Ronan is over today playing video games w/Grandpa. I haven't done anything. That's my Sunday!

My goodness tomorrow is my first Monday of retirement. Like an extended holiday. Sorry for your toe Paula. It hurts for sure.

Very strange. This not going to work!

Happy Retirement, Shelley!! I love it! Sometimes the day is so long you'll wonder where all the sunshine came from! You get to go to the grocery store when there aren't a ton of folks like when you were doing it after work or on Saturday. AND your coffee is poured in your cup and not your thermos. Have fun!!

I get to go to my trainer today. I'm gonna shock her cuz I'm not wearing any makeup. Once the cuts on my forehead are closed up I'll start wearing makeup again. Can't hardly wait for that.

    Have a good Monday everyone!!

Monday: 30 minutes full body strength training and 30 minutes Get fit with Rick Zumba walk.

I took my Godson out for his 18th birthday yesterday along with my BFF (his grandmother) and my exercise buddy. We had such a good time. I ate only half my meal and took the rest home. Small steak, baked sweet potato and a salad. I am doing better with nutrition so far this month and hope it reflects on the scale.

    Shelley enjoy your retirement!!!

Paula you’re so right…retirement is heavenly.

My trainer went really easy on me Monday. It felt so good to do it!! She had a toe issue yesterday and we had to cancel today. I'll see her Friday.

Collin will be here shortly and the playtime will begin. Maybe I'll walk after he is p/u. Pat and I need to make soup tho, so we'll see what works out. We took Collin to the park for a short play time. Pat rolled the stroller across the grass and I think it messed w/his knee. No park for him today. I would rather take Collin to the farm and the dog park in the stroller than let him run free w/just me to protect him.

    I gotta start walking again.

Wednesday: 20 minutes full body stretch, 20 minutes upper body strength and 30 minute cardio indoor walk. New video on YouTube. Didn’t catch her name but she was great. I was sweating. She added upper and lower body work with the walk.

I’m eating healthier and trying to keep focus.

Happy Mother's Day this coming Sunday, my friends!!

We had Collin this morning and I had my trainer at noon for a 60 min workout. She went so easy on me.

I want to walk to the post office tomorrow, but I haven't walked in 5 weeks. If I get up early and walk before it gets hot…dun…dun…dun…it's 90 right now and beautiful. It's going to be the same tomorrow. We'll see how it all plays out.

Today marks our 13th year in this house. WOW!! 13 years! Tuesday we had our housekeeper here and it's also been 13 years since she started housekeeping for us! Crazy, right?

    Well, that's it for now.

Hot and beautiful on the coast. They slurried our street today, so I'm housebound and hunkered down. Sitting in the sunny sitting room, doing Hogwarts homework while watching crows grab peanuts off the deck railing. Today is a good day.

    Friday: 30 minutes recumbent. That’s it that’s all. 😂

it’s a rainy weekend here in Georgia. Will probably do the same today along with a good stretch. I’m looking forward to having some family over on Sunday.

    Enjoy ladies.
