And we did have to put a temporary piece of fence behind the new clematis. They could not reach their new dwelling.

The Hogwarts challenge is wrapping up. I needed that accountability as a kick in the pants. It exceeded my expectations. Hoping my good habits are back.

    • Consistently losing weight again (10# so far) with food tracking & less carbs.
    • Got my exercise mojo back with regular short walks and strength workouts.
    • Drinking more water.

One dark and windy night, she woke to a strange gurgling sound. Whacking her husband gently she whispered, "You are snoring again, honey. Roll over." He did. The gurgling continued…she sat up, looked around the room and realized the gurgle was coming from the open window across the room. Frowning, she knew there was no water in the deep hole she had dug for her trellis that afternoon. She had double checked for water pipes and gas lines before she began digging. She threw off her blankets, swung her legs out of bed and tiptoed barefoot to the window…

    Good one, Paula!🤣

Took Collin to the farm and around to the dog park. There is a kid's park next to the dog park and there is a water play area…there was one little boy playing in the sprouting waterfalls, but Collin wanted to fallow the water leaving the play area down the river to the drainage grate. When he saw that the water was going down the grate he backed up and shook his head, "No, Granma, no!" He spun around (scared me to death) and started running back up the river. When we got back to the top and saw the water spouting up to the sky, we laughed then, suddenly, the device where we were standing came on, shot a ton of water skyward and we got soaked! He thought that was the funniest thing that had happened…I didn't laugh at getting soaked, I laughed at his giggles as he bent over and slapped his knees several times. We were a little wet!!

We came home and he played with Grandpa at his little water table out back. That kid loves the water!

After SIL p/u Collin, I made soup. Now I'm reading.

It's Finals at Hogwarts. Had to take Monday off, because three days of ibuprophen hadn't kicked in yet. Today my body finally felt ready to go. Gonna have to do a workout video plus a one-mile walk (twice around my block) 4 days for Quidditch this week. DADA and Potions are done already.

Debating whether to sign up for next term or take it off to catch up on normal life stuff. Either way, I hope maintain the regular workout schedules. Need to rebuild up some lost muscle mass.

Chris what was making the noise? That was so awesome.

And Chris, were you wearing a dress when the water gushed up from under you? A Marilyn Monroe stance was what I pictured. I can imagine Collin laughing. 🤣 Great fun.

Paula join Hogwarts again. If you stop you run a chance at falling. And we know how hard it is to get back up. Chris is great at telling stories.

It is pouring down rain here. So whatever is in that hole is probably gurgling!

Cleaned my tanks and changed the water. When I pulled out the filter media I found baby mollies on it. Must have been swept into the overflow.

Some survived. Leg day at the gym. We did arms also since we don't have class on Thursday.

I’m happy to see this number but wouldn’t be surprised to see a bounce when I weigh in on the 31st. But I’ll take it for now. We were pretty active on vacation and it’s showing in the numbers. A lot of walking, the pool and lots of fun. 😀

We had Collin this morning. Played in the sand box, the water thingy and drew w/chalk on the patio. Fun stuff! Ronan is here now playing video games w/Grandpa.

I had my trainer at noon for a 60 min workout. She's changing it up a little bit. It was good.

Going to finish my coffee and read.

    Shelley,

Ur right about not losing the momentum once uv got it again. Hogwarts is offering a part-time student option which will be perfect for me. Only the basic Quidditch (exercise), Potions (diet) & DADA (fun) requirements each week. That'll leave me time to get stuff done IRL.

Hope your hole isn't still gurgling. Chris has a vivid imagination.

    Paula

ps glad you were able to save some of the baby mollies. Babies pull heartstrings, y'know?

Kathy glad you are back. And hopefully you had a blast. Any photos you would care to share? I think the weight loss had more to do with not eating because you were out having fun. Great going.

Paula she sure does. That sounds like a great fit for you.

Chris those boys are growing like weeds!

Went to yoga class today. Sweated some. Last night was weights and body weight workout. Great fun. Movie today. Sinner, or there abouts. Drama action and violence. It had some vampires and almost a musical.

Tonight was my first time for cleaning the aquarium. Pretty sweet job. Should take about an hour to get it done.

Thanks everyone for the happy birthday wishes. It was a good day and awesome trip. Working on laundry and ready to get back to workouts. As I’m catching up with the posts I see you all have been very busy.

Here’s a couple of photos. Sorry they are so big.

Beautiful pictures, Kathy! Looks like you guys had a great time!

We had Collin this morning and Pat is on his way to p/u Ronan from school. Now, only 8 days left of school for him. Then he will be a 4th grader! Crimeny!

Nothing more for me today except coffee and my book!

Got hot here before I got outta bed at 9:00 a.m.!! It's pushing 100 right now. Sunshine and hot 13 mph wind. Just checked the weather outside…didn't see any walkers. I usually see a few around the school or up and down our block. Nopey, nope!! If I get outta bed by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, I should be able to get a few miles done. Maybe I'll head to Laurel Park and around to the Rocky Road that ain't there anymore. I haven't done that one in a while.

I'm going to read now. Have a great weekend, my friends.

Kathy I love the white outfit. You are a great dresser. I wouldn't even be comfortable in clothes like you pull off. Fantastic

Chris he is growing so quickly. I hope you get in that walk.

Went to a kids birthday party. At the Rec. pool area. It was fun watching the kids play.

So Rocky is going to use one of those weight loss medications. Anyone else ever done that? I am hopeful for him. But have long term doubts. I know others here that are using it. But all recent. I hope that if he eats less so will I.

I dug up some tulips today. We planted them last fall. They were ugly. So I tossed them. One had an ant colony all around it. And eggs. Interesting
