Hey Y'all:
Had my COVID booster and flu shot on Friday after work. Did ok yesterday, but today I'm more sluggish and just achy all over. Trying to take it easy…had my housework (for the most part) all caught up including laundry to last for the week, so leaving that alone and just resting. Getting ready to fix my 2nd meal of the day and then read for a bit. Hoping to feel well enough to get back to work tomorrow.
So, what's your plan for today? Hope you're having a leisurely Sunday and enjoying time for yourself.

Hope you all had a great day…mine was busy, but somewhat productive. Hoping to make more headway tomorrow…going to go lie down in a bit, but have a few more things to accomplish around the house first.

Been dragging the family out for walks with me while the weather is decent. My husband, youngest son, and i walked around a nearby park one day. Then my daughter, husband and I went for a 2 mile walk in a park that is wooded that is along side the river. The next day I drug my husband out to help me walk the dogs. We have 3 large dogs, they are all 115 to 126 lbs. And although they are well behaved, if they decide to take off, I'm not strong enough to handle more than 1. So he went with to walk 2 of them on a 1.5 mile walk. I took the 3rd for a walk after, she is older and can't walk far so she gets to go on her own shorter walk. Her walk was only half a mile and she was moving slow the 2nd half, I debated on calling my husband to come pick her up, but we made it, at about a speed of 1 mph 😂 ignor the ungroomed butts, they have been extra sheddy this year and I can not keep up, I have brushed them all out 3 times this summer and they need it again ugh

Stressed day…lots of storms, lightnight, heavy rains and flooding today…work lost power for 2 hrs and computers and internet were up and down all day. VERY stressful. Going to relax and watch some HGTV and relax.

Today is another dreary weather day in northern Virginia so I hope you don’t experience another power outage @jessicakrall8. We couldn’t row on the water the past couple of days so we had indoor workouts. I would prefer to be outside, on the water, but the workouts were good. I was in Boston last week. It was great to spend time with my family - and I did a bit of running by the beach and park - but it’s so nice to see my rowing friends again. I like my regular routine!
@nancyinmiami - Thank you for all the fun ideas for welcoming Fall. I love this season but it’s also a reminder that our days are limited for outdoor rowing. So, I appreciate the reminder about why Fall has been my favorite time of year. I hope everyone is having a good week and making progress on your goals. The steps are impressive. It looks like your family walks are really adding up @angmarie28! That’s a lot of dog walking! 🙌🥳🙌
