So as I have whined and moaned all month, I am STUPID busy with work and such right now.
And while I have tried to log my food and exercise as best I can, I have been a bit slack letting all my pals and group members know how impressed and pleased I have been with your efforts and attentions.
Thank you to everybody who kept posting encouragement and cheers, even when I was silent.
Well...I finally got to weigh in properly today and I am right chuffed to tell you that this morning I cracked the 300 barrier!
I am now 299.51 pounds!
For anyone keeping track, that is about 7.5 pounds for October! (Not bad for a crap-grazing stress bunny!)
That leaves me with only 100 left pounds to lose! I have finished my "+"!0 -

Ignaura, Pidge, everyone, I'd like to keep going but the wife just came in to get me moving. I have to go attempt to NOT fall when walking on sharp rocks while seeking lavatubes. Hiking today! (Giving up football viewing, you have NO idea how difficult this is. gasp! :ohwell: )
Oh, and the point of this whole post, besides the kudo's? As a posting group to this Topic, with one week left in October, we have lost 110.4 lbs. Already passing what we did in September. Now, let's rock this last week and really hit it home for Halloween!0 -
The past few days I've really just let myself go and I am feeling the repercussions of that in the way my body feels and just the way I feel as a whole. I am going to get back into the swing of things, for real this time, and not let this distract me from my goals.
I have decided to forego weighing myself until next week. With TOM hitting and how much sodium and alcohol I have consumed in the past 3 days I know that the number on the scale will disappoint me and I don't want to risk getting emotional and letting it get the best of me.
I am really proud of everyone this month! Keep that momentum going into November :-)0 -

Goals:
- Get down past 309 lb (100 lb total loss) - Below 309 on the scale, but I don't want to count it until the moving average (currently at 309.2) drops below 309.
- Get my 340 lb x 5 back squat - Not going to happen this month. Been slacking some on my squatting due to knee pain that I am experiencing at loads over 315-320 lb. It could be arthritis, my need to lose more weight, or just my being a wuss.
- Raise my sleep average from 6.1 hours / night to 6.5 hours / night. - Currently averaging 6.55 hours / night.
Checking in. Been a bit of a stranger lately (October through February are ridiculously busy in the U.S. healthcare IT field). Anyway, just wanted to say to those who have achieved their goals for this month, congratulations and keep fighting! And for those who have not achieved their goals for this month, use what you have learned this month to set better goals for next month, and keep fighting!0 -

So I didn't meet my goal, but 4.8 lbs in a month is okay with me! I am pleased to see my scale go downwards... I am happy with my increase in fitness level! I went shopping two days in a row and don't have to take many breaks... I am making positive changes to my life and my health and that will result in more losses!
I can't wait to see how everyone else did! And time to think of some November goals0
