Kat, I am waiting to hear what your next results say....fun times! I'm glad you're finding out. I never understood people who waited.

Right?! I want to know so I can start buying gender specific things plus I have certain themes for the nursery. Mother in law says she's not sure she wants to know because that's half the fun. Well I'm not patient and that would not be fun for me haha.

Welcome Kelly! I can't be a lush right now being pregnant and all but trust me the lush side is in there :drinker:

A Magner's, about 1.5 glasses of grancha, and a nice Belguim ale when I got home last night. Then I ate popsicles instead of drinking more while watching American Horror Story Coven. Love that show!

I'm going to the liquor store at lunch to prepare for my guest.

Hi Kelly- you have found a great group. Supportive and very entertaining!

I did "ok" this week. Just one beer on Sunday, a zero on Monday, and drinks Tues-Thursday. Will try and moderate through the weekend.

October is flying by. Lots going on in here between babies, booze and Octoberfest beers.

    Have a great weekend all.

    Lushy weekend.

Friday - 2 martinis and probably a bottle of wine since 3 of us drank 3
Saturday - pint of Blue Moon at late lunch, glass of wine before the festival, 2 beers, 2-3 wines, and a vodka at said festival, and a glass of wine in the hot tub after the festival
Sunday - half bottle of red

Pretty proud that I didn't keep drinking yesterday after the wine. I had frozen yogurt instead. I do need to have a 0 today and tomorrow because the rest of the week I've got dinner out plans (including anniversary dinners plural) so I need to let my liver rest.

    Friday-3 manhattans
Saturday-a couple beers and some wine at the party then we stopped for a couple of beers on the way home
Sunday-2 beers at lunch, stopped for a margarita then a pineapple vodka and sprite at home
Don't feel too bad this morning. Not sure what the week will bring as far as drinks. I should probably try and keep it low key since we have a concert friday night, beerfest saturday and another concert monday.

This weekend is our yearly trek to the mountains for the Woolly Worm Festival and the Renaissance Fair in which there will be plenty of drinking. Should be fun. My daughter, her two friends and my fun sister are going. I sooooo need this break.

Trying for 0's all week. So far so good.

My parents have a place in Banner Elk and have been to this several times. Love that part of the country. We were there Labor Day.

    Monday - 0
Tuesday - 0. Have my first of 8 yoga classes tonight right after work so hopefully I'll be feeling all zen and not want to drink.

Running around after a 21 month old toddler and then calming a gassy 3 week old is good for the not drinking. No time or free hands so yesterday was a ZERO for me. I am heading home today and back to the grind. I am having a wonderful visit and don't want it to end but it must.

I weigh my food portions whenever I can. For example, if I want to have three ounces of chicken breast, I will put a piece of it on the scale. If it is a bit too much I will pinch off a portion to make it the three ounces I want. More often than not, I then eat the portion I pinched off.

    Is that normal?

That's a lot of estrogen in one family, Diana! Your poor parents lol.

robin, it sounds like you've had the perfect visit...other than it being too short.

Gary, we've long since established that you are far from normal.

Oh my...I have been gone far too long and I miss my lushes. I have had no motivation for the past 2 weeks and need to kick myself in the *kitten*. I picked up the weekend at work but was lushy the whole week thru. Too many birthdays and too many happy hours. Ron and I are on a strict budget, so eating out and booze is even being rationed.

Anybody want to kick their own *kitten* with me?

I send an email to Senator "Boner" today and did my patriotic duty as a citizen. I am glad the veterans are pissed off and took down all the blockades. F the feds... Turns out Ron won't get his pension if this isn't resolved by the end of the month. We'll be OK but what about that ones that won't be? Rant over...breathe

Last night Len and I split a Clown Shoes Brown Angel, it was a bomber so about 11oz of beer and that was it....alcohol wise, cause then I ate pb and chocolate morsels...MMMM!!!!!

Kim, I need to get my *kitten* kicked. I have been LAZY this week. No morning workouts, just walks at night. Len tries to make me feel about it saying "we won't be about to get out on the trail soon, so we might as well take advantage of it" and granted it is a valid point but I need some strength training in my life  That said....another walk tonight and hopefully I can end my lazy streak and get to the gym in the a.m.

Yesterday was a cider at lunch. a glass of wine on the plane and vodka rocks when I got home to reset my clock back to going to bed early and getting up early. My kids run on a schedule that is about 3 or 4 hours past mine.

I have my "Kick my *kitten*" schedule printed out and it starts today. I am eating very healthy today and I have the dreadmill and a video workout scheduled for today. I hope I can stick with it because I seriously need to lose before christmas.

    Welcome back Kim.

Gary, I don't end up eating the part I pinch off because I always have Bodi and Ritter holding me accountable and begging with the most intense doggy eyes around. I can practically hear them saying "Mom, you don't need that!"

    Happy Lushing ALL!!!
