I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was doing SAG support for a bike ride from Miami to Key West this weekend, so I sat in a car all weekend, no miles to add for the weekend. I don't track my walking miles, and I didn't get to ride my bike
But, OH!!! what fun in Key West! It was their Xmas Parade!
This morning I did 20 miles, and after work, I'm supposed to do a ride with hubby. Will update miles if I do

Thanks to 9 inches of snow and icy roads, the only moving I have done in the last almost week has been shoveling snow and moving boxes. (Yes my in-laws moved into a new home in the middle of the snowpocalypse!)
This is my first day with internet access since last Thursday and I don't have time to catch up on everybody's updates, dang it! :grumble:0 -

Great 5k run this morning. Snowing a little bit, 12F, windy, very very quiet. It was icy under the new snow, but yeah for the Yaktrax! I was the only one in the streets and, as usual, got weird looks from drivers passing me by. :laugh: :laugh:
All in all, it was a great run
So I'm adding 3.1 miles for this morning & 3.4 walking miles for yesterday... falling behind. I'll have to pick up the pace as much as I can and got on the stationary bike at the gym tomorrow after my weight lifting session with my trainer.

Shoveling snow IS a workout in itself and a calorie killer, definitely not as fun though. :ohwell:0 -

2.5 miles today doing c25k. I am going to focus on my running, and not work so hard trying to get added miles as my hip was in bad shape again at the end of my 25 min run. I can't push like I did last week. I will continue to track my miles as it is motivating, and I want to use this challenge every month. I will be going to Reno to have Christmas with my parents for the first time in ten years, so wanted to get a jump on miles since I am not sure how workouts will go while there, and of course driving days. So whatever I end up with for December, so be it.
