Add me please:
I'm 45 from Texas. I used to do great w/my runs and then in 2013 just lost the desire for all of it. Life's challenges got in the way. So I'm starting all over from the beginning. Reset my weight and will be starting c25k tomorrow. For now I've done mainly walks with a lil jogs here and there but mostly walks until next week I start the running program. Going to try and take it slow this time so I stick with it.
Goal 50 miles
completed as of today 4.5 miles
Thanks!
@jessica68: Hey I remember you! My spreadsheet says that you clocked 156.98 miles in October, November and December 2012  Good to see you back.
The roads were too slippery to ride the bike and I didn't feel like running so I ended up with a 5.5 mile morning walk

Suppose I should try the normal 1000 miles
01-01: 37.02 miles
02-01: 53.37 miles
03-01: 54.03 miles
04-01: 32.03 miles
05-01: 30.04 miles
06-01: 40.44 milesJanuary miles: 246.92
YTD miles: 246.9 miles
Front trigger shifter decided to die on me today, but at over 40,000 miles in 3 years it has done well. The downside was the mech wanted to be in the granny gears, which are far too slow for the ride home. A quick bodge job repair of sticks forcing it over onto the middle ring got me home fine.
Another trip to the bike shop - it has been there so much recently I am going to let it cycle the 9 miles on its own, it knows the way!0 -

Walked 4.81 miles today
23.91 miles walked to date0 -

Off to a slow start this month.....the constant rain and storm force gales battering the island make it difficult to get out walking!

Ok, well my fitbit guilted me into ending my lazy day on the treadmill - must look up the definition of "rest day"!
And I see you're doing a great job of catching up in the step rankings now that you have a way to sync your Fitbit again! :drinker: Awesome job!
