Ahhh I really am having a brutal week. I don't know...I almost feel burnt out from the amount of working out. Still keeping my calories in check though.

Don't worry, team Carl will help you out! That's great you are sticking to you calories. How much strength and cardio do you think you can manage this week? Can you do the burpees? You can have my extra exercise minutes, and I'm sure the rest of the team will help out too, just let us know how many you need.

    Monday- Strength 20 minutes (1 of 3)
Tuesday- Cardio-30 minutes zumba, 10 minutes kickboxing
    Wednesday- Cardio 80 Minutes

This is what I have so far since yesterday. Hopefully I will knock out some of those burpees today and get some strength in. I think I am going to use my weights while watching Pretty Little Liars. It should make the time go by fast! Oh and so far I am under everyday for my food. The hardest part for me is strength training until I get something to really use for it. Go team Carl!!

Go, Katrina! You're week is looking good! I love your idea of using weights while watching Pretty Little Liars

Nerd fitness has some great body weight strength training routines. Fitness blender has some as well. I just found Has Fit this week, and they have nice body training workouts for all levels. If you like yoga or pilates, that counts too. Even just tossing some heavy things in a bag and pushing/puling them around for a while counts!

    Good luck today with everything.

    Go team Carl!

    Thursday,
    Cardio: 45 minutes elliptical

Nutrion: Did not log - but, I think I was under.

I will probably be short this week but will fight hard the rest of the week to get as much as I can done. I will get the burpees done this week but I am not really happy about it.

I went to the grocery store and got some fresh stuff which I have been low on. I haven't done a good shop in long time. Plus, we have been eating out way too much because of it.

Can I get a quick recap of requirements for this week so I can get up to speed? I know about the burpees.
Also, does our week end on Sunday? or Saturday?

Friday, I am hoping to get 60 minutes of something
    Saturday, 60 minutes
    Sunday, 60 minutes

Thanks for setting up the spreadsheet, Kasi :flowerforyou: I'm so impressed by your 5k time!

Kim - our goals for this week are 220 mins cardio (45 mins of which has to be combat?) and 90 mins strength training. We only went up by ten mins of cardio. We also had to do some extra walking and the punishment exercises were 50 burpees. Oh, and our week ends on Saturday. You have to get your stats send to Arzu before midnight Saturday.

Excellent work on the burpees, Katrina! You're week is going great!

Hi Kim - I'm planning on getting another 120 mins of cardio in by Sat, so you are welcome to my extra minutes. We can share our minutes with our team this week, which is awesome!

Kasi - the spreadsheet looks great, but I can't edit it either to put in my stats for the week. I sent you an email about access. It's zombieinkpot so you should recognise me!

    Go team Carl!

ETA: Should we add in a column for calorie goal?

Is that something we are tracking? Sorry, I am not up to speed with the whole contest yet?

Add in, remove, change whatever needs to be changed. I just figured this would be a good way to track how the team is doing. With the option of sharing extra minutes/reps we can see who needs a helping hand.

BTW, I just did an extra 50 burpees!!!

Kim - we are supposed to keep under our weekly calorie goal. I don't know if we need to have this on the spreadsheet though - what do y'all think?

Kasi - the spreadsheet is fantastic. It's a great way to keep track of how we are all doing and hopefully those who can will do a bit more so that we can help out our fellow team mates. Awesome on the burpees, you rock! :drinker:

Remember, we have to send our stats to Arzu before midnight Sat to get our points counted, and we need to have our burpees done to get the point for strength training. I'm going to try and get more mins of everything done over the next two days to help out the team.

We've got this! Go team Carl!

Okay, just did 25 more! My legs are dead tired now... no more tonight:noway:

I'm going to Group Power and Group Core tomorrow which are both Strength Training (90 minutes). That will put me over 60 minutes in the strength category. We are going to the beach for the weekend so if nothing else I will at least walk my last 60 minutes. I plan on going on a couple of hikes if the weather holds out long enough and the motel has a pool so I will definitely swim some laps.

Keep working hard team! We don't wanna another week of burpees:tongue:

So impressed with the burpees, Kasi, you're a star!

Team Michonne seem to think they have this week in the bag. They're already planning their punishment. I think we might be wishing it was burpees if they win!

Carl probably won't be in Sundays episode, so it's really worth our time to work hard and make a push for a win this week. I'm going to aim for at least another 180 cardio and 60 strength training by Saturday, and I'll really push for more burpees. They won't be up to your level, Kasi, but I'll do my bit.

Yeah I read the team Michonne board and they all seem to be ready to hand out the punishment for the week. But the harder it is the better for us in the end right? Tomorrow I am going to go shopping hopefully (as long as the snow stops sometime soon) and I plan on buying a resistance band to help out with the strength training. Hopefully it will be easier to get in my strength minutes with that.
