    Hello my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I have missed you terribly!!!

Kat-Sweetie, I am so so sorry for the loss of your kitty!!! We had to put one of ours down last year and it was probably one of the hardest things I had to do. But also the best thing for him, he is no longer in pain!!! :flowerforyou:

Syd, WORK SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Retirement...can't wait

Its been a CRAZY week!! Sunday night into monday afternoon we got 8-9in of snow, needless to say I worked from home. I only worked in the morning then Len and I started drinking vodka, then beer, then we were up WAY too late and I ended up calling out "sick" (which I NEVER do) tuesday. Then we got an ice storm tuesday night into wednesday and our office lost power for two days. It is back up and running now...sadly, wish it could have atleast stayed out til today so I could have the week off..GEESH way to go PECO  But in all seriousness PECO has done an AMAZING job. There were over 600,000 people without power in a 5 county region and most are back up now. :drinker:
We were lucky that we didn't lose power at home and were able to be nice and warm!

    Monday-LOTS of vodka and beer
    Tuesday-0
    Wenesday-0
    Thursday- 1/2 bottle of wine
Friday-not sure, probably a little of something.
Tomorrow we are celebrating my mom's bday, so def some drinks will be had!

I have to go back and catch up on most of the threads!!!

    Kate glad you are back.
Kim you are doing so well
    Syd - work sucks

I bought a new computer yesterday. I am having old data transferred to it so I will get it tomorrow I hope. Then I have to spend all that time getting it back to where I want it. such a pain.

Too much red wine last night. It is supposed to snow some this weekend so I will stay in and stay warm and try to clean up the dreadmill so that I can walk for hours.

Kate, sounds like your week was kind of fun with the snow days....

    Syn...I can never retire :ohwell:

Mama, just keep those feet moving

I am aiming for a sober Friday. My weight was up on Wednesday by 4 lbs. I am like WTF?? I think it was from the killer kettlebell workout. Anywho, I did my 2 mile run today.

I think we are going to the casino because husband is bored. I come home and he's antsy to go out but I am 'la tired. See, Kate, it's tough to work from home being all cooped up.

So I got my new computer. It is very close to my old one with a few new bells and whistles like a touch screen. I am getting used to it. I don't know how I feel about Window 8 yet and Office 2013 Excel was a little weird. I will cope. I also bought myself a tablet. I deserved it. I think I will dip into the red wine today.

    Happy lushing all.

Friday we split a bottle of wine and had two cherry vodkas with sprite.
Saturday was mommys bday celebration. it was a pizza party. i made dough, meatballs and pizza sauce and we had some other delicious toppings. it was a lot of fun! I got hammered! 3beers, 3 horse thieves (gin, vermouth, absinth), and a few manhattans...can't even tell u how many.
today we did a vertical beer tasting of dogfish head Palo Santo and now sipping on cherry vodkas and sprite zero. Its helping with the hangover.
watching Elysium....obviously i don't care too much about it since I'm checking in hahaha!
    enjoy ur day kids!

Got D-R-U-N-K on Saturday for the first time since the baby! He spent the night at my mom's so Mike and I could have a date night (we needed it). So we started out with dinner at an Irish restaurant and I had 2 vodka sodas with lime and a Stella. Then went to our favorite bar down the street that I have not stepped foot in for about a year. They had a great band playing and we won $100 bucks on a scratch off ticket from the machine. I had about 4 michelob ultras and a shot of something cinnamon tasting that I did not like at all! Needless to say I "pumped and dumped" that night when I got home. And I had a headache all day yesterday, totally don't miss that!

    M - 0
    T - 2.5
    W - 3.5
    R - 5
F - 2 grapefruit vodka with Sprite zero and splash of OJ, 1/2 bottle wine = 4.5
    S - same cocktail, 1.5 312s, and half a bottle of wine = 5
    S - 2 sips of wine

TOTAL = 19.5! That's close enough to goal of 19 for me. Although had I not had some stomach thing going on (see "2 sips of wine") I would have drank more wine last night as my parent got in town yesterday.

We go to AZ tomorrow through Friday so I will drink more than usual. May have a couple wines tonight. Not sure cause I'm still not feeling 100%.

After tons of snow last week, we got another 4 inches this morning :( BOO!

Had a pretty chill weekend...but drank lots of wine. I still have 1/2 a bottle in the fridge at home that I think I'll finish tonight.

The hubs had the flu last Thursday - Saturday, so I drank a bottle of Elderberry Wine Thursday night through Saturday night. :) I'm still not sick!! I think it works!

our weather is so off here that nature thinks its spring. there are 3 baby bunnies born under our deck and the freakin mocking bird is back and singing all damn day and night making me insane (and keeping me awake) he needs to find a mate soon or i might just have to seriously plot ways to kill the mofo.

we got a little rain (FINALLY) but back into the 70's/80's this week. we seriously *need* some winter. i dont ever remember it being this dry here.

    i'm moderating and being boring.
i need to up my exercise tho.
    have a good week lushes!

I know!! It's so crazy to watch the weather reports and see how just about EVERYONE else is having the coldest wintery winter ever...and here we are in a major drought.
I just *know* our winter will show up during my 2 trips I have planned during spring :frown:

It has warmed up to 40 and it is raining. Yay, back to the weather I know so well.

Last night was a couple of greyhounds. I had to go to the local wine store and pick up my club. I usually go every other month so I come home with a case of wine but I let it go for 3 months so I have 18 new bottles of wine to play thru.

I have been busy planning our trip to Florida. (the end of April) We have decided to avoid Disney and Universal so it has been fun coming up with other things to do. So far we have the Space Center, Ziplining in Forever Florida and horseback riding, and a water park (haven't decided which one). Then we head south so a private airboat tour in the Everglades, then when we get to Key west I have a bike tour and a pub crawl booked. I am sure we will do more and I am starting to get excited. We also just booked our anniversary trip for 2015(first week in May). We are going back to Sandals in Jamaica. (where we honeymooned) but to a different resort.

I am ready to travel. Happy lushing!

We went to the Keys for our Babymoon when I was about 4 months pregnant. It was awesome! Would have been even better if I could have had drinks! There are so many bars its ridiculous! I can't seem to remember the names of anything right now. But, I will talk to Mike and see if he remembers the good places.

    Awesomeness! Thanks

So a few weeks ago I made a joke about moving to Maui....yeah Len and I are planning a move for April 2016...not 100% sure where yet. Hawaii is definitely high on the list, but so is california, maybe even FL. That depends on our vacation. FL is kind of flat, which to me is ehhh, but I could change my mind...I'm easily swayed when it comes to beautiful views and warmer weather

Good to see the lushes thriving....

I was lushy on Friday & Saturday last week.

Monday was 3 margaritas at local restaurant. I will be good until Friday & Saturday and try to keep it to the 2 days with moderation. I don't know about everyone else, but when I drink the night before - exercise doesn't happen.

I just learned one of my besties is moving to Texas and I am

If I don't moderate...I definitely slack on exercise the next day. I also eat like crap. I'm sorry about your friend. :/

I've done pretty well this week. Usual 1-2 glasses of red wine which fits into my calories and I'm exercising. I need to step it up though if I actually want to lose some weight. This week has been stressful but I'm hoping I can really kick it into gear next week and maybe drop some lbs.
    Hang in there lushes!!

Hey guys, I've been following the thread and keeping up with all the antics of the group.

Wife and I went to see "The Monuments Men". It did not get good reviews but we both loved it. Stellar cast and a great story that many of us have never heard before. It must have been Senior Citizen's day at the movies cuz it was full of octogenarians.

So, the movie was interupted with "What did he say?!" And bad coughs. And an occasional, "I remember when that happened!"

Anyway, not moderating as much as I would like but have managed to keep the weight off with exercise and eating right.

My seasonal allergies are acting up which means... Spring is on the way! :drinker:

Wow the lushes got quiet. Hi all two days down of a 3 day vba coding class. I am brain fried and looking to enjoy some wine and mindless tv watching.

I hope you are all doing well.

I am going to say that January had absolutely no affect on February....

    Monday, 3 margs
    Wednesday, 5 wine samples

I am sure to fail for the weekend since I am off this weekend as well.

Gary, you crack me up...it kind of sounds like my unit
