Have started logging my PT that I am supposed to do at least every other day as calisthenics in my diary. I don't plan to eat back those calories, but I want to hold myself accountable for doing the exercises and logging here works for everything else, so why not. I didn't even eat back any of my lunch time walk today. I woke up ravenous, but had to make myself eat a tablespoon of peanut butter to get close to my goal number. Hope all of you are doing well. I am sleepy, sleepy, sleepy so turning in early.0 -

I'm having such a hard time staying green. I was in red danger territory at work today, luckily got out a little early in time to do 45 minutes of Zumba. After taking a break last week, my body just wants to EAT, EAT, EAT!!!!! I was going to go Chevy Red tonight, but instead am settling on some ginger tea.

So this evening we went and visited my dad in the hospital. He is awake, aware and able to have a conversation. He passed all of his physical therapy assessments other than the swallowing test. He is really upset about that because he wants to drink water. But he was able to sit up for 5 minutes and they are going to try to get him standing tomorrow.
It was a late evening (we just got home) because my husband had to work late, and then we had to have dinner on the way to the hospital and then getting there, spending time and driving home. We aren't out this late often on weeknights. Now it seems like we need to rush to get before bed things done because we both have early morning responsibilities. :grumble: Being an adult sometimes is a pain.0 -

Went to the gym today but was crunched for time so did an abbreviated version of the weight workout that I did Monday (did 1 set of each exercise instead of 3, but I did increase the weight), and only a short run. Better than nothing though!

Don't worry about how fast you lose it Debbie it's not a race. You are doing really really well and your motivation is still very good so just trust in what you are doing right now and keep it green. You should be very proud of your achievement. You must notice a big difference already, so allow that to be your motivation to keep going nice and slowly. You are obviously on the right track.
