Meg - injuries can be SO disappointing, can't they? But, even though you're not getting high numbers for mileage, I am SUPER impressed that you can swim a mile. I can't even swim a quarter of a mile without feeling like I'm going to die, so way to go! Not super high numbers, but what a great workout for you!0 -

Happy Easter to all of our *kitten* movers, and especially Dave and Joe from MO. Arthritis pain still with me, so loaded up on pain meds and took a nice Easter bike ride, Stopped at a friends house halfway through the ride for a great pork rib dinner. Rode off those calories!

Hike 255meters up a mountain, managed 3.91 miles for today's total . Feeling muscles that I didn't know existed. But enjoying all the wonderful vegan meals. Have to return to reality tomorrow, catch up my ticker and return to work. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!0

4/19 - 2.5 test ride new bike and get it dialed in
4/20 - 42.9 bike (*love love love* the new bike!), MTD 162.2
And *BAAAAM!!* I crushed my GOAL by 42 miles (of course....my favorite number!)
And because Dean asked.. I took a pic of my one-day old bike on my first big ride...in front of a waterfall, not* snow. It's a Specialized Cross-trail Elite in an XL frame of course. I my new bike. It rides so smooth & easy. It feels so much lighter than my old one too. OH! And I got 20-ft of some really heavy-flipping-duty chain to throw over the rafter of my garage and added a massively heavy duty bike lock to it....it's actually my 1" thick plastic-coated KEVLAR cable lock I got for my Harley. This bike isn't going ANYWHERE without me. Still need to get a slightly more forgiving seat for it though. The one that's on it felt pretty rough by the end of today's ride. :blushing:

And also making GOAL with me today was.....*drum roll*.....VHUBER!! :drinker::drinker::drinker:
MEG2166 - Sorry to hear your back is bothering you! Just don't rush it and give it time to heal. Then after it loosens up and stops hurting, try to start doing some gentle strengthening exercises on it. If it's your lower back that's bothering you, I might have a suggestion or two. Let me know.
HKRISTINE - I agree with you!! I couldn't swim a mile either without nearly drowning!! I'm so bad at swimming...Well, I swim fine, but my lung capacity seems very limited.
ANACONDA469 - Thank you! Sounds like you had a nice Easter too! I sure wish I would have had a nice, homecooked pork rib dinner halfway through my ride today!!! That would have been waaaay better than the two Powerbars I choked down.:laugh:
SPEEDYF - Glad you had great weather too! I couldn't have asked for a nicer day today here... and the pic you posted mad me LOL because I was supposed* to do laundry today, but I didn't get back from my bike ride until too late tonight to do it!!
SCARFE9991 -:laugh: You're safe because I didn't say I was finished updating the spreadsheet yet! Don't worry, I've got you down. :drinker:
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend and managed to squeeze a little movement in along with some quality family time. :flowerforyou:
