Talked my daughter into a walk before dinner so we both could complain about the heat and humidity. :laugh: I think Spring skipped us here too. :grumble: Although the weatherman says the temperatures are supposed to drop 15 to 20 degrees starting tomorrow. And rain...:grumble: Oh well, the fact that I'm here and able to complain about the weather is success. (If I was just going to keep the couch company, why would I care about what happens outside? )
Added 5.5 miles today. May total 60 miles.

Somehow it is being another difficult month. My allergies are bad so running is tough. Time is short with graduation about a month away. Piles of legal paperwork, house paperwork, and job related paperwork not to mention school work. Ugh. I also know I do end up with some walking that I never really count since it is random and bit and piece.

My kiddo was a real trooper. Hubby had a meeting tonight and he agreed to stay in the kids care area at the gym for 90 minutes (!!) while I got my sweat on. It didn't hurt that I bribed him ahead of time with some frozen yogurt and really good chatting about how our days went, etc., but I'm pretty proud of him. It really is great to have a family that is willing to do its part so that I can meet my goals.
I got in 2.6 miles on the treadmill (2.5 miles of running at a really decent clip + .1 warm up/cool down) and 20.3 miles on the bike during spin class - for a total of 22.9 miles added for the day.

Dean, Look at you! You're almost...almost half way to goal! Nice job! We had 90+ degrees today...tomorrow is supposed to hit the 100s...won't be doing much walking outside until this weekend. It doesn't even cool off after the sun goes down. Give me the 70s and 80s and I'm happy! I envy your 65 degree breezy, cloudy day!!
