@taxmom - does sound a bit like SAGA. No offence taken - I'm a compulsive 'googler' so it took no time to look it up. Thats part of the MFP adventure.

Been to Dr's to get Achilles checked - got gel and instructions. Most of the stretches I've been doing any way for my Soleus. When this injury has healed I must keep my promise to myself and go to a runners clinic.
So many people off to such a good start - well done. My beloved tells me that my body just doesn't want to run - I think that up me though !!! LOL

I hear you.  I just changed out the cassette on my Trek to a 32-11 in the back. Already had a triple in the front so it climbs really well now.

I am totally getting fed up with the rain. No ride again, took a walk and even had to cut a mile off of that, due to getting soaked Oh well, maybe tomorrow.....

    05/08 - 1.0 miles walking
    05/09 - 2.5 miles walking

Anaconda - You need to look at it a bit different. Riding in the rain means you're the only one out there. It's quite, peaceful and you get the whole bike trail to yourself. :-) If you dress for it, the rain is really quite pleasant.
