Are you going to buy it?

I watched the short clip. I love stretching and yoga, but I've only tried Pilates once.

Yes I'm going to buy it. It's exactly what I need. I've tried a couple workouts I found on YouTube and I liked it.

Yes, well kinda. Not one of the exact workouts that will be on the new DVDs probably but Chalene has been teaching PIYO for years and classes are taught at gyms so there are a couple classes that instructors have taught and recorded then put on YouTube.

I'm pretty excited too. Maybe I can put my work gym membership on hold while I do this program.

I wonder how long it is?

I haven't heard of an official release date yet but I think it's supposed to be sometime in June.

I've heard June also. Not sure if I can work it into the CHX schedule I have right now since I do it at work.

I really hope it can get me long and lean. Especially long. I'm only 5'2...

Man, I thought I wanted to try Turbo Fire or a TF/CLX hybrid next, but now I really want PiYo!

It is so hard to resist ordering RIGHT NOW but I am determined to finish CLX clean all of the way through. One more Push circuit and then the Lean month to go!

More people will have given it their reviews by then, since it's a 60 day program. Then you'll be able to make a better decision for you.

I'm excited about this too but I'm so easily distracted by fitness programme ADD, I really REALLY need to finish my CLX/TF/Running hybrid first, then I'll buy this as my reward!

That's a fantastic idea! One thing I liked about CLX is that by the time you feel like you're ready to stop, it's time for a new phase!

I like to see reviews before I order. My birthday is coming up so but I am going to try to wait until the beginning of the year before buying a new program. Jillian is coming out with a new program this fall to so I am going to see what reviews that gets and decide. Right now, I kind of want Turbo Fire but I like the idea of not so much jumping with PIYO.

I just ordered Piyo too! I was on the Beach Body website saw a CLX/Piyo Hybrid but was really surprised not to see a Turbo Fire/Piyo Hybrid!? (unless I over looked it) I think those two programs would go great together!

That may be because CLX has a stretch (Recharge?) workout built in. I don't believe TF has a stretch workout that is substantial. I know there is a Stretch 10, but that's all I recall.

TF has Stretch 40 too. I really think any 2 programs can be made into hybrids but its so much easer when it's laid out for you. This site is great, this woman has come up with tons of hybrids, I assume PIYO will be on there eventually:

Oh yes, you are right! Stretch 40. TF isn't my fave program so I don't really follow it.

I actually own both programs and I am certified to teach PiYO, Hustle and TurboKick.

The new PiYo program is at a quicker pace than the stretch or recharge from TF & CX. The moves all engage the core and range from 30-45 minutes.

At anytime you can create a hybrid workout (currently I am doing CX/PiYo/Brazil Butt Lift & TF). But lots of other coaches post their hybrid workout ideas online as well. I also create my own hybrid workouts for fun.

Either way PiYo is not a bad program and with the clean eating plan people are seeing awesome results - but ultimately its about finding the workout that works for you. I myself will always be a TF girl - but admit I am seeing amazing results with my 2nd round of CX. That being said - PiYo really helps stretch all the muscles we neglect to stretch during our other workouts :)

I also had a hard time with the P90X yoga, Yoga X. When I ordered that system it came with a free One on One Yoga and that thing is about 40 minutes. It's also hard to get thru but really it's just because Tony Horton TALKS SO MUCH! I prefer that one.

TurboChristy, thanks for the info. I'm waiting until payday (Friday) to order the PiYo and I'm itching to get it!! I definitely need to clean up my diet though. At least I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing either.

I have ordered the Challenge Pack and signed up to be a coach. The coach I have is great, she's never once tried to sell me anything, only been very supportive so I hope to be like her.

Tracking says it should arrive on Friday.

I'm slightly nervous though, I've been hearing it's way slower than her other programs and some people can't handle taking their time.

I love Chalene so hopefully i'll be a big fan of this program.

If not I may work on a P90X in the Gym and PiYo blend.

Good luck to you being a coach! I've done 3 of the PIYO workouts and yes they are slow compared to other Chalene workouts because it's a totally different workout, well CLX strength workouts are slow paced too. Yoga and pilates are slower moving, it is nothing like any Turbo workouts or CLX cardio. The 3 I've done are not cardio like but I can really feel it in my muscles and heart rate still goes up a little. I do think that cardio could be added along with what I've done so far and I will probably add some in occasionally.
