Hey everyone - I have not down great on weight loss this month
BUT... all my belts are "in" one notch, and that has me feeling pretty good
Sometimes an NSV (Non Scale Victory) is as good as seeing the figures drop on the scales, well done0 -

Hey everyone - I didn't quite make my goal of 10 lbs, but I did lose 3, and that's more than 0!
Thanks, Carl, for setting up this group.
I am heading out on an eight-day pilgrimage (190 km of walking) so I won't be around when the group wraps up. Would love to join another in July if it's happening.
Thanks and congrats to everyone who had results you're happy with! Everyone else - hang in there!0 -

6/28 -I'm back down to the 188 lbs! Not the 10 lbs but it's the first time in months that I have really been on track and gone down. So thank you Carl!!!!!
and I know that we have an NSV page going but I think I'll post mine here. Just started the new session of my "bootcamp" which is really Circuit training. We do before and after pics and I put on a pair of workout pants that I havent been able to wear in probably 2 years! My nieces and sister in-law all commented on the fact that I look smaller!

Here is a reality check.... keep at it and take -3.3 for each of the next 10 months... Where will you be then...
Well you ticker now says you lost 47 lbs... add 33lbs. more to that, and see how good you feel about having lost 80 lbs.!

Now... you did all of the work.... and you're thanking me? I'll be thinking on that for awhile... My brain can't make sense of that!

Well everyone, attitude keeps us moving forward... no matter the ups and downs!
I'm doing good, and feel great too, but pretty much ended up where I started the month at 197.
I take measurements at the beginning of each month's challenge.
Today I recorded a 1" waist lost and a .5" hip lost for the month of June.
This was a crazy month for me and I'm glad to put it behind me!
Going to reset and on Monday and take on the Challenge again!

YES! I DID IT! This morning started with a nice balanced breakfast, and then 2 hours later I went out and did the first run on the C210K program. Since I have the half marathon this fall, I wanted to start back into running slow, so I stick with it. Then I followed up with 25 minutes of circuit training and strength.

Ended the monthe strong with another pound of loss. Overall, I lost just about 6 pounds which is a pretty solid amount for me especially considering I went on vacation and had some major life events that really were sucker punches to the gut. Excited to get things going for July and try to hit that 10lb goal this time.
