Lost 4.6lb this month. I am very happy with that. I'm so close to goal that realistically I am never going to lose 10lb in a month, but I like aiming to lose as much as possible!

Carl, don't apologize for motivating us. I for one should be posting encouragement more often. Reading the encouragement of others helps me see that I am not alone in this journey. I am in a community of kind people going through the same journey.

I'm really no different than anyone else here... On the street, most of you would never recognize me. I'm rather laid back and reserved. Really not a social butterfly looking for attention.
When I signed up here on MFP about 9 weeks ago, I didn't think or expect I'd be receiving thanks from so many of you. I really do appreciate it! I can also say that a portion of the satisfaction I feel from my MFP experience, comes from the interactions I have here with my friends.....
Through a couple of life's lessons I've learned, that what you receive from this (or anything else) is never greater that what you are willing to contribute!
I had a tough month last month... and am moving forward. You'll see my ticker moving again soon!
I plan on making this challenge a good one!

Well you recommitted so that's out of the way...Focus on each and every day.... one at a time and push yourself to make everyday better than the last one. You can't change last month, so forget it and move along!
Log your food every day and look at what you can improve on to increase your calorie deficit..
Oh and work on your friendships.... make some new ones from this group and support each other....
Taking control and paying it forward will get you everything!
