7/12 - triathlon - swam .3 miles, run to transition .2 miles, biked 16.8 miles, run 3.4 miles
7/13 - walked 1.2 miles
7/16 - swam 2500 yards = 1.4 miles
7/17 - ran 3.5 miles
7/20 - rode 21 miles
7/21 - ran 4 miles
7/23 - swam 1100 yards = .6 miles, walked 1.7 miles

I'm back for another month - This time it's for the motivation to help keep me going (*been lacking it lately*).
Goal for July: 100 miles
July 1st: 10 miles (*Cycling*)

July 9th: 12 miles (*Cycling*)
July 9th: .5 miles (*Swimming*)
July 11th-13th: 4.0 miles (*Walking*)

July 18th: 15 miles (*Spin*)
July 18th: 3.25 miles (*Running*)
July 19th: 20.5 miles (*MTB w/ Wike*)

I'm happy to see everyone moving and making progress. That's important, the progress part I mean. I know the month is coming to an end, and your goal may be further away than you want, but if you can make progress, any bit of progress, then you, my friend, are successful. :flowerforyou: This whole thing is a journey guys, not a one time deal.
The best any of us can hope for is Progress, either today, or this month or this year or....well you get the picture. :happy:

Drum roll please :laugh: That means July total is.......158.75 miles :bigsmile: :bigsmile: GOAL!!!!!!!
Glad I'm here. No, I don't plan to stop moving, but my daughter just returned from an 8 week internship in Ireland. (Yes, I am very jealous) I plan to spend some time catching up before we send her back to college next month. Hmmm......maybe we can take some long walks during those conversations.......0 -

Just finished an 8 mile run. Together with yesterday's miles I'm at 158. And that makes goal!0

Well after my Nephew's wedding and dysfunctional family reunion, my weekend was shot. I did celebrate 3 years clean and sober yesterday :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: . I think that is harder work than all the miles I ride on my bike. Plus, I finally made goal, and get to bask in the glorious yellow color. It has never taken this long to get there. My hips and left leg is healing nice.......and slow. Bummer.

I was planning to go home on Saturday and be back at it on my bike and running by Sunday, but my Mom ended up in the hospital, where we've been since Friday morning. I am cautiously optimistic that she will get to go home tomorrow and I might make it back to Arkansas by the weekend.
No measurable movement for me, although I have been sprinting up and down stairs several times every day. She is on the third floor and the only time I've used the elevator was when they were taking her down to surgery. I've even gone up to the 5th floor before heading down several times and I ran the block to the neighborhood CVS yesterday. After such a good start, I might not make my goal at all this month.
