    A short swim today. It was one of those days where I just seemed to be completely out of sync. It was a struggle, managed to get in 1200m of mixed strokes. That's what happens when you are struggling. @fishgutzy hope the interview went well.

    I got in an 80 lap swim before the interview in Cedar Rapids. Was planning 110 but something had my digestive tract a little upset and nature cut me to 80.
    110 laps today . 5km. Planning a second swim later to make at least 5 miles for the day. If I can knock out another 110 laps it will be a 10km day.

    As far as the interview? Hard to tell. I didn't soak my shirt with nervous sweat. I did have a couple brain freezes where some basic stuff threw me. But over all I think it went well.

    A simple and boring 1500m of free and back. Have a swim meet tomorrow - doing 50 back 100 back 200 back and 100 free with ten minutes between each race. I'm gonna die lol.

    Missed a few days of posting.
    I have been doing quite a few of my 750m Tri-Athlon Swim Time Trials along with some drills and ladder sets. Avg out to 1600 - 2200m per set. The school year is just ending so the Pool promises to get over run with kids filling in free time.

    Haha! Yes I know, I have been swimming but have been absent because my swims have not been very inspiring. Also it is the end of the school year and have been super busy with kids' activities.

    However, this afternoon I am taking the train to Riccione on the Adriatic coast for the Italian National Masters Championships so wish me luck!

    My races are 100 free, 100 back, 50 free and 4 relays.
